"Cut!! Alright, It's 10 pm! We finished shooting on time. That's a wrap everyone! Good work!"

Everyone on the set cheered loud and clear as they finally packed things up. The female lead of the film excitedly walked towards Diana with her phone in her hand.

"Director Diana! Can I have your number?" She hands her phone to Diana.

"Well... sure, no problem" Diana takes the phone and puts her number with a smile.

"I glad that I get to work with you."

"Same here, it was fun. I hope that we could work in the future as well."

The actress brightens up and receives back her phone as she cheerfully thanked Diana, "Thank you very much~"

As the actress was out of Diana's sight, Diana's expression felt tired. She sat down for a moment when the people who were packing things dazed her, causing her to remember the bills and debt she has to pay and other personal problems that she had to solve.

Suddenly, her phone rang a couple of times beside her but she couldn't hear it as it was on silent mode. After a few moments, she gets up from her seat and packs all her things in her bag while she sighs inside deeply and walks out of the building.

As she waits for her bus at the bus stop, there were old ladies beside her who kept talking loudly so Diana had no choice as she listened to their discussion.

"How unfortunate..."

The woman sighs, "She's pitiful. Look, she's a divorced woman who's living in a cramped house with her one and only daughter who's rarely at home! And now she was even hit by a car!!"

Diana scoffed as she heard their talk, she also thought about how pitiful the woman was and blamed the child for leaving the woman alone.

"I also heard that she's been sick ever since her divorce. Well, I just hope Marissa recovers soon... "

Marissa...?

"I hope so... By the way, does the daughter know that her mother is at the hospital right now?"

"I don't think so... because before I left, the nurses tried to call her many times but no one answered."

"Wow, doesn't she care? Is she that famous?"

"I don't know but I suppose everyone knows her in their industry. If I was right, she's a director."

Diana's eyes suddenly widen from shock as she faced them. She had no doubt that the old ladies were talking about her, "Where is she?!"

The ladies were startled and were a bit hesitant to say it but after Diana claimed that she was the daughter, they immediately told her, "Where were you?! Your mother is at the nearby hospital next to an entertainment building, she's with her other friend but they couldn't push the surgery because there was no family member to approve."

Diana rushed right away to the hospital with her two delicate legs and as soon as she arrived, she gasped heavily while she asked her mother's whereabouts.

"Where's my mother?!?"

A nurse with a phone on her hand saw Diana frantically asking staffs about her mother and so she approached Diana, "Are you perhaps Diana Linden?"

"Yes! I'm Marissa's daughter... Where's mom?" Diana asked with her lips and hands trembling, afraid of knowing her condition.

"Please follow me, the doctor will tell you the details."

From the tone of the nurse, Diana had a bad feeling as she felt hesitant and tried to think positively but while she had a discussion with the doctor, her heart sank to the lowest.

"Miss Diana, I'm sorry..."

Diana felt her world breaking apart as she slumped down the floor. The doctor crouched down and gently patted her hand as he tried to give her courage, "Don't blame yourself... because your mother did her best and lived longer even with her rare sickness. Please live to the fullest."

With one last pat, the doctor walks away and gave her space to let out her feelings then called out the nurse to look after Diana.

But Diana suddenly stood up heavily and quickly paid the hospital bills with no emotion. She goes home without speaking to anyone as her whole body felt weary.

However, as she entered her house, tears fell out from her eyes down to her cheeks like a waterfall. She crouched down with her hands over her face and cried loudly as she could. She didn't care if it would disturb other neighbours since all she could think of is her mother's death.

She cried all night until sunrise.

The sun rays that gradually went through her window dazed her as she sniffs and wipes her tears off. She slowly stood up and faced the mirror but as soon as she saw her eyes reddened and swelled due to hours of crying with her exhausted and miserable self through the mirror, she couldn't help but cry again.

After a few moments, she finally calms down when her phone suddenly gets numerous text and calls but she couldn't be bothered to pick it up as she didn't have the energy to do so.

A couple of minutes later, she received a voice mail from her friend. Since it was a friend that she trusted, she picked up the phone and called her.

"Hello?" Diana said weakly.

"Diana! I'm coming over! Are you home?" Her friend asked worriedly as she packs some food to at least make Diana feel better.

"I'm fine... I just want to be alone for a while."

Her friend noticed her exhausted tone so she didn't push her any further and instead warned her, "... Please don't do anything stupid."

Diana chuckled weakly and reassured her, "Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"Alright, I won't come over but can you at least tell me what happened? I'm really worried about you."

Remembering it makes Diana feel more upset but she gathered her courage and talked to her about it, "I'm sure you already know... but... I was on my way home after shooting and I heard about mom's condition from her friends. I rushed to the hospital but before I even arrived, she was already... gone."

There was a silence after Diana eventually accepted the fact that her mother passed away. But she breaks it with her half-heartedly chuckle and said as her voice trembled, "I... regret it so much. If only I was always there for her, if only I wasn't stupid enough... she wouldn't have died."

Diana once again shed tears and her friend simply listened to all of Diana's frustrations and loneliness until she calmed down.

"Have a good rest today and I'll come over tomorrow. No excuses."

