During the holidays, Andrew, Macey, Trixie, Celine, David, and Sherwin once spent the night playing scrable and word factory game. Andrew was Trixie's elder brother, Celine and David are their cousins, Sherwin and Macey are their friends.

While playing scrable, Andrew and Macey get annoyed.

" You are very deceitful!" Macey said to Andrew

"Hahaha!" Andrew laugh out loud."Because you are lost you are annoyed with me!... Loser!Loser!" Andrew replied angrily to Macey

At the same time, the other friends looked at each others with a teasing smile.

"There seems to be something strange between the two of you now" Trixie smiled teasingly to Andrew and Macey.

"I noticed that you two are always arguing even in simple things." David added

"How come, Andrew is always cheating in the game. He's so annoying!" Macey replied

Andrew rolled his ehes while laughing.

"Isn't it that you two were best friend, always together, then you are still fooling around? Sherwin asked teasingly.

"Mmm... I smell something fishy huh..!" Trixie added While Celine is silent but with a teasing smile.

"Well, it's up to you guys, I don't want to play anymore, I'm sleepy now!" Macey stand up and about to leave

"Hey sis, I don't believe that you're sleepy, maybe you're just avoiding someone?! As they say, that's how it is when you like someone. Sometimes you feel embarrassed when you face him, or sometimes you got annoyed, but deep inside you really want to be with him! Oh, Is that right?! Maybe you liked my brother, . Do you have a crush on him? Trixie asked while smiling.

Macey got blushed,. She feels that her face seems to be red and hot as chilli. She didn't know what to say.

"Oh, sis you're blushing!" Even though you didn't admit it,. Maybe what i said was true, huh?! Trixie said to Macey

" Wow, Brother, Maybe she had a crush on you! Do you like her too? she asked to her brother.

Andrew '-' narrowed his eyes

"Yuck! Never!" Be shouted angrily

Why would I like her? What will I like about her huh?! Look at how she looks, brown complexion, curly hair,. she looks like the ugly Kirara in thr TV show!" Andrew said with a mocking face.

Friends were stunned with what Andrew said about Macey.

Macey didn't know what to say to Andrew. She didn't know how she would feel about what Andrew said about her. She was very embarrassed. Macey preffered to leave.

Meanwhile, Macey has about to leave when Aunt Eva arrived. Aunt Eva was carrying freshly cooked chicken noodle soup.

"Oh, why are you leaving?.. Come, share the delicious chicken noodle soup i cooked. Eat while it's hot." Aunt Eva said

"Wow! It looks yummy! All friends said.

"Then hurry up and eat!" Aunt Eva said

" After you al eat, stop playing huh?!, Clean up and wash. Go to sleep. Tsk, Tsk! Young people, what time is it. It's not good for your health to always lack of sleep at night." She added

Yes Aunty, We will follow! All answered at he same time.

"Thank you very much Aunty Eva, You are reallg very good to us. You're the best AUKnt in the world!" Trixie said to Aunt Eva with tenderness.

"Uhmmm, You still teasing me!" Eva said "Alright, finish your meal, and then go to sleep huh?!, she added

Yes tita, We will! Thanks for the food!" They answered.

While eating, Celine, David Trixie, and Sherwin chatted happily. On the other hand, Macey and Andrew are quietly eating and not paying attention. Even though, the chicken noodle soup is delicious, Macey did not seem to taste the food.

"Hey sis , Why do you not seem to be eating your food?" Celine asked to Macey " Aunt Eva's cooking is delicious, go ahead, taste it! Aunt Eva wil be upset if you dont finish it"

" I have no appetite" Macey replied

"Well, She doesn't want to eat because she seems to be broken hearted right away!" David said jokingly

Everyone laughed except Macey.

"Can you stop? It's not funny anymore!" Macey shouted angrily.

"The disgusted loser! Andrew said.

"Why is your head hot? It's just a joke, isn't it? You are always angry, go ahead, you look even uglier then." Andrew said sarcastically.

" Wow! Someone spoke a feeling handsome in itself"!

