I Stood there as he pinned me again the wall the moment I looked him in the eyes I knew he was my mate "Let me go" I said still looking in his eyes he may have been known as the Alpha king but he wasn't the only one with Alpha blood.

"interesting" he said moving his mouth as close as he could to my ear "who knew my mate would want to challenge me so quickly" he continued.

"I don't care who the **** you are I will never willingly be yours" I said and I could sense the anger coming from him he grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the woods to his car, I tried make him not go to my rest but he was too strong.

he threw me in the passenger seat of his black Dodge ram and went around to the driver side and began driving "you will be my luna weather you like it or not" he said and I just started out the window.

2 DAYS AGO

I sat in my room brushing my hair when my brother yelled up the steps "Stella come on your gonna be late" "yeah yeah I'm coming" I said coming out of my room and running down the steps.

it's been just him and I since I was about 10, my brother Conner was 10 years older than me so he took care of me after our parents died.

"oh Conner do you mind if I go to a party tonight" I asked meeting him by the door "I don't know Stella don't you have a big test on Monday" he said giving me a werid look "yes but I have all of Saturday and Sunday to study" I said giving him the puppy eyes that always worked on him.

he took a deep breath "fine but if your not back by midnight I'm tracking you down as a wolf and dragging you back" he said crossing his arms.

"thank you" I said hugging him and running out the door "Stella don't run your lungs" my brother said chasing behind me.

After a minute I couldn't run anymore I fell to to my knees clutching my chest I couldn't breathe.

"Stella" by brother yelled running up behind me and coming down to my level "here" he said handing me a breathing mask. after a few minutes I started to breathe somewhat normal again.

ever since I was born I'd always have this problem even as a wolf my lungs never healed and compared to a human my lungs are still shit.

"are you okay" Conner asked and I nodded

"come on let's get you to school" he said slowly helping me up and getting me back to his car.

we sat in silence for the duration of the car ride when we got to school I got out of the car "i guess I'll see you later Conner"I said then closing the door I'm walking into the school.

school day went relatively fast nothing really happened except for the annual idiots thinking they're cool but at this point I've gotten used to it.

after the school bell rang I met up with my two friends Abby and Emma.

"hey Stella" my friend Abby said walking over to me "we're still getting ready at my house right" Emma said "yep and I even slipped some clothes into my bag so my brother won't even know" I said to them "wait isn't that like the full moon or something and don't werewolves normally you know..." Abby said.

I rolled my eyes "actually we only transform on the full moon if we haven't transformed for a period of time" I replied "and when was the last time you went for a run" Emma said

"maybe a month ago" I replied "but I mean it's not like I can really run far anyway" I said

Abby and Emma were the only humans that knew about my secret I had told them my freshman year and they had taken it a lot better than I had originally thought.

"now come on let's go get ready we all know it'll take us forever" I said pulling them to Abby's car.

Abby drove to Emma's house and we ran up to her room and started to get ready I changed my clothes and put on a black crop top and a brown leather jacket with a pair of jeans and ankle boots with a 1 in heel.

I curled my hair and put on some makeup so that I would look a little more decent by the time we all finished getting ready it was already 6:30.

"I can't believe it's been 3 hours already"Emma said grabbing her bag "time flies by when you're getting ready for a party" Abby said and we all piled into her car again

by the time I got to the party it was already completely dark I guess that's to be expected for the middle of October though.

the three of us went into the house fashionably late and we walked to get drinks as everybody was all sweaty and dancing with the few occasional makeouts here and there

Emma grabbed the bottle of vodka "who wants a shot" she said and mean Abby agreed to it.

soon as I even realizing it it became 9:00 and I was trashed we had at least six shots of vodka and kept downing beer even as a wolf my tolerance wasn't the best.

I went up to the bathroom I decided I need to puke some of it out.as soon as I finished I walked out of the bathroom and I was pinned against the wall.

"let go of me Jake" I said trying to send a sober as I could "come on babe why don't we have sex for once" he said very slurred he was even more drunk than I was "I'm not having sex with you Jake we're not even together anymore now let me go" I said trying to push him off me.