Diana sniffs as she accepted her stubborn decision and afterwards, both told their farewells.

Diana gets up with a sniff as she goes to the bathroom and splashes water over her face to freshen herself up. Although she was still feeling deeply miserable and mournful, she decided to make herself a bit better by reading her favourite novel.

There's a 99% chance that reading her favourite novel won't work since every move she makes and everything she sees makes her remember her mother but it was better for her to try it or else she would have a total breakdown.

Diana took a bath and wore pajamas to at least make herself comfortable and then she grabbed her bag with her and left the bathroom.

However, as soon as she closed the door, she was in a strange room that people could only see at historical times. At first, Diana thought she was having hallucinations due to her mother's death and continues to blink her eyes but seeing that it seemed real, she began to feel anxious.

Diana hastily turned around and opened the door, sincerely hoping she's simply seeing things but unfortunately this time, she saw a corridor that had antique frames and vases on the wall. Servants suddenly stopped their actions and were confused to see their master feeling surprised and to see her in strange clothes.

Diana had a gist of her situation but still had a doubt. She hurriedly opened the door once more and entered the room, hoping that she'll go back to her cozy room... unfortunately she didn't. It took her moments to accept that she travelled or to another world with no other choice.

"This is.... too much..."

Her mother just died and now she enters a strange room. She thought of how unfortunate she really was and sighs deeply. But Diana couldn't let herself down at the moment especially with her situation.

Diana composes herself and unconsciously examined the room and looked outside on the window. As she observed the vast garden, she assumed that she was rich.

"For now, I should gather information about this world then I have to find a way out..." Diana said to herself as she sighed deeply.

While she roams around the room, she found a letter on the table and read it without any second thoughts, "Lucifer... Vandenburg?

What a vicious name... Is this my name?"

"Greetings, Lady Diana, I just wanted to tell you to fuck off..... and die."

"..."

Diana wanted to cry since there were many things that just happened and someone was suddenly telling her to die but she holds it in as she didn't want to make any ruckus and thought positively.

"The very first letter that I received had to be someone from hell, telling me to die. I suppose this is their formal way to greet someone they like."

Diana immediately sat down and grabbed a pen and paper as she gradually felt mad, "She should consider this an honor. I've been a goody-two-shoes ever since I was born and you Lucifer, my enemy friend, would be the first one to taste my new-fashioned and lovely curse words."

Afterwards, she wrote the letter whole-heartedly as she emitted a dangerous aura with her invisible horns and creepy smile when suddenly someone knocks on her door.

"Come in," Diana naturally said that it made her feel odd.

"Lady Diana, I'm sorry to disturb you but the Duke wants to speak with you." The maid said as she lowered her head and shivered in fear.

"Duke?"

Ah.... then I'm in a noble family...

"Yes, Lady Diana."

My name, it's still Diana... well, that's great, it makes things easier.

Diana wanted to change outfit since she was still wearing her pajamas but she didn't know where her clothes were so she ordered the maid, "Get me some clothes that I can change to."

The maid instantly rushed off in a strange way.

Why did it feel like she was running away? Well, either way, I'm actually quite natural in commanding people... Working habits are quite scary...

A few moments later, the maid comes back with a few clothes on her hand but as Diana picked one of them, the quality of the dress felt rough and not to mention, the color was too old-fashioned, it was like it was meant for old people to wear.

"Are you sure these are my clothes?" Diana asked as she felt odd but the maid simply nodded. Honestly, her pajamas felt more appropriate than the dress but she wore the dress in the end.

After dressing up, she said to the maid with her domineering aura, "Lead the way..."

As they walked on their way to the Duke, Diana looked around her surroundings and gradually felt stunned by how enormous the mansion was.

Arriving at the Duke's office, Diana can't help but feel more stunned to see two handsome men as she felt some familiarity. They had firm structures and had silver hair that was shining and sparkling brightly due to the sun, giving them a spotlight.

They both were wearing white suits that made them look like angels. Diana greeted them with a slight bow when suddenly...

"Diana!!" Her brother, Eric, yelled at Diana that made her flinch.

What is it? Why are you suddenly yelling at me?!

"How many more times do you want to damage our reputation?! You can do all you want but don't you ever drag the family into your mess!!"

Wow, great... after Lucifer telling me to die, now I am getting scolded for something that is not my fault.

"Diana, do you realize what you have done?" The Duke spoke up domineeringly that made Diana feel alert. "This time you've placed great damage for both the people and the household. I'll have you locked up in your room for a month as a punishment for what you've done."

Grounded for a month? that's nothing... As far as I could remember, I stayed at home for almost a year due to an outbreak of a virus. And for some reason, he feels more like a boss to me than a father.

Diana remained composed as she looked straight at the Duke's eyes with no sense of fear before bowing down and showing respect, "I understand father and I'm sorry for what I've done. This won't happen again, I hope you would forgive this ignorant child of yours."

Diana waited for a response while she bowed her head but after a minute has passed, she lifted her head since there was no response and she saw her father and brother stunned.

Why are they surprised? Whatever... I want to take a rest...