Macey's tears began to flow. Even she holds it back, she can't do it.

"I know you are handsome, you looked good, your complexion is even smoother than mine.

Therefore, many women were chasing at you."

As for who I am, I am just a scumbag daughter of a poor, brown complexion, curly hair and filthy, in one word, Ugly!" Even though, she tried to stop herself from crying, her tears continued to flow. She could not understand herself why she was so emmotional now. She coldnt control herself.

"I know were friends. And I thank you for being my best friend. But to tell you honestly, I will admit, I was wrong, it was my mistake that i admired you."

Andrew lingered on what Macey had said. He was stunned and didnt know what to say.

while others were also stunned, and Macey was really pitiful.

"You are so pathetic! Can you stop crying? Sure you'll be the best actress in the Famas Award" Andrew said with a annoyed face.

"That's enough! You are too serious about our conversation , we were just joking earlier.Thats okay, . Just kidding, do not take it personally." Trixie said . Bht she felt the tension between the two best friends. She still regrets that sbe would not have joked before.

Andrew left suddely.

Macey has calmed down.

Other friends were silent, not knowing what to say. They felt sorry for Macey.

But Sherwin broke the silence.

"Hey! What's up guys? What are you up to? Do you still plan for us all to sleep here together? Because if you don't, I will go home now.

Due to unexpected tension between Andrew and Macey, other friends agreed not to continue the overnigth stay at Andrew's house. Sherwin called their family driver to pick him up beacause it was late at night and their house was far away from Andrew's village, so it was not safe to walk alone.

When the driver arrived, he asked to Celine if she wanted to accompany him in the car.

"Hey, Celine do you want to accompany me in the car? If you want, I will take you home." Sherwin said to Celine

"Oh, Yeah, sure! Alright, I'll go with you." replied to Sherwin.

"Oh, then, We will leave you there. We will go home first. See you again guys! " she added

" Macey don't take it seriously. Huh?! Goodnight! See you again! " Sherwin talked to Macey

Yes, of course! Thank you for your concern!" Macey replied

"Bye guys! Be careful on the road. Send me a message when you arrive, Goodnight!" Trixie said to Sherwin and Celine.

Sherwin and Celine left.

Meanwhile, Celine and Macey stayed in the room. Beacause Macey and Trixie share a bedroom. Macey lives in Trixie's house because she was addopted by Trixie and Andrew's parents. Their family support Macey's studdies.

Trixie noticed that Macey was stunned, not knowing what to think.

" Hey sis, What do you want? Let's go to sleep or let's talk first? Trixie asked Macey

" Friend, Can I?.. I'm sorry if I bothered you." Macey replied.

"Yes of course! For what our friends are for, huh?! Come on, tell me! What's on your mind? Emmm?? I will listen to your story even it will spend the whole night. Hmmm?! Trixie Smiled to Macey and said excitedly.

"Sis, I'm confused, I don't know what to do, I feel lime a fool.Why did I even say that to your brother.? It is really embarrassing!" Macey said

"So does that mean that what you said earlier is true? Do you realy fell in love with him? Trixie asked in surprised

"Of course not! That is not what I mean.

Yheap! That's all, nothing else! Macey answered to Trixie.

I just admired him for his kindness to everyone. He is really such a good person, God- fearing, diligent in all things especially in spiritual work! Macey added.

Trixie smiled teasingly to Macey,. She approached Macey and held her hands and talk to Macey with pleasure, "In other words, He is your dream guy? Am I right? "

"Of course not, that's not what I mean."

Macey suddenly blushed. She feel ashamed to Trixie. She didn't know what to say.

She couldn't help but look at Trixie's teasing look.

Oh, really! huh!?. But it's not what I see. I feel that you really start to fall for him?! Am I right? Trixie asked naughtily.

"Not really! Promise, I just really considered him as a best friend of mine. Believe it or not, that's all bow i feel for him, and nothing more than that." Macey replied firmly.

"Okay Fine, don't worry, Macey I believe in you!