"oh come on we don't have to be together to have sex" he said coming closer to my face to kiss me. I used my wolf strength and pushed him off me then ran down the steps outside I needed air.

as soon as I got outside I looked up at the Moon it was probably me being drunk that gave me the idea but I just said it I wanted to go for a run so I walked on the street to the dead end of the Woods and took my clothes off tying them around my waist enough so that they wouldn't be affected when I transformed.

when I changed into my wolf she felt so loose and happy I took off running not at full speed as to save my breath so that my lungs didn't have another attack.

I didn't even realize how far it ran it didn't feel long but eventually my move made me want to stop just before another territory border of a pack, and that's when I realized I had ran about 20 miles.

a transformed and put the clothes on that I had tied to my waist prior to running at this point I was pretty exhausted I'm surprised my lungs had even made it this far.

I sat down to take a break and after a few minutes I heard footsteps I quickly stood up getting into a defensive position and I smelled the air "rouge's" I said to myself. before I could even try to hide this spotted me and I ran into the territory.

I rent us four and as I could before I collapsed to the ground feeling as if I couldn't breathe. they caught up and one of them cried me by my throat and lifted me up.

"well what do we have here" the one rogue said looking into my eyes

as soon as the rouge disappeared from view we heard a scream "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh" the rogue holding me by my throat threw me to the ground "stay" he said but before he could take another step he was attacked by a huge black wolf dead on impact.

as soon as the wolf was done with him he turned to me my eyes wide but I didn't look away "Mate"... I said and the rest it's basically history that's how I got to where I am now.

sitting in a car next to the big bad Alpha King "What's your name?" he questioned keeping his eyes on the road "What's it matter" I replied "it matters because I'm your mate and you know my name" he said.

he was right I did know his name I mean for goddesses sake every one knew his name. he was The Anthony Williams the strongest wolf on the planet also known as the alpha King the stories told about him I heard don't even do him Justice it said he kills for the fun of it.

"your name don't make me ask again" he said turning to look at me then putting his eyes back on the road "Stella" I said short and sweet "no last name" he said raising an eyebrow "my name is Stella Woods" I finally said.

"well Stella Woods as you know I'm Anthony Williams" he said reaching for me but I flinched and he pulled his hand back "I won't hurt you" he said "I do draw the line somewhere" he continued "and where's that" I asked still looking out the window.

"you don't need to know that" he replied we spent the next few minutes of the car ride in silence until I decided to break it "I want to go home" I said sitting up "you are" he said bluntly.

"my home is not with you" I growled "your home is wherever I tell you it is" he replied

and that's what I made an extremely smart decision.

I noticed the locks were good enough for me to just be able to pull up, I quickly and unnoticeably pulled up the lock then as he wasn't even paying attention I opened the door and jumped out that's right he didn't even tell me to wear a seatbelt.

I jumped out and rolled and scraped my knees and arms I quickly got up and ran I heard the car screech as I continued to run I know wouldn't make it far but maybe I can make it a decent amount of feet after a few minutes of running I collapsed to the ground once again my lungs and complete pain I couldn't run anymore.

a clinched my chest and complete pain practically unable to breathe as I heard that his footsteps behind me "are you in fucking sane" he said getting in front of me "I was going 90 miles an hour" "I think you are for going 90 miles an hour" I replied still barely able to breathe and feeling as if I was about to pass out "what's wrong with you" he said is everything started to go dark around me "my lungs" was all I was able to get out before I passed out.

ANTHONY'S POV

"dammit" I said "shes in fucking sane" I bent down and tried to wake her up "Stella wake up c'mon" I said and nothing, I made the realization I you did to get her to a hospital.

so I quickly picked her up and ran her back to my truck and then drove as fast as I could to the nearest hospital.

I got her out of the truck and ran her inside "help" I said "she can bearly breathe" a few nurses and a doctor came out luckily it was our pack doctor so I knew she was in good hands.

