The Bitch And The Freak

Episode 1

*Blair's Point of View*

“Hey, bitch! Watch it!” I yelled at the dumb human who just bumped on me. And guess what? Unfortunately, she fell on the floor with all her coffee splashed in her dress. What a weak creature.

“What the hell!” She cursed as she gets up on her own. Why would I help her? She's the one who bumped on me. I'm the victim here.

I kept my phone in my jacket's pocket, and I just raised an eyebrow at her. I'm about to turn around when she speaks again or should I say yell or shout? She's losing her temper, and I think that I'm in tiny trouble here. Should I exit now?

“Lady, are you not going to say sorry?” Okay, she's mad and I kinda liked it. Her face is turning so red, and I'm laughing inside. I will just laugh at it later.

“Sorry, but it's not my fault that you fell on the floor with your coffee all over your dress,” I countered and rolled my eyes. I'm sorry, babe, but I'm not sorry.

I turned around to leave this bookstore/library/coffee shop, well I don't know what place is this. And what am I doing here actually? Oh, I remember now. Marge told me to buy a vegan recipe book. I'll just tell her that I didn't find it here, since someone is about to spit fire at me.

Before I turned around, I saw her beyond-angry-face. I think this is going to be fun.

And as what I have expected, she grabbed me by my right shoulder with her sticky hands that is coffee flavored.

'Shit!' I cursed on my mind while trying to keep my cool. She is just a little human, Blair. Relax.

As I faced her, I gave her a what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-you look. And she blurted out.

“Don't you know that a passageway is for the people who are passing to it and not for the people who stand on it?” She sneered and I just stood there unmoved. And yeah, her face is so red that I could laugh at it all day. Did I mention that already? She's just so cute. Nope, not really. Maybe a little bit.

“And for you to know, Blondie, I was just standing here and you were the one who is walking, and then bumped on me. So, it was not my fault.” I said while emphasizing that I am still in the same spot on where I was standing earlier. I need to defend myself. It would not have happened if she was just not so clumsy.

Honestly, I feel a little sorry, though. She looked like shit right now with coffee stains on her dress. Poor little human.

Well, she is trying to make herself calm. And then she speaks again after three long seconds of silence.

“Do you know whom you are messing with?” She asked in a calm tone of voice and stared at me in the eyes with her electric blue eyes.

Why the heck would I care to know if who she is? The only human I know around here is Marge.

“And do you know who I am, who is messing with you?” I responded with the same tone of voice and stared at her eyes with my green ones. And that's the start of the staring contest. I looked deep into her eyes and deep down to her soul, and... Boom! She looked away while rolling her eyes. Hah, I won!

“You don't know what you are dealing with,” she said in disbelief and crossed her arms on her chest. Well, I don't know you, so, back off, bitch.

“Oh, is it very necessary to know whom I'm messing with? And for your information, I mess up with everybody who gets in my way. So, just move along. Now, you are the one who is blocking my way.” And with that, there she gets angry again. Why is this human so short-tempered? Is she in her period? Oops, I should not think about blood. Damn it.

“Ms. Winsley, is something wrong going on in here?” A woman asked that is about mid-forty and handed her a small towel. She turned her gaze to me and looked at me sharply.

Hmph, that ain't gonna work on the sticky coffee on her dress and arms. Silly human, I'm not afraid of you.

“Thanks, Mandy. And please, put this girl in front of me in her right place.” The bitch said as she points at me. Woah, am I kind of a thing that is misplaced? These people are hilarious.

She takes the towel and was about to walk away when the woman named Mandy turned to me and said,

“Lady, you better not mess with the owner of this establishment or I have to call the police.” I silently chuckled at her statement.

There's nothing more stupid than them. Call the police? What did I do? Murdered someone?

“Hey, old bitch, for you to know, it is your owner who bumped on me. So, back off, or you will know the real me, and I bet you won't like it even a bit.” She turned to her owner, yeah, that bitch with blonde hair and electric blue eyes owned her. This old woman is a worker here, I guess?

The girl turned to me again and before she could speak, I stepped closer to her, till our faces are four inches away. I'm so tired of this already and I want to go home so I can sleep.

I stared deep into her blue eyes to warn her that I am not afraid of whoever she is.

“So, you are the owner of this place? And what do you expect me to do? To bow on to you like you're a queen, and do everything you say?” There it goes. I lost my temper. I'm so pissed already. Why am I wasting my time here?

She seemed stunned upon hearing my words, and I can see through her eyes that she was about to explode too. Okay, let's see what you got.

“We are not yet done, freak. We will meet again and I'm going to make sure that you will kneel in front of me.” She said trying to calm her voice so she will not sound angry.

I grinned as her statement registered to my mind. That sounds interesting.

“Alright then, I can't wait to see you again. By the way, it was nice meeting you.” I said while staring at her eyes, and turned around and leave before she could say anything.

I walked confidently through the doors wearing a big grin on my face. 'Stupid humans.' I thought.

