Being a student at one of the SKY universities, Korea University, I'm a little studious type of person. Also, being studious doesn't mean that I'm a boring person. I know how to have fun with friends and own my own too. I like watching movies... all genres are fun to watch, except horror... I hate horror!

Well, it's not that I am scared to watch them... it's just I don't feel good while watching them...

Music... Ahh~ I really enjoy listening to my favourite songs every once in a while. I am not much into kpop and prefer western music and singers like Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Madonna, Austin Mahone, Ed Sheeran... but I do know some groups like EXO, BTS, Twice, BlackPink, NCT, Infinite, SF9, VIXX, Astro, Apink, 2PM, T-ara, CNBLUE, Stray Kids, Got7, ATEEZ, SHINee, Itzy, LOONA... They are just few ones I know...

Now my most favourite thing — food.

I love almost everything when it comes to food... even thinking about them waters my mouth~ tteokbokki, gimbap, jajangmyeon, japchae, pizza, burger, pasta... just one condition, you need to cook for me! Ahh yes, I'm old enough to cook my own food but I'm too lazy to do so...

Ohh wait... Mianhae~ I forgot to tell you my name... I'm Choi Yoona, a 20 year old, quite and caring person...

I live in a dorm at the outskirts of the city. I just moved here a month ago, so I don't have many friends here... except  Seohyun(22) unnie, Hyejin unnie(21) and Minji(20)... they were the first ones to welcome me here with lots of warmth and affection... but yes, I'll make a lot of friends soon...

I wished to get along with others well but the summer break started too soon. Everyone went back to enjoy with their families. Hyejin unnie went to see her parents in Busan, Minji went back to Pohang, Seohyun unnie will also leave soon. Huh? Me? Well... my parents—

Seohyun: Yoona... Let's pack up. We need to go to Incheon soon...

Yoona: An-aniyo, it's okay unnie. I-I can stay here and—

Seohyun: You will get bored alone, so start packing up your things.

Yoona: But unnie...

Seohyun: Yoona, did you visit your friend's house during breaks?

Yoona: Yes, I did.

Seohyun: Then, am I not your good friend?

I was a little hesitant but finally agreed.

Seohyun unnie's family was glad to see me and welcomed me warmly.

Her mother, Mrs. Lee, cooked delicious food, of course some of my favourite dishes which unnie told her about. Her father, Mr. Lee, called me his second daughter. Too much?

Well, that's because he used to be my father's high school friend... yes, I just got to know it recently when I was having a video call with dad and Mr. Lee recognised my dad as his friend. Wow, what a coincidence... so, he is my uncle now, not just Mr. Lee...

It's been just a few days since I arrived here, but I already feel like I have known them for years now. Of course, I would have known them for years if my parents ever told me about them. *sigh*

Also, I talk to dad and mom over the phone every day or night, depending upon when they are free from work. Oh yes, they are not in Korea right now, they went abroad for some business and won't be back before a month.

It's Sunday today. I was sitting in the lawn and was immersed in my own thoughts. It has been a week now and I feel happy to stay at Incheon as I felt the real warmth and comfort of home, which lacked at my house because both of my parents usually went to business trips, and being the single child I was mostly alone at home since middle school. It's quite ironic as I was always alone but...

I hate being alone!!

*HONK*

I snapped back from my thoughts and saw a car infront of the house gate. A boy got out from it. He was kinda tall and had somehow well-built body, even his back looked handsome in his formal attire. Seeing someone this handsome and cool in this neighbourhood was quite unexpected...

I mean, I have been here since a week but never saw got such a person. I was curious to see his charming face, but as soon as he turned my curiosity vanished into thin air...

"What!! Him—?? No way... it can't be..."

Unnie came out of the house and was surprised to see him, "Huh? Why you did not inform that you are coming?"

He felt disappointed and pouted, "Wae noona? Am I supposed to inform that I'm coming home to see my family?"

He pouted? He looks so cute~ but wait, what did he say...

"Noona!!", I was shocked to know that and did not notice that I said it a little loudly. Oops...

He noticed me standing there in the lawn. Unnie also didn't know I was there. I felt uneasy and was about to turn around and leave. He approached towards me and smiled, "Hey~ Long time no see, HEADPHONES!!"

He still remembers that. I was surprised that he still remembered me, well, who remembers someone like me... I smiled back at him, "Ahh~ ne..."

Unnie too joined us.

"Huh? You guys know each other?"

Unnie was the most surprised one by now. She swayed her head from his side to mine and then back at him. There was silence for a short while.

He nodded and smiled, "Ne... we were—"

~~ Hmm... who do you think he will be? And what were they exactly? Let's see who will makes the right guess here... 😉

Jeno smiled, "Ne... we were friends in high school."

"Ne...", I nodded and smiled back.

Seohyun and Jeno went in first and I stood there trying to grasp what kind of situation I was in. I mean, I was friends with Jeno earlier during the first year of high school... but now he is a celebrity, a member of a well-known kpop boy group, NCT Dream~~~

Also, I was never in contact with him or anyone else from school later... I really don't know how to react. First, Mr. Lee turns out to be my dad's friend, and now, Jeno is unnie's brother... and most importantly, I'm staying at Jeno's house... NCT Dream Lee Jeno's house!! Woah... This all seems too... weird?

It was surely an unexpected and wonderful surprise for me, rather more shocking one, to be more precise. It's a little hard for me to judge whether this stay will be a peaceful one for me or not, as this person... yes, Jeno... knows a lot about me... he knows the secrets which I kept buried deep inside my heart and never wish to get them revealed to others. This reminds me of the first encounter with him.

~Flashback~

The exam time was near, everyone was busy preparing for it. You know how it feels like to be in high school... a lot of pressure and stress... huh... it's too tiring... I stayed back in school till late to study just like the rest as I needed to keep up my grades.

After school academy? That... I took a day off today to study on my own... self study is more important and effective right? I was pondering over some points written in my notebook and after few hours, without my realization, my sleep won over my will to study... funny huh?

I was in deep sleep dreaming about JUSTIN BIEBER when I felt someone's warm fingers brushing through my cheeks. Someone tapped on my shoulder and I woke up and saw two boys standing near my desk. Woah~ so handsome ~~~

I, half sleepy and half woken up, was admiring their faces when one of them spoke, " Don't wish to go back home tonight?"

I looked at my watch and, "SHOOT?? 10!!

I slept this long!! Ahh~ How can I sleep for this long?", I whined being totally annoyed by myself.

"Well, I was supposed to study... I took a leave for studying... and I slept... wow... I'm so great!! Congrats Yoona~ you completely wasted your time", I was busy complaining to my own self when I heard those guys giggling over how I was scolding myself.

I feel embarrassed now... I got up, gathered my stuff and hurried back home. I had my headphones on and played the music~ Let me love you~~~
