It was 8 in the morning as usual April woke up sat on her bed yawning and looked at the watch and as usual she screamed, she cursed herself for again getting up late (she is a total human panda) she goes to her washroom brushes her teeth and showers.

after shower she comes hurriedly in her room opens her closet and starts thinking about what she should wear today and she glances at her watch again and she thought, do hell with appearance for now, and takes a black trousers and sky blue coloured blouse with white strips she wears them hurriedly, puts on her lotion, compact litely, and her lip balm and puts on her white heels and again takes the glance over watch and runs through her door (even if she had time for appearance she would have done the same that's how our FL is).

April goes to a bus stand and while constantly looking at her wrist watch bus arrives she gets on it and after 1 hr of traveling she reaches her office on time and she sighed in relief it was already 10 AM.

while she was going inside her office she remembered that today she has to deal with her perverted boss, "ugh what kind of cursed luck.... man...., now I have to meet that old pervert early in the morning".

she goes to her dept took the drawings of residential building that their office is trying to get for their next project and that she prepared (as our FL is civil engineer) and was going to her boss's office.

suddenly a familiar voice called her "hey April Good morning You again came hurriedly to the office right?" while giggling her colleague and only friend in office Sia asked.

while scratching the back of her neck avoiding sia's gaze April replied "what are you talking about, today I came on time ok!" pausing for some time April again said "and for your info sia I always come on time please".

sia looked at her and made a weird face and laughed loudly at April "you and coming early ok ok" after telling this she again laughed.

April just looked at her friends laughing face and made an angry face and told her "y..you...don't talk to me".

sia stopped laughing and told her "ok mam you win". and April turns her head proudly and after 2 min of silence sia again laughs looking at her strong but childish friend.

again April starts to walking on her way to the boss's office sia stops her and asks "are you going to that perverts cabin alone?".

April sighs and looks at sia while shrugging and replies "what option do I have".

sia looks at April and tells her "don't worry I also have to report that man about daily progress so why don't we go together that way we don't have to face that man alone what say?"

April looks at sia as April knows that sia is not comfortable around their boss she nods and says "let's go then".

they knocks on the cabin an old voice comes from cabin "come in".

April and sia both goes inside the office and when their boss Mr. Chen looks at them both and he becomes delighted as if his prays have come to him early in the morning and not one but two.

both girls looked at each other feeling disgusted by that man, and goes over to his table April tries to put the drawings on his table but Mr. chen tries to grab April's hand, and being his employee for years she knows what this man will do, and she avoids his hands and gives him a sharp look, while looking at her mr. chen understood that this is the limit with April, and he changes his gaze from April to sia, as sia knows that he is a pervert, but she doesn't have that much of experience as April, because it's been only 4 months since she started working, and every time sia has go to their boss's cabin she always took April along with her as April is the only one who was willing to come with her, and because April Is already working at that company for 2 yrs so she was good at handling mr. chen.

while giving the report to mr. chen now he tried to grab sia's hand, and he was successfull he brushed his thumb on her soft hand, and made a horny expression which sia and April both saw.

now April couldn't control herself, so she took sia's hand from mr. chen and told him "now we'll go to work boss", and they both left and sia was feeling happy that again April helped her.

while going to their dept sia told April "thanks again freind" April looked at her and while smiling at sia she told her "you silly I'll always help you".

both of them went to their dept while smiling at each other like assuring each other that I'll always have your back girl.

back in the dept sia asked April "can I ask you a question April".

April replied to her "yes".

sia looked into her eyes and asked straightforwardly "I always wanted to ask you this question but I was afraid that I'll offend you in any way but now my curiosity is killing me so I'll just ask, why are you working in this company I know that our pay is quite good, but even in 4 months I feel like slapping that bastard and resigning from this job you know, but you have been working here for past 2 yrs and in those 2 yrs you don't even talk to any other colleagues like you talk to me why is that?".

April looked at sia in confused look and asked her while teasing "are you curious that why don't I have friends or I can't make one huh".

sia sighed and told her "stop jocking and don't avoid my question just tell me the truth".

