As usual everyone was cheerful for the first day of High school. I know what you guys are thinking. Since I'm a mermaid I should be cheerful too but no, I'm the only mermaid living on earth plus it's hard to hide my tail when I go for a swim in a public swimming pool.

My parents died at a really young age and I only have my grandmom to look after me.I dont know why but whenever I'm asking my grandmom how my parents died she starts crying so I stopped asking her about it.Anyways......

I was on my way to class when I saw a huge crowd in the corridor.There I paused and gazed to the most handsome guy I have ever seen in my entire life. It was as if I saw stars  in my eyes.

"Alishaaaa!!! Alishaaa!!!!" exclaimed Emma.

"What?"

"OMG!!! Did you see that handsome prince over there?"

"Yeah so what about him? Don't tell me you like him just because he looks good?!?!"

"Welllll you seee his name is Shawn. His dad is a famous businessman and his mom is a great chef and he is the youngest child actor I have ever met. Oh God I am totally gonna be his friend.I mean who knew I might get a role in a movie with him LOL!!! "

"Well ya, but just because he is handsome,famous and rich you dont have to be his friend.I mean I'm still your friend even though you knew that I'm not rich or famous as him."

"Well that's true and I will always keep your secret safely...😉"

"Ya you better.Honestly I dont know what I would do without you. You are the only friend I have Emma"

"Oh stop being soo emotional let's go to Maths class"

"Ughhh"

LUNCH BREAK

After a tiresome class I finally get to have a tasty lunch in the cafeteria with Emma.

TODAY'S MENU:

Bacon with eggs

chicken /vegetable sandwiches

Marshed potatoes

apple/orange juices

Chocolate/vanilla ice cream

Wow!!! Its a miracle.For the first time I'm seeing real food since its the first day of High School otherwise I would just see  a blob of amoeba on my tray.Today is  not as bad as I thought.Until………

I tripped on zoe's foot and was going to fall but someone held me tight by my waist when I looked up it was shawn. It was as if I was walking down the aisle and I  tripped on my glass heels and my newlywed husband caught me by my waist.

"Oh I'm so sorry" rubbing his shirt filled  with stains of my lunch.(uhh I'm gonna be so hungry during physics period 😭😭)

"No problem"

we gazed into each others eyes and felt like time stopped.And suddenly....

"Excuse me?!?!"

"Oh hey Zoe, didn't notice you there"

She glared at me with her beady little eyes and I walked away as if nothing ever happened. Oh my God I hate her when she does that , why does she have to embarrass me all the time, I mean is that her job.

"Alisha what happened during break? Are you okay? Did u get hurt anywhere?"

"I'm fine Emma, it's just the same old drama with zoe.She keeps on bugging me."

"You know you should really give her a piece of your mind then she will understand at what position you are in. O well then, see you at school tomorrow"

"Bye Emma"

As I was walking to my home. I heard someone moaning by the roadside.When I peeked it was Shawn crying his heart out.

"Why are you crying? Did something happen? Is it because of what happened today in cafeteria?"

I sat down next to him.

"Oh its nothin"

"Oh come on just tell me.I wont tell it to anyone, I promise"

"Its just that.....I see my parents fight all the time and recently I overheard  them talking to each other that they might get divorced and I'm pretty much scared about it because if they do I dont have anyone to look after me."

He wiped his tears and leaned on  to my shoulders.I comforted him and said that it's normal for couples to fight.

"By the way dont tell anyone about what happened right now because zoe is already mad about what had happened in cafeteria."

"Why is she mad? She is the one who made me trip with her damn heels"

"I'm her boyfriend"

"Oh never mind , well can't you discuss your problems with her? "

"Well to be honest she never listens to me"

"Then why are you dating her?"

"Well you see, she is my childhood friend and she was the only one who was there for me when we were little kids but I guess she has grown up and she has to deal with her own problems."

"Oh that's ok, you should confront it"

"By the way I didn't get the chance to introduce myself, I'm shawn"

"I'm Alisha"

"Oh cool"

"I guess I will get going , see you tomorrow"

"Bye, see you tomorrow"

We had our school field trip as it was the starting of the year and it was a great bonding for all of us to get to know each other.We were on our way to Rove hotel in Pennsylvania.We reached to the Rove hotel and took a few snaps and selfies.

After taking some photos everyone wore their swim suits and we went to beach for swimming and surfing , as for me I played volleyball with Emma in my usual dress. All the guys were checking out zoe like she is the princess I mean hey dont get me wrong but there are plenty of other fishes in the sea but why her?

Is it because she is wearing this sexy swimsuit?I mean even I can pull that off (I guess).

Anyways.....We had our delicious breakfast.

Yummy😋 they almost had all the cuisines.

On my god!! I wont be able to swim with my huge tail after eating all this food cause my tummy would be enlarged than my tail.But the food tastes so yummy , why am I born as a mermaid...😭😭

In afternoon we went to an amusement park,there were a lot of breath taking rides and circuses.We also went to watch 3D movie JOKER in the theatre and lord I almost peed on my pants when he keeps staring and smiling at me and always asks "why so serious?"

Literally every time Emma asks me to pass the cola I get frightened and the whole popcorn bucket falls on my head , oh God help me why am I such a scared cat out of all my friends.

We came back to the hotel around at 9 and the teachers told us to sleep as we had to get up early morning for camping.Me and Emma went to our room and to get changed into our nightdress.

We watched kdramas on Netflix , I know what your thinking that by now we should be sleeping but no I mean it's just 10 I usually sleep by 11. Anyways....after that we slept on our cute comfy bunk bed.

Oh my gosh!! I couldn't even close my eyes or wink to sleep cause every time I close my eyes I think of joker ,plus no one was sleeping next to me and Emma was on top of the bunk bed. Oh my God I'm getting nightmares uhhh 😭😭

I went out to just walk around the hotel and the beach to get my mind off this.And then I thought how about I take a little swim I mean anyways didn't enjoy the beach this morning. Plus there was no security guard in the middle of the night so I'm pretty much safe.

As I was swimming I felt like a person was staring at me but then I thought it was just my illusion.I took a dip inside the beach water and came out and saw shawn.
