Reiner quickly turned his head towards my direction, abandoning his work. "What?"

"I said, I'm not going to the meeting Father organized." I said with clarity.

My brother's brows furrowed and completely turned his whole body now with his swivel chair looking at me like I need to explain something to him. "What do you mean you're not going? What's your reason?"

I deadpanned. "I just don't want to." I answered shortly. I have my own reason. But I don't want him to know. This guy sometimes a snitch, I hate it.

"Why?"

"I just don't want to." I replied with the same answer again. Why does he keep asking questions? This is so annoying like hell.

"Tch, if you have the plan of not attending the meeting, Father will surely scold the hell out of you. That's the same goes for Rachel too."

I frowned hearing him. It's just that I have a bad feeling about it, okay!?

I know I am the heir of the company but making an appearance on some business meetings of the company are so damn annoying. Facing some old businessman who was foolish and has a hunger for money. And plus, the meeting Father organized is very oddly suspicious.

Tch. Why does life keeps getting shittier when your adulting!?

I sat on his bed, doing a number four symbol leg position. "What's the connection of Rachel? She should mind her own business with her husband."

Reiner rolled his eyes hearing my statement towards our older sister. "You're just bitter!"

"I'm not! You are!"

"Yeah whatever, if that's keeping you sleep at night."

"Oh fuck off aniki." I said, raising my middle finger. He just chuckled and go back to his work. I also rest my back on the soft king size bed of Reiner and look at the white ceiling.

What should I do? Should I attend?

Or maybe not?

I frustratingly pull my hair getting so confused of what should I gonna do. My thoughts are mix up and it's very, very, very irritating to the core. I groaned when I heard my phone ringtone echoed in the room. I look at the side table where I put it and got up to answer whoever is calling right now.

"Moshi moshi? Raydine Izumi speaking."

["WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?"]

I quickly distance my phone from my ear when my older sister screamed. It was Rachel, my older sister I was talking about. And maybe her calling at times right now is very very urgent. Important and priority to be exact. Reiner also looked at my direction, probably hears Rachel annoyed tone.

"You should pray for your life." He commented afterwards and laugh slightly. I just glared at him to stop him talking.

Bastard.

"I'm at home, why?" I casually replied after I recovered against the scream.

["YOU'RE AT HOME!? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THERE?! YOU HAVE A BUSINESS MEETING FOR FUCK'S SAKE RAYDINE!"] I still move my phone away when she continues. I swear Rachel-nee is screaming her lungs out. God bless her vocal chords.

I heard Reiner then stifle a laugh. It's not even funny.

"I know that. I don't have any energy to attend my dear nee-chan. You're welcome," The other side then went silent.

["I didn't say 'Thank You.' You're taking the influence of Reiner so much."] Rachel stated on the other side causing Reiner to stop laughing. Now I am the one who is stifling a laugh.

"Hey!" Reiner exclaimed.

That's a real talk you got there!

["Oh he's there?"] Rachel asked.

"Yep." I answered and I need to stop laughing while looking at Reiner Aniki.

"["Oh, okay."] I let out my laugh. And Reiner frowned hearing Rachel. Poor him. He also glared at me which I did earlier! I now pull an Uno Reverse! I just chuckled when he glared at me causing him resentment and ignore me now, going back to his work.

"I'm sorry about that Rachel-nee." I apologize between words. "Did the meeting already started?" I tried. I have change my mind, I'll attend. Maybe it's really really really important so I consider it for once.

["You're going then?"]

I sighed, huffing my breath, nodding like can Rachel will see me. "Hmm...just this once."

Rachel then scoffed hearing me answer. ["You're unbelievable, yes? Y'know, being lazy businessman won't help this company and importantly you're an heir—"]

I tap the end button then toot, her voice is gone! Much better, she's talking more than nonsense.

"Rude." Reiner glued his eyes at his manuscript while giving his side comment.

I rolled my eyes. "It's not." I quickly stand up out of his bed.

I walk towards the door with my phone and my gorgeous airpords. "I'm gonna leave aniki, you can visit me in the company later," I joked, just to tease him harmlessly, remembering his past.

"No thanks❤️." He said in a sing-song voice.

I click my tongue and grins, now closing his door completely. I walk in the hallway of the mansion, Izumi Mansion, humming because I'm gonna make an outfit 'not-so-organized' picking. I want to be pretty decent.

At exactly on one pm, I step myself inside of the company receiving normal stares and of course polite greetings from the employees.

I rode the elevator until the highest floor since my office was located there. The hallways are empty of the floor of this building since few employees with high ranks can only go here. The meeting hall was actually on the floor below but why would Father organized the meeting in his office though?

"Ohayo nee-chan." I greeted when I have a glance of Rachel standing and leaning her body on the wall.

She frowned. "Good morning? You're late." Her strict voice made a sync with her arms, crossing.

I just rolled my eyes. "I am not. Where's Father anyway?" I ask changing the topic to stop her on her scolding session.

She sighed. "Inside," she then glared at me, "Did you know that he scolded me instead of you just because you're late?" Rachel said and massage her forehead.

"Nope, I didn't know. I'm not here earlier anyway," I replied with no care and put my hands in my pocket and tried to check inside the room.

"This bitch—" I heard Rachel cursed.

I didn't care and goes in first inside the office of Father with another businessman around his age. He and my Father was talking and beside the man is a guy, I don't know maybe the same age as me, had a light pink hair similar to the man I think his father. The guy maintain a poker face when I enter and made a short eye contact with me. But he didn't even bother to care to greet me. Like a complete stranger.

What's with the attitude? I slightly frowned.

He should know I'm the CEO's son and heir of this company! Tch!

"Oh you're finally here my dear son."