“You will pay for this, freak! I'll remember your face and I will make sure that you won't get away with this. You...” I heard her yell, but I did not pay attention to her. I just went straight to where my motorbike is parked.

“So, I'm in debt with that bitch? How much could that dress cost? Why the hell I care? We'll probably not see each other again.” I mumbled as I wear my helmet and then drive home.

'She looks gorgeous, though'. Nah, erase that. She's a total pain in the ass.

Episode 2

*Blair's Point of View*

“Shut the hell up, you, fucking clock!” I shouted as the alarm clock turned into pieces as I threw it to the wall.

Monday, and I really hate this day. But no matter how I hate it, it still came.

“What was it, Blair?” Marge yells as she hurried to my room and came in. I just buried my face in my pillow.

“Okay, you just broke your clock.” She said, and I'm sure that her hands are on her waist even if I'm not looking at her.

“Yeah, that thing is so noisy,” I replied sleepily.

“Get off from your bed now, young lady, or I have to pull you out of it myself.” Argh, here she goes again.

“Can I just not go to school Marge? I still want to sleep, you know.” I know she wouldn't listen to me.

I opened my left eye and I saw her raising an eyebrow.

“Please?” Alright, I need to beg her with my best puppy dog face.

“No! Get up now and take a shower, you stink. Food is ready downstairs.” She said and turned to leave my room. Ugh.

“And don't even think of sleeping in the bathroom.” She added and went out of my room.

“Argh, fine.” I got up and do the morning rituals.

Marge is not my mother, I think she's my mom's best friend or just somebody who took good care of me since I was born. Well, I don't know who my mother is. I never saw her face and I don't know what she is. Marge told me that she died upon giving birth to me. And my father? Well, I don't know either.

I have been bullied when I was young because of my family. They said that I was a killer. A mother killer. Shit, was it my fault that she did not know how to give birth and she died?

I did kill people, a lot, way back in Transylvania. But they are just the crazy vampires and werewolves who want to kill humans to suck their blood and ease their thirst. I never killed a human for blood. Marge provided me blood bags from hospitals. But now, I don't have to drink blood every day since Marge gave me this necklace. She said that it was from my mom, and she told her to give it to me when I turn eight.

Well, I'm a human now. And that's because of this necklace always hanging on my neck. It has a small crystal-like rock on it and I guess it has a magic spell to make me human. I am paler when I'm a vampire and I got red eyes, and brown hair. And I got green eyes and still brown hair when I'm human. I stand about 5'8” in height and have a normal body.

---

I walked down the stairs with my backpack in my right hand. And I sat down on my chair while staring at my food.

“Marge, do I really need to eat this thing?” I asked her as she sipped her coffee.

“Yes, honey, it is what they call bacon and eggs.” She answered, and then stood up to wash her mug and plate at the sink as she finished her breakfast.

“Why do people eat this kind of shit?” I asked her in disbelief.

"Watch your language, Blair.” Yeah, we got a deal that if we're already here in the USA, I shouldn't curse or anything. But I can't help it.

“Sorry,” I apologized and nudged the bacon with a fork.

“It's because it is what they are used to eat. Finish off your breakfast, and we are going to leave before we get late to school.” She said as she looked at her wristwatch. Both of us need to go to school because I'm in my senior year now.

I moved here from Transylvania two weeks ago, and Marge is a teacher at the school I was enrolled in. Well, she's the one who enrolled me in that one hell of a place.

She left me at Transylvania or should I say I made her leave me there when I was 14, and now that I am 17, she decided to get me there and I have to live with her here. It is also because she wants me to experience life, human life. And I just hope that I will enjoy this.

"Um, Marge can I just eat an apple instead,” I asked her.

I just don't like this kind of food. Call me vegetarian but I would never eat their food. I'd prefer cereals and vegetables and others that aren't meat, it tastes just like cardboard to me.

“Okay, I understand you, Blair. You should have bought me that vegan recipe book." Marge said looking at me sympathetically. Oh yeah, I remember now. I wasn't able to buy that because of that blonde gorgeous bitch who owned that place.

"Yey, thanks. Maybe next time, Marge." I said happily and head to the fridge.

After devouring my apple, Marge already took her keys and she said, "Let's go. Get your---“ and I cut her off.

“Marge, I can drive myself to school,” I said to her and her face frowned.

“But-” I cut her off again.

“I got my bike. And I already promised that I'm not going to hit the speed limit again. Okay?” I told her and picked up my bag and ready to leave.

“Okay, just text me if there's any problem, or go to the faculty office.” She said and head to the door.

“Yeah, sure,” I replied.

“Your schedule is in your notebook. And, you got your books at your locker.” She added. Alright, I got a mom, a sister, a best friend, a nanny, and a teacher in the house. I am just so lucky.

I grab my keys from my jeans' pocket and head to the door. Marge is still in the garage, so I waited until she got out.

“Good luck on your first day of school, Blair. Don't do something bad okay?” She yelled and then drive to school.

“Well, I got one word to describe school. Boring,” I muttered and put on my helmet, then followed Marge to school.