"If there is nothing more then I will excuse myself," Diana bowed once more and exited the room.

"...."

"F-Father.... who was that...?"

"...your sister..."

On her way back to the room, she took her time and absorbed everything she saw in the mansion. It was too amazing for her eyes. The interiors were antiquated yet elegant that's kind of pleasing to the eyes, she felt like she was born to love the designs. But she felt at loss since she still hasn't gotten enough information.

As she arrived at her room, she quickly rummaged the bookshelf, in hope that she would find any information about the world she's gotten into until she saw a lovely book hiding under the shelf.

To her curiosity, she opens and reads the book but after reading, Diana dazed at the book because it was a story about Lady Diana's life.

A beautiful noble lady that almost has the same status as the Royal family yet has been deteriorating due to Diana's improper temper and behavior.

As she handled malicious treatment each day, she gradually longed for affection, especially from her family that made her fight back but things got even worse. She got the title of villainess from her enemies and as a result, her father, Duke Erwin would always lock her up in her room whenever she does mistakes that affected their reputation.

If things would continue that way, then it's only a matter of time before Diana's death.

"This is Diana Lucia's life... Did she write this?"

Diana appeared depressed but a few moments later, she starts cursing the book, "This is absolute nonsense! You should've written something more acceptable. Villains and villainess are evil but authors shouldn't kill them. Not all villains are evil!"

Since she was a well-known director who only accepts interesting stories that had some unexpected twists and endings, it was an instinct that she critics the book as she kept ranting to herself when suddenly a piece of paper fell from between the pages of the book.

Diana curiously picks it up and reads it, "If my upcoming death doesn't change even after executing the forbidden enchantment then I'm going to kill my family with me."

A suicide note? And enchantment?? Like magic?

The note was strange but either way, Diana wasn't saddened by the fact that she only has days or months left to live because if that's going to be the case then it's better since she would get to see her mother again.

In truth, Diana has been considering suicide but since she was going to die soon, she decided to go with the flow and do all the things she couldn't do before until her upcoming death.

She inserts the letter back between the pages of the book and closes it. As she placed the book on the table, she spots her familiar bag on the sofa and hastily grabbed it.

"Oh my goodness! My phone's here... but how- ah that's right, I brought my bag with me..."

She opened her phone and checked if there was a signal but as expected there wasn't. "Ha-Ha-Ha.... of course, I'm in a different world after all but thankfully I brought it with me, it would at least remind me of the modern world from time to time..."

Diana rummaged inside the bag as she thought of what were the things she accidentally brought and to her surprise, there were her necessities such as toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, solar power bank, perfume, few makeups, wallet and tablet.

She snorts as she looks through the items she had with her and hides them under the bed to avoid suspicion of her.

Diana goes back to her phone but as she was scanning through her phone, she noticed something slightly unbearable, her reflection on the screen. It was not clear but she could see her messy form.

She hurriedly looked for a mirror and saw herself with freckles and zits on the face, her skin was tanned with some dirt on her neck and her hair was so freaking messy that it's like it hasn't been comb for decades.

"I..I...I..!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Diana screamed from the top of her lungs that two of her maids, the head butler and head maid heard her scream and rushed to her room as they banged the door open.

"Is something wrong, Lady Diana?" The head butler asked in a panic.

"My face! It's still... Me? Why?" Diana exclaimed to herself.

Why is my chubby face still here? This can't be...

Diana sulked at her awful look and suddenly gasped just as if she remembered something that made her look stupid.

She suddenly glared at the servants with a surprised look, "Did I just face the Duke and my brother earlier with this kind of get-up?!"

"Y-Yes, Lady Diana..."

"Did I always have the same face and this kind of get-up whenever I go out?" Diana asked as she hopefully gets the answer 'no' from her servants but they nodded as they said, "yes, Lady Diana."

Diana took a step back from what the servants said and looked back at the mirror with a dumb look. Then she starts spouting nonsense to herself, "This girl is so stupid! You already knew that you were going to die then you should've at least made yourself prettier!!" Diana pointed at the mirror that reflected herself as she gritted her teeth in anger.

The servants were confused with Diana's actions but stood still as they waited for her orders, "Bring me the best hairdresser in this country..."

"Wha-what do you mean, Lady Diana?"

"The best hairdresser!! Now!!" Diana yelled and all of the servants immediately got startled as they followed her orders.

Servants quickly rushed out of the room as they start to mention Diana in an unpleasant way in which Diana couldn't hear it, "Seriously, she never changes... she still screams now and then."

"But someone said that they saw her apologizing to the Duke..."

"I'm sure you misheard things... how could a villain turn into an angel."

Since they were whispering on their way out, they thought Diana wouldn't be able to hear them but unfortunately, Diana is a special case. She has the ears of a moth and the eyesight of an eagle, so she can hear and see everything, especially when it comes to gossips.

Hah! That's right... how could a villain turn into an angel? Then let's continue being a villain! I should punish those imbeciles when I see them!

"Ah!" Diana reacted as she recalled something.

She leans outside the door and shouted for the head butler to hear, "Head butler! And also call Eva! I want her in my room as soon as the hairdresser arrives!"