My gaze goes to my father as their attention goes to me. There are three person and plus me present in the room because Rachel didn't completely came in. I was confused. Is this even a business meeting? Where are the coordinators? Directors?

"Greetings Father." I greet and bow my head, completely clueless of what's going on. "I'm sorry I'm late," I apologize and walk towards my reserve seat still maintaining my composure.

Father made a small smile. "It's fine," he said and I made a smug face inside my mind thinking of bragging on Rachel and Reiner that I didn't get scolded. Hell, I'm Father's favorite. "By the way partner, this is my son and my heir, Raydine Izumi and Ray this is Hironel Kim, a friend of mine and my business partner." Father tap my shoulders and smiled at the man, presenting me.

The man named Hironel, smiled. "It's nice meeting you Raydine."

We made a handshake. "Yorushiku onegaishimasu." I politely said and the man just chuckled.

"You're very polite young man! He is very opposite to you!" He cheerfully said and face my Father who frowned a bit.

"Tch, you still didn't change." Father said and the man laugh.

My mind made a question mark. They look like really close. High school buddies until college, I guess?

"And so are you! By the way, this is also my son, Herleon, my only heir. Herleon, this is Raydine and Raydine this is Herleon." The man presented the guy and I just look at him awkwardly.

The fuck with the greetings?

"Nice to meet you." I shortly said, not even sure if it is polite or not.

"Likewise." The guy named Herleon replied, bored.

I eventually made a frowning face in my mind but I still faked a smile. Audacity.

I am completely clueless with this!

Then after a minute of talks with the awkwardness between me and the guy, the meeting started. It was all about partnership, projects and others and I just sat there listening attentively since Father will surely ask me later. I don't want to see any paperworks on my desk in my office again.

I secretly look at the guy who remained a poker expression on his face. What with him huh?

And why I am sticking my nose with his business? Hell, I should care about mine.

"So the union will happened next month."

Like a speed of the lightning, I look at the two mid-40s men because my interest was quickly pulled to of what they are talking. Did I hear that right? Union?

Union is equal to what I am thinking right now, right?

Marriage?

"I'll schedule it on the 10th of June. I think Raydine and Herleon will still make adjustments."

My eyes widened hearing my name, and also the guy, but he looks like he couldn't care less. I decided to open my mouth. "Pardon?"

The two of them looked at me. Then they look at each other. Then smiled afterwards.

Father clasp his hands and put it on the table, like a businessman dealing about business. "You're marrying someone Raydine." He said.

My eyes widened even more like I couldn't believe what I have heard. I am completely clueless and shock about the sudden reveal of information. I stand up and slam my hand on the table, catching their attentions. "What?! That's not included on our deal! We already talk about this Father!" I said, getting furious.

Yes, me and my Father had a deal years ago. And on our deal, marriage is not included. That's why I'm reacting like this! Marriage is annoying and it's very annoying!

I don't even tried being on a relationship. And now marriage?!

"Don't raise your voice on me, Raydine Izumi." I flinched. "We have guests." He gestured his hands towards the two sitting with us oppositely.

I huff my breath and bowed. "I apologize."

This is shit!

"Are you not embarrass showing that attitude of yours in front of your fiancee?"

"Do you mind, Herleon?" Father asked the light pink haired guy with an undercut.

Is this also the reason why Reiner gave up and declined being an heir?

"Father, you gotta be kidding..."

"I think he is still shock partner. Take it easy," Hironel said, smiling.

I look at the guy if he have a reaction about the revelation of marriage but he still don't express something! He is still silent! And plus, he looks like he also knew it from the very start.

I look at him unbelievably who also looks at me raising both his eyebrows and I am even frustrated even more! Why does he have no reaction?

ITS A GUY X GUY MARRIAGE!? WHY DOESN'T HE HAVE NO REACTION!? NOT PROTESTING ALSO!?

I am getting confused! Fuck!

"It's an arranged marriage for the union and partnership of both companies. The heiress of the Kim clan is still young that's why she can't do it, and Herleon here don't have any romantic involvements so it's fine. And Hironel and I have both decided to tied you on the knot. It still no big deal." Father emotionlessly explained.

NO BIG DEAL!? THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

"Ha..." I breathe and slick my hair back with my hands, still processing everything. "This is unbelievable Father."

"I am outta here." A baritone voice stated and my attention quickly shifts direction. It was him. Herleon finally speaks.

He got up and never bothered to say goodbye or look at us, he just walk towards the door, open it, goes out, and close then whoosh— he's gone.

He really has the audacity. But he's aura was powerful huh.

After the commotion he make, I quickly maintain my composure again and exhaled, sticking with my decision of no.

"I am..." I stop mid-sentence and look at Father and Hironel. "declining this marriage. I will now excuse myself Mr. Kim, Father," I bowed.

I turned my back, fix my suit and goes towards the door. After I walk out, I quickly find my phone to contact someone. I need advices right now.

While finding my phone, I saw the figure of Herleon leaning on the wall smoking a cigarette. Her emerald eyes glance at me with my light brown eyes as we made eye contact.

I look at the cigarette he is smoking on his hand and realized something. "Smoking is not allowed here. Haven't you read the rules?" I frowned, annoyance starting to conquer upon me.

He look at me for seconds before squishing the cigarette into pieces and I just look at it with poker face.

"It's gone." He emotionlessly show that it is really gone, like he was testing my damn patience.

"Tch." I clicked my tongue before dashing away from him since annoyance really conquered me now. I'm just holding myself back to punch him across the face.

I am regretting upon meeting him! His father is much better than him. I don't even know where did his attitude come from.

He really has the audacity!

"Damn." I cursed.

I need to call Rachel or Reiner right now.

Cause that damn Herleon is getting in my nerves.
