today was your 4th anniversary with jungkook.

lately he had been very busy with his comeback and barely had time for you.

which you made very clear to him,

so you practically begged him until he agreed to take you out today .

so you eventually managet to convince him ( though with much struggle ) to clear his schedule for today,

so you both could go out and have dinner together to celebrate your anniversary.

checking your appearance one last time in the rear - view mirror of your car,

you grabbed your purse as you stepped outside and inhaled the fresh air ,

smiling softly to yourself .

you were finally going to properly spend time with him again after weeks of waiting ,

and that's all that mattered to you at the moment .

walking inside the restaurant with a smile on your face .

the employee recognized you as jungkook' s girlfriend,

so the immediately led you to a private dining booth ,

isolated from the rest of the customers there.

you entered the room and spotted jungkook sitting at the table,

already eating his meal as he had his phone pressed to his ear,

talking to someone.

you frowned as you watched and stared for a second ,

upset he started eating without you ,

but decided to be grateful that he even had the time to make it to your date.

you sat yourself across from him ,

setting down as you picked up the menu in your hands .

your smile from earlier had faded a bit ,

but it was still there.

" yeah , I'll talk to you later,

she's here now ...... bye .

" he hung up the phone ,

placing it face down on the table as he offered you what looked like a very forced smile.

" who were you talking to ?" you asked curiously ,

glancing at his phone ,

but he quickly placed his hand on top of yours,

his arm covering his phone to distract you .