I quickly put her on the stretcher that a few nurses brought out and they ran her in to a room and close the door so I couldn't see I didn't know why I cared so much for someone I just met mate or not and I sure as hell didn't understand why she would jump out of a moving car.

after a few hours of sitting in the waiting room the pack doctor came out and I stood up "how is she" I asked "well it seems she has respiratory distress syndrome it's normally found in new borns and not many have it for a life time" he said

"why did she never heal from it she's a wolf" I said in confusion "that I'm not sure about unfortunately but don't worry she should be fine but I do want to keep her overnight" he replied.

I nodded "can I see her" I asked and he nodded and took me to her room "I'll make sure no one disturbs you and your mate" he said with a wink then closing the door.

I guess it was pretty obvious.

STELLAS POV

I woke up to a somewhat dim light and a more or less white room I looked over to see him my mate but I can't say I was happy to see him.

"your awake" he said a subtle smile on his face I didn't say anything "why did you run when you knew this would happen" he said again tears started to well up in my eyes "answer me" he said starting to get angry.

he smiled "your feisty I like that" I couldn't help but roll my eyes "and your a douchebag" I replied "keep that up and we're gonna have problems sweet heart" he said through gritted teeth I leaned up to his ear "what are you gonna do kill me beat me you already said you wouldn't hurt me" I said.

he grabbed me by the throat and stared for a minute then threw me to the ground "get changed I'll go file your discharge papers" he said walking out of the room.

I got changed and eventually we made it out to his truck and headed for his house I assumed this time he took precautions so I didn't jump out of his truck and as precautions I mean he took the lock part out of my door so it would always be locked from the inside.

eventually we got to his house and that was really big the driveway was like a horseshoe with a fountain in the middle Rich much. as soon as he parked he came around open the door and grab me and pulled me into the house he took me upstairs to the last room in the hall and threw me onto the bed.

"here's what's gonna happen you will be my luna and you will be happy it might take a while but you will understand" he said laying on top of me.

I took a deep breath "I want to talk to my brother" I replied I knew either way I would have to be his luna we were mates the moon goddess chose our souls to be with each other forever.

"answer me first" he said "we both know that I can't run" I said and he got up off me and tossed me my phone "dont try anything" he said walking out of the room.

I looked at my phone and there were at least 100 missed calls from my brother so I quickly called him back.

the phone rang twice and he picked up "Stella where are you please tell me your safe" he said and I couldn't say a word "Stella please answer me" he said again "I found my mate" was all I managed to get out of my mouth

"what who is he where are you" he asked again "I'm in Kingston" I said with tears in my eyes.

"what" he said "how did you get there that's over 60 miles away "I ran and my mate he's um Anthony Williams Alpha of the Blood Moon pack" I said.

"he hasn't hurt you right" he said in a deep voice "no he hasn't" I replied "um I have to go I'll call you when I can ok" I said still trying to hold back tears "yeah I love you little sis" he said "I love you to Conner" and then we hung up.

after I dried my tears I walked down the steps into the the kitchen where Anthony stood cooking.

"how's your brother?" he asked stirring spaghetti sauce "how would you be if you just found out your sister was mates with the strongest Alpha in the country" I said leaning against the door way "it's the world actually" he replied I rolled my eyes "Whatever" I said

he turned around and walked over to me "listen" he said "I know what the stories say about me, that I kill just for fun and stuff but what they don't say is the truth to why I do it" he said.

I thought more a moment "why do you do it" I asked, he took a deep breath and walked me out to the living room where there were a lot of pictures of him and other people which I assumed as his family and friends. he rapped his arms around my waste and leaned his head on mine "because the things I did, I did to protect not only my family but my pack and now not only are you part of my pack but also my mate and my luna and that is the most dangerous job in the world" he said after a minute he slapped my *** and realised me from his hold.

"way to ruin the moment" I said crossing my arms "sorry" he replied "but I've got to finish dinner and really couldn't resist" he continued, I couldn't help but roll my eyes "dinners almost done I'll call you when it's ready so you can go explore if you want" he said walking into the kitchen.

I nodded although I knew he wouldn't see it and walked up the stairs, there were at least 10 rooms on this floor and I opened every single door.

the first 5 I opened were all guest rooms the 6th was a gym the 7th was a shower room the 8th was just a really big closet and the 9th and 10 were both doors leading to a library and of course I had to open it and go in.
