The date is 30th of November, 2020 and it is a beautiful morning where the sun

is rising, birds starting to sing and people starting to wake up and prepare to

go to work as usual. There is a man called Tom, Tom is a 25-years old who used

to be an Athlete but now he works in a company as a businessman. Tom recently

won a ticket to an Island known as “The Island of the Dead” and this Island was

made for people to enter a raffle and win tickets to earn a free 30 days of

vacation where they could spend their 30 days in 5 stars hotels, supermarkets

and shopping malls to visit, playground areas and so many fun stuff they can do

to enjoy their luxurious lives and the most important thing is that everything

they buy is for free! So after Tom found out that he won a ticket after waiting

for weeks, he jumped out of joy “Hell Yeah!” as Tom yelled louder which kind of

disturbed his neighbors in the hotel (he lives in a cheap hotel) as one of his

neighbor shouted “Shut up!” and Tom apologized “Oops! Sorry dear neighbor!

Hehe”.

Since Tom won the ticket, he decided to quickly check when is the due to fly to the

Island so he spent few minutes reading an email which he received after winning

the ticket that he must fly due tomorrow at 9 am or else he will miss the plane

so Tom got very excited and quickly started to wear his work uniform while

talking to himself happily “I won a ticket oh yes baby I won a ticket I will

enjoy a luxurious life for the whole December and see the biggest new year

fireworks in the country!”.

During the work, Tom wanted to speak with his boss to give him permission to go on a

vacation for 30 days and be back at work on January 1st or 2nd of 2021 and work better and he mentioned that he won a ticket to the Island of

the Dead and he will also win a prize of a $100,000 dollars if he can try to

achieve the top 10 best residents of the Island of the Dead for year 2020 by

participating in every activity and try to achieve top 10 spots in achieve of

them. Tom knows that his boss will not give him a long vacation so before he

enters the boss’s office, Tom thought of an idea that could convince him to

give him the permission to go to the Island so he made a deal that if he wins

the prize he will share 50% with his boss so his boss liked the idea and was

about to say that he can go but just before he say that he asked “But what if

you fail to win the prize?” so Tom replied “Then I will work double time or two

shifts in a day instead one as I am going to make it up for December” so his

boss started to think for a moment as he stares at Tom “Hmmm” and Tom tried to

cheer things up for him “Trust me boss I am good at playing those activities!

You will lose nothing if you let me go!” so his boss got convinced and replied

“Alright, you can go but don’t forget our deal!”. Tom got happy and rushed to

hug his boss “No hugging! I told you I hate hugging you!” says his boss, “I

don’t care! You can punish me later for that as long I am happy haha!” says

Tom. And so Tom spent the whole day finishing his work as usual and then he

decided to invite his friends to his hotel to celebrate his winning.

Tom invited 5 friends and their names are Jack, Mike, Jessica, Sarah and Don. Tom doesn’t

actually drink any type of alcoholic drinks so he gave his friends soft drinks

to drink “So it is true that you never drink any alcoholic drink?” says Jack,

“No, Jack” says Tom “I told you I don’t like their tastes plus I hate being

drunk as I might do something terrible in my life so I don’t want to risk doing

that”. Then Jessica asked Tom if they could see the ticket so Tom gave her the

ticket and all the 5 got close suddenly to have a quick look at it as Jessica

started to read them what it is written in the ticket, it surprised her that

Tom is allowed to take up to 4 people with him (to be 5 in total) and without

any cost! Tom didn’t realize that this was mentioned in the ticket as he

probably didn’t pay attention due to his excitement and being busy at work

today so his friends begged if they could go with him but one of them has to

stay as they are 5 people and only 4 can go with him and that put Tom in a

situation where he has to think “Yeah sure but I can only choose 4 of you so

that means one of you has to stay here hmm….” And his friends started to look

at each other as they started to have a quick conversation to see who should

stay here so they decided to play Rock, Paper, Scissor game against each other

in 2v2 mode as the winner will stand by Tom’s side as it means that he/she will

go with Tom while the loser has to try with new opponents. Jessica was against

Don and won as the first winner so she stood up happily “yay!” and walked

quickly to Tom and stood there while watching the others continue to play

against each other. So Don played against Jack and again he lost as Jack won

and Jack stood up “I win as always bro” says Jack while Mike was against Sarah

but Sarah won. So in the end, only two people left (Don and Mike) and everybody

started to cheer them up as some of them said “you got it this time Don!” and

the others said “Go ahead Mike!” and Don started to get furious that he does

not accept any defeat anymore so he did his best and won as everybody started

to yell “Yeah man!!! Congratz!” which caused the neighbor again to yell “I said

shut up!” as they all ended up quiet (funny moment).