Episode 3

*Blair's Point of View*

“PRYCE WINSLEY ACADEMY” I read the name of the school that Marge enrolled me in.

'Act like a human and be a human.' I thought to myself as I got off my bike and pull the helmet off my head.

“This will be another one hella year of boredom,” I mumbled as I walked through the hallways.

Some students are staring at me. Well, I'm used to people staring at me but the people in Transylvania are afraid of me, so they are just going to stare at me. They don't dare to talk to me or get near me. And these students are staring at me like I am a piece of chocolate on their plate.

I just walked straight to where my locker could be to put my helmet and grab the books that Marge placed there during enrollment.

Well, I got English for my first subject. Fuck, this is going to be as tedious as hell.

I looked at my watch and I only have ten minutes to find my room. In my schedule paper, it is written there ‘Room C-04’. And where the hell is this fucking room?

I walked past a classroom and it is said to be A-01. I went to the 2nd floor and looked at the classroom named B-09. Fuck, how many classrooms are in this fucking building? I really should stop cursing.

I walked straight in the corridor and as usual, student's eyes are on me. Shit, I know I'm new here, so don't fucking stare. Don't they know that it's rude?

I made my way to the 3rd floor of this building, and there it is a classroom that is named C-01.

“Hey, Miss! Are you new at this school?” A guy behind me asked and I didn't bother to turn to him but I answered.

“Yeah.” I just continued my way to the 4th room from where I was.

“What's your first class?” He asked as he tried to catch me up.

“English,” I answered shortly and looked at my schedule paper.

“Oh, so you will be in my class. I'm Mr. Bernard Colton.” He said as he stops in front of the classroom that I'm looking for. So, he's the English teacher? He's about forty and he is already bald.

“Okay, that's cool. My name's Blair,” I said and about to enter the room when he said,

“Next time, I should be the last one to arrive in the classroom, Ms. Blair. But don't worry, you're just new here, so I will let this pass.” He said as he opened the door and let me in first.

The bell exactly rang as I am standing in front of my classmates.

My eyes searched for a vacant seat but before I could find it Mr. Colton said, “Well, there will be no more seat for you Ms. Blair, but if--” he was cut off by an eerily familiar voice of a girl at the back.

“She can sit here, Mr. Colton.” The blonde girl said without lifting her head to look at the teacher or me.

“Well, Ms. Blair you can sit beside Ms. Winsley.” The teacher said as he gestured his hands to the back part of the room.

“Okay.” I nodded and walked my way to the back of the classroom as the students stared at me like I am a walking food. Some have an afraid look on their faces, some are worried and others are smiling.

I just passed by them and stands a few feet from the said seat of mine at the back. I cleared my throat to say something nice to my seatmate to be. But when the blonde girl lifted her head and her electric blue eyes met my green ones, I kinda panicked.

Of all people and all places in the world, why is that, that bitch is my seatmate? Fuck my human life.

I can see that she is more shocked than I am. I continued to walk, and as I was in front of her, she spoke,

“What are you doing in my school?” She asked in disbelief but trying to sound calm and professional.

“Your school? Sounds fun.” I looked at her and smiled sweetly.

As I sit beside her, the teacher introduced himself for this is the first day of school.

I'm very lucky, I just knew that I won't get bored in school for the rest of the school year.

I was grinning like an idiot when the teacher said,

“I want you all to introduce yourselves so that we will know each other. Some of you might be classmates last school year, but we have new students. We will, of course, start at the back.” He said and looked on to our direction.

We are in the center of the room but we are at the very back part. But still, we can hear what the teacher says because the students are not making any noise. This is very different from my previous school.

“My name is Pryce Winsley. And for those who do not know me, better know your places or you will know where you should be...” It was all the bitch said and looked at me sharply.

So, she's the owner of the school too? What did I do to her again? Shit, I'm in big trouble.

“You're next, Ms. Blair,” the teacher said as my seatmate took her seat.

“Alright, my name's Blair, Blair Kendall. Just call me Blair, because I don't want to sound like the science teacher.” It was all I said.

What else can I say? I can't say that I'm a vampire and I drink blood. They would probably go crazy, or they will think that I'm crazy. Probably the latter. So, I sat down and turned to the girl beside me. She's not looking at me and handed me a piece of paper.

'What a small world we have, freak.' I read the paper she gave. Oh, so you want to have a conversation on paper? Then, I'll give it to you.

'Well yeah, so you did miss me. Huh?' I replied.

I was smiling widely when suddenly the teacher called my name.

“Ms. Blair, is there something funny?” The teacher asked and all heads turned to me. Shit.

“Um. Nothing, Sir.” I answered, and as I looked down at my table, I saw a paper from my seatmate.

'Never in your freaking dreams!' was her message.

I picked the paper and I smiled at myself. I decided not to respond to her. All I have to do is ignore this beautiful creature beside me, for me to be away from any trouble. Damn it, she owned this place. She may be the queen here, but I'll stand my ground. As long as I will abide by the rules and policies, I should not worry about anything.

Throughout the period, I just listened to my classmates introduced themselves.