Keep this in mind. Whatever happens, I will support you. Promise! I am always by your side. Just call me if you need anything, or if you need someone to talk to. You know that you can trust me. Do you Remember what what I've always told you? I consider you more than as a friend, but as an older sister of mine! Hmm" Trixie said with sincere heart.

"Okay, Then, lets go to sleep." Macey said

As I've said, Don't take it seriously. Don't think too much, just ignore wbat happened earlier. Don't pay too much attention to what brother Andrew said about you huh?! You know him, don't you? Sometimes he is so funny, but somtimes he's so annoying for being so insane, he's crazy! Hahaha..!" Trixie said foolishly

Then lets go go sleep. I'm feeling better now. Thanks to you my little sis! You're such an angel in disguise! Goodnight! Have a Sweet dream!" She added

" Well, sweet dreams to you too,. heheh!" Trixie answered teasingly.

Macey was touched by what Trixie said. She really felt the kindness of the Andrew and Trixie's family. They considered her as a member of the family.

Thefefore, Macey is very grateful for their kindness. She considered that this Monteverde Family as a blessing that

God has given to her. So in return, she tried her best to reciprocate the kindness shown by the Monteverde Family to her. She strives to be a responsible child. She volunteers to help in household chores even theres a lof of maids at home. And when she went home from school, she help to take care and manage some bussiness matter such as recording the incoming deliveries and outgoing farm supplies. Andrew And she was also work together for taking care the records of all the farmers harvests. Andrew was the one who counts and weigh all the harvests and she was the incharge for taking down the records of each farmer. They also manage the wages of the workers and the farmers on tbeir vast farms.

They were almostalways been together.They eat and almost sleep together,. They both go to the farm where someone is reapping. Watching movie, and played video games together. They agree on almost everything!

Except for the school they attended. Andrew was enrolled in the popular private school in their province, while Macey preferred over public school. But even so, Andrew still accompanies Macey in his car when they go to school because they can pass by Macey's School first. Everyday that God has made, that is what they were used to be.

Andrew is very thoughtful and tender to Macey.Sometimes he is strict with Macey especially when engaging jokes or laughing wigh other male workers.

But nevertheless, Andrew was very cheerful,even in a simple matter. Although he was a son of a wealthy family, and he grew up in luxurious lifestyle, he was able to get along with their workers. Andrew is very humble and low profile. He is really such a person with a good heart. And that is all the characteristics of him that Macey admired him the most.

"Cockkkcockacockkkkkk!!!" Roosters are crowing.

Maceys thought was interupted by the crowing of roosters. It was already 3:00 o' clock in the morning.

Episode 3.

Because of Maceys deep thoughts, she did not realize the passage of time. It was almost dawn, but she was still awake.

"Oh my God! What's happening to me? What was I thingking?! Shocks! Macey whispered to herself." I can sleep even for a moment", she added

Her eyes glazed no Trixie who was sound asleep.

Macey closed her eyes and forced herself to take a nap. Untill she fell asleep..

5:00 o'clock in the morning.

Trixie's alarm clock ringing....

Although she still sleep, Trixie got up from bed, took the alarm clock and she reset it on another 1 hour.

She stared at Macey who was fast asleep.

"It was good that she fell asleep as well." She was so miserable! " She said softly

She finally stood up.

Trixie streched her body and exerxise for a few minutes to awaken her spirit. Then she rested for a moment and went straight to the bathroom.

After she took a shower, she noticed that Macey was still sound asleep.

"For the first time, i woke up earlier than her now.! Trixie said softly

She did not wake up Macey, instead she let her to sleep soundly. She walked slowly out of the room so as not to disturb Macey on her sleep.

As she went down the stairs and she saw their two maids who was busy with the household chores. She greeted them with a sweet smile. " Goodmorning Ana! Goodmorning Liza! What a busy day, huh!?" She said to them

"Goodmorning to you too!" two house maids greeted her at the same time.

Wow! Infairness, why did you wake up so early today? it's unbelievable! heheheh! Where is Macey? the other maid said to her.

"Do you have a plan today that's why you got up in bed so early? Are you going somewhere?" Old maid Liza added.