After that, they tried to cheer up Mike “don’t worry, maybe next year if one of us gets a

chance to win a ticket” says Tom “Oh, you can live in my apartment until we

come back so that means you can enjoy free food and sleeping so you don’t have

to pay for your rent this coming month.”, “Oh yeah that is a good idea Tom”

says Sarah, “At least you still get a reward even after losing so you should

still be happy even though not too happy hehe” says Sarah sarcastically. Mike

then asked Tom if he could also use his Play Station 5 console while they are

away so Tom replied that he can do whatever he wants as long he keeps the

apartment clean and avoid any necessary trouble which made Mike agree to accept

the deal.

So the 5 friends (Tom, Jack, Jessica, Sarah and Don) set to head to the Airport and the

Plane started to get off exactly at 9 am and these 5 people were very excited

to visit and discover the Island as one of them started to become impatient and

ended up making cheerful noises “HEHEHE I can’t wait to see those hot chicks

there!” says Don, “SHHHH!, could you keep it quiet please?” says one of the

passengers, “Sorry! Just two excited!” replied Don.

Then the Island started to appear as they looked through their windows as Tom started to

say “My $100,000, here I come!” as the Plane started to approach the Island

even closer until it landed safely. As they got off the Plane and head to the

exit gate of the Airport, they met the Island’s tutor who greet them “Welcome

to the Island of the Dead! Here you will find a luxurious life with joys and

happiness. My name is Jane and I am going to be your tutor. The bus is waiting

for you to ride on and we will spend time together discovering the Island together.

Please follow me and thank you”. As everyone ride on the bus and through their

windows they see everything that is available and the tutor is explaining them

one by one and Jessica is becoming very excited to see what is available on the

Island as she is taking pictures and sending them to Mike and Mike wishes he

was there as he cries like a silly boy. After the tutorial ended, the final

stop was the hotel where everybody got off the bus and the hotel servants came

to pick up their luggages and each room serves each group (where the winner can

choose up to 4 people to stay in one big wing (as they will live in a wing

hotel) so that means each group for each wing. As the 5 friends enter their

wing, their mouths go wide open out of surprise “WOW!” and see 5 big beds where

each bed in each bedroom, accompany with 1 bathroom in each bedroom,1 big

living room with a huge plasma TV with size of 72 inches and an outstanding

balcony view where they can see the whole Island. Tom feels odd as he starts to

ask the tutor “It is strange that you guys named this Island as the Island of

the Dead, could you explain that to us please?” and the tutor replied “Oh yes,

it is because there was a rumor that there used to be an army here during the

WW2 where they camped here and created a secret lab in the underground doing

some tests to create ultimate Soldiers but the experiments failed and then a

decade later, some travelers discovered this Island and found the army camp to

be empty and then as they continued further, they found a hidden gate as they

tried to open but they couldn’t so they head back to where they came from and

ignored this mystery quest. But we did not actually believe in this because

there was no proof that they did experiments or people got killed or disappeared

or something like that because later on the Government declared that the camp

was abandoned due to their defeat so yeah. But because the rumor sounds scary,

as we watch horror movies that this could mean that a zombie apocalypse

occurred so the company decided to turn this Island into a home of zombies! As

we create festival and zombie parties every year on this Island to remember

that this Island used to be creating ultimate soldiers which according to some

theories (creating zombies!) but yeah we don’t actually believe that since

there was no proof but at least it is fun to celebrate one just like how we

celebrate other events like Halloween and Christmas!”, “ Ah, ok.” Says Tom,

“Thank you for your clear explanation Jane.”, “No worries!” says Jane. And then

Jane asked if they needed anything else before she heads off and then told them

to take rest for the night because tomorrow is going to be a big day. As

everyone starting to prepare for sweet dreams, an unknown and strange man (who

travelled with them through the Plane) was outside the wing hotel along with

his group where each of them carry a briefcase with strange looking faces as

they are heading to the spot where the mysterious gate is which leads to the

underground area of the Island. As they walk and walk until they arrive to the

gate “Ok everyone, time to work” and they start to study the gate to find a way

to open it.
