I have 4 brothers and i am the only girl. Yes, we have a big family. My mom is like a baby making machine!

My dad used to tell me that they only wanted a pair of kids. A boy and a girl but after my eldest brother, my other brothers kept on popping until I finally came to this world.

Since young, I've been pampered. They treat me like a princess. My brothers? They are my entertainment. They have different personalities so they love me in different ways.

My eldest brother's name is Ethan. He is 16 years old. He is the referee whenever my brothers fight.

2nd brother is Edward. He is 13 years old and he is the most naughty one. He always fights with Evan.

3rd brother is Evan and 10 years old. He gets angry very fast especially to Edward that is why Edward will always annoy him to have fun.

4th brother is Link and he is 8 years old. He is always silent and would always just smile in the background. He behaves like eldest brother. He is like eldest brother's mini version!

And lastly, I am Eunice. I am 7 years old. They call me Niz or princess if they did something bad that will either makes me cry or mad like telling me they broke my dolls.

My parents are both businessmen. My dad have plenty of bars, clubs and beach resorts. My mom has a swim wear and clothing line. She is a great painter too! So sometimes, she use her painting ideas to print in her clothes. Sometimes they are not in the house and my eldest brother will be like our temporary parent when it happens.

That is my family! I love them so much eventhough they are abit annoying sometimes. I am happy and I feel so blessed to have been part of this loving and fun family.

Edwards running down the stairs.

Edward excitedly shouting, "Niz! Niz! Niz! Niiiiiz!"

Eunice eating her breakfast looked at his brother's flushed face and said, "Yes brother?".

Edward excitedly fixed his clothes and stand straight in front of her and started moving his body while singing, "My toes, my Niz, my shoulder my head! My toes, my Niz, my shoulder my head! Hahaha!".

"You think its funny?", I asked with annoyed face. He proudly answered, "Yes!" while smiling so big that I could count all his teeth. "Then let me tell you, eldest brother already left for school and you will be late if you don't leave now. Eldest brother told me that if you are late again in school your console, laptop and cellphone will be confiscated!", I said while sticking my tongue at the end of my sentence to payback for making fun of my name. Hmp! I hurriedly ran to the car that's waiting for me as I will be late too if I won't leave now.

Walking to my classroom, i saw my bestfriend Betty running towards me. "Good morning Niz!"

"Goodmorning Beth! Why are you running?"

She asked happily, "It will be your birthday on Weekend! What gift do you want?"

"I want sour strips!" I dreamily answered. I have always liked sour candies but my parents and brothers will not allow me to eat everyday.

"Okay! I will hide it in my pencil case and give it to you on your birthday. Your brothers will not notice it!" She smiled so triumphantly and my mouth became watery while dreaming of its taste.

I woke up from wet kisses of my brothers and parents.They shouted, "Happy birthday baby!" Then comes another wave of wet kisses. They squeezed themselves in my bed and hugged me tight. But it seems like I'm in my parent's room now. It has always been a tradition to spend the night together on birthdays or any other occasions like Christmas and New year.

My father carried me and said, "Baby, happy birthday! We love you so much! Do you want to open your gifts now or later on your party?" My mother throws herself to us and hugged us then said, "Baby, I have lots of clothes for you! You will be like a princess!"

I kissed my father and my mother's face and answered sleepily, "I will open it later." And fell asleep on my father's shoulder again.

"Okay. Okay. It's midnight and we need to sleep too so we won't look like zombies later in the party!" My father said will carefully putting me in middle of the bed.

My eldest brother Ethan turned off the light and went to the bed of my parents along with my other brothers.

10a.m in Eunice house.

"Baby, you look so pretty! You are so lucky to have my best genes in you!" my mom said proudly.

I stared in my reflection in the mirror. The clothes my mom made is so gorgeous like those in Disney princesses.

The door suddenly opened and Evan came jumping around while singing happy birthday to you.

"You sing like a frog!",Edward said on his back.

"Frogs doesn't sing. stupid!", Evan snapped back.