"Macey is still sound asleep. Well, i wish we could still fulfil what we had plan to go to tbe beach today... but unfortunately, it seems like we will not able to continue our departure. I don't know, Im not pretty sure!" Trixie said bluntly

"I just wake up by the sound of that noisy alarm clock that Macey set last night. I was still drowsy but I felt hungry so I decided to got up too." She added.

The whole Monteverde Family treats all the maids and all workers kindly. They treat everyone with respect and affection. That's what they used to do.

"Is the breakfast ready?" Trixie asked

"Yes, Aunt Mercy has already cooked breakfast,". Ana replied

So Trixie left and headed to the kitchen.

Meanwhile the alarm clock rang again.

macey suddenly woke up. She was suddenly surprised when she saw that tbe sun is shining bightly. She slept soundly so she did not realized the time. She still feel drowsy, She stretch her body while yawning. She glared to Trixie's bed and she noticed that Trixie was no longer in bed. So she hurriedly get out of her bed and go to the bathroom. She quickly took a shower and got dressed.

"Uhhhhmmm.. I'm still sleepy!" Macey said while yawning. What the hell did I do last night? I'm really stupid! Haissst!... She said sadly.. How could I faced them now? What should I do? She talked to herself.

She was anxious in the room. She doubts wether she will leave or not.

Eventually she decided to come out.

She headed to the kitchen. She caught up Trixie in the kitchen and she had just finished having breakfast.

"Hey sis, Goodmorning! Finally you're awake!" Trixie greeted Macey

"Hi, Goodmorning! You wake up first today huh?!" Macey said. "Yhup!" Trixie replied to her."

Macey prepared coffee and toasted bread with butter for her breakfast.

"Hmmm. It smell deliciuos! Come, let's eat! " She invited Trixie to eat.

"Go ahead, I'm done. I will just accompany you here, she said.

"Okay fine!" And Macey started to eat. While Trixie play games on her celphone.

After Macey finished her meal, Trixie talk to her.

"So, what now? Are we still going to the beach?" She asked to her.

"Well, I don't know,.. Just asked the others. Im not feeling well, Im not sure if I will accompany on you guys. Call, and asked them first if they would still go " she answered.

"What?! Why don't you come? oh com' on! Alrigth, sis just come along please. The group will not be happy without you, and you know that!" Trixie pleaded to her sincerely.

"Im not going, Im not feeling well, I'm lazy to travel. You guys go first! I want to go back to our room and sleep more." Macey replied firmly.

"Okay fine!" Trixie '_'

Supposedly, they would have planned to go in the beach. Thats why they spent the nigth together so that they would wake up early and prepared to leave early. But beacause of the apparent misunderstanding between Macey and Andrew last night, they may not able to continue to go.

Macey proceeds to the warehouse.

She has complied the list of invetories of released farm supplies by the farmers. And then she instructed the workers to fix and checked the rest of the farm supplies.

"Hey, Lady Boss, Why are gou alone? Where's Boss Andrew? You used to go here together before." Benny talked to her.

Because Macey has something else in her mind, She didn't hear that a worker was talking to her. Macey could barely understand what the worker was saying. A worker startled her jokingly.

"Boooommm!!! Wake up dude!!!! Mar- one of the workers shouted teasingly.

"Hahahaha" the workers laught out loud.

Macey was startled in shock.

" you're so crazy, you are really so annoying!" She shouted angrily!

"Sorry sorrry! I'm just kidding! Why youre so seroius. Just chill!, the worker said while laughing.

" Well, I'm not in the mood to make fun with you. I just came here to arrange these things in order. So that when Mommy arrived it won't be messy there.So, hurry up and finish what youre doing." she said angrily.

"Why is she so hot headed today? She used to be not like that before." the worker muttered

The workers are seriously go back to their works until they finished.

It was already noon when Macey got home She went stright to her room. She didnt find Trixie in their room.

"Where's Trixie, Why she's not here? Did they continue tha plan to go to the beach?" She asked to herself.

Macey took a bath first and after she got dressed she lay down again on her bed..
