June moved next door when they were both 5 year old.
Aiden stood in front of her house, while June's father answered the door.

Really? Then where is she??

How about this? You go and invite your parents to our home for dinner and then you can meet June!

He tried subtly at first. Trying to gear her daughter's mind into her younger, former girly self by buying dolls and other toys
When that didn't work he started buying her clothes and sending her off to her Auntie's.
Once she was eleven, he only talked about the girl school.