"They do! Look at you." He teased.

"Mom! Edward failed his math quiz. I saw it! Edward was so shocked his eyes are bulging.

"Enough." Ethan said then stared at Edward and added, "I will check your math quiz later."

Edward wilted in the corner. He's dead if his eldest brother saw his score.

"Brothers! Are these my gifts?", I asked happily while looking at the presents in their hands.

"Open it", Ethan said.

Ahh! Lots of dolls and clothes! I am so happy.

The maid knocked,"Guests have arrived Sir."

"Then lets go greet them!" my father said.

Before walking out of the door Link pulled my hands and gave me a round thing in a colored plastic. When i checked it, I became more excited.

Its sour strips!! Its crumbled like a ball but who cares about its appearance its my favorite!

"Shhh. Keep it fast." he said in low voice.

My energy is in its highest now walking to my party. I have candies later. Finally!

When I arrived, my classmates and my brothers friends are already in the venue. There's alot of foods, music, balloons, big bubbles, cotton candies, marshmallows, clowns and you can get a face or body paint. I have a colored deer shadow at the back of my neck. Same as my mom. I asked her before what it is and why she has it and she said, She has it to remind herself. And it means power, freedom and grace. I don't know what it means but I like it because it looks pretty.

My party ended with my friends receiving lots of giveaways from me. I'm wishing they go home fast so I can start eating my candies! I received sour strips from Link and Betty only. I need to be careful in eating it because if Edward and Evan saw it they will surely eat half or more than half of it! And if Ethan saw it, he will confiscate it and will only give me 1 or 2 strips if i try to be cute. No, i want them all!

When i finally freed myself away from my clingy parents, I ran straight to my room and locked it.

I excitedly opened the colored plastic from Link and the pencil case from Betty.

The stars dropped in my eyes as it twinkle when I saw my sour strips!

I put a strip on my mouth and it became watery upon hitting my sour taste buds then a bit of sweet from sugar coating on it.

Ah, this is heaven. I thank my parents for giving me a brother named Link and I thank God for creating sour strips.

I'm at my happiest now. I put another one in my mouth. Then I remembered, I should call Link.

I went out and knocked on Link's room. Link opened the door and I pulled him into my room and closed it again.

I took another strip and divided it into two and put one in my mouth and the other to Link. See how silent he is? He didn't even asked or protest. He didn't even like sour things. I can see it as his face become distorted when I forcefully put the half strip in his mouth.

I looked at him mischievously and asked,"Good, isn't it?" He stared at me and nodded.

"Hmp, liar. I can see in your face you didn't like it."

"Well, it is too sour."

I jumped up and happily hugged Link and said, "I am so happy Link! Thank you for the candies!"

The door suddenly opened and to my horror I saw the faces I don't want to see the most right now...

"I told you she will receive that sour strip candies from Betty!", Edward proudly say.

"Why you call Link and did not call me?", Evan asked sadly.

I want to cry but since I love them then I will share my favorite candies to them feeling aggrieved. "Here, take some. I was just about to call you. Don't tell Eldest brother."

Edward and Evan happily took it and took a handful of it in their mouth. I looked at it with heartache. I was eating it slowly to save for few days but looking at them it will be finished soon.

Edward took another handful again and I panicked. I snatched it back and shouted, "Enough. don't eat everything! Remember not to tell Eldest brother!"

"What not to tell me Eunice?"

No. No. No. My heart stopped and slowly looked at the door. My eldest brother looking in my hands.

"I'm looking for Edward." He looks to Edward and added, "show me your math quiz."

Edward looks so sad and walks slowly out of the door to his room. He thought Ethan has forgotten. Ethan is so strict, he thought to himself. He is stricter than their father. Then, his lonely back disappeared in Eunice room.

Ethan stared at him and then looked at me again and said, "Its your birthday so I will let it pass. Remember to brush your teeth thoroughly and floss."

"Yes brother!" And I happily jumped and hug him and added, "you are the best!"