April chuckles at sia's impatience and finally answers her "as you said sia, the pay is good, and you also know that even if boss tries to do anything funny I always shut him up, you know sia I live alone right, then I have to survive in this country, and as a independent women I think you understand that surviving in this country is not an easy task so I have to do whatever I can to support myself without hurting my self respect, and that I achieve both in this office by getting paid a generous amount, and even boss doesn't dare to look at me" April said smirking.

sia was continuously looking at April and after her explanation sia nodded her head in agreement she thought, indeed it is difficult to survive alone in this country, then she thought why alone where are her parents, before sia could ask any further questions.

April cut her words and continues her explanation "and about friends huh" after a stop she starts speaking again "I only have two friends in life sia, one is my college friend sophia and now you" April said while looking at sia.

sia looked at her confusingly, April knows that she is confused and starts explaning again "you know I don't trust people so much I also hesitated becoming close to you, you know in 2 yrs I have seen so many people in this office that I again thought it's good to keep distance from people, and I'll tell you why as you know boss is kinda afraid of me and I'm the only women he won't dare to touch, that's why so many womens in our office comes for my help, and as I helped you I help them too but to tell you the truth, I know that they used me and it's not my prejudice, I saw two women talking that how easy target I am to use against our boss and they don't even want to talk to me but still they do because I am useful". after finishing this April laughed sarcastically, which made sia gloomy for asking about this.

As still April was saying "and you were the first one that ever talked with me without using me I still remember you first came towards me and asked for my help as every women did, but you were different because even after I pushed you and showed no interest in being your friend, still you came and made me your friend and I was happy just with that".

after saying that April gently smiled looking at sia and sia returned her smile.

sia realised that she forgot something and immediately asked April a question again "ok April I agree to everything you said but still I have two questions".

April cut her in between and told her "hey why are you so curious about me you know I'm not into girls right". after saying this April chuckled and mocked sia.

sia just looked at her angrily and said to April "even if I was in girls I won't be in you, and stop cutting my sentences let me finish ok".

April sighed and said "ok mam you win" and chuckled.

sia started again "so my questions are, first why do you live alone and, second I know now why you don't have any friends in office but what about college why only Sophia is your friend".

April became shocked after hearing her question she stopped for few min and started answering her curious friend "I don't live with my family because my father and I can't live with each other as we fight a lot even for smallest of things we have a totally different opinions, and sia for your info this is not the real reason that I don't live with my family".

after seriously listening to April, sia thought what is the main reason, then as she was going to open her mouth to ask question again,

April said "I know what you are going to ask so let me tell the real reason is that..........my mother wants to marry me off" and April laughed.

sia was stupidified that she thought that the problem is so big and she said "youuu I thought it must be something big huh".

April said to her "hey how can you say that it's not a big problem I'm still young ok, I don't wanna marry anyone right now".

sia looked at her and said "are you sure, you are an oldie now, I think you forgot your age, let me remind you, you are 26 ok and I think any mother would like to marry her daughter off at this age".

after taking a few min sia sighed and asked "why is it so hard just find a boyfriend and then marry him or don't tell me you didn't even had a boyfriend before".

April looked at her and said "it's not like that, I had a boyfriend".

sia wanted to ask her further but April stopped her from asking but sia was persistent "ok mam I wont ask you about that boyfriend of yours anymore but you haven't answered my second question yet".

April kinda became sad and told her "let's talk about it later ok I'll definitely tell you".

sia saw her look so she didn't persuade her to tell and they both started doing their work after long chatting but sia was happy as she got to know more about April.

and finally it's time to shut the work and go home and lay on your bed and sleep, April thought while shutting her laptop.

while going out of the office someone called them

"April.....sia.......you womens wait".

APRIL POV

I didn't tell sia the whole story that why mr. chen is scared of me, the real reason is that I personally know mrs. chen as she is my mother's friend and I have her full support, that's why mr. chen doesn't wanna argue with me, and I would have told sia about mrs. chen, but mrs. chen is the one who told me not to tell anyone about her knowing me personally and I didn't ask her why, and obviously I am not ready to tell her about my college life and why Sophia is still my friend, but I'll tell when the time comes.

while I was thinking this things some one called me and sia, I know who is this person so me and sia just turned and stopped, looking at figure which was coming towards us running and huffing.

"hey you guys how can you walk so fast?" while huffing this person asked.

I just looked at her smirked and answered her "it's not our fault that we have long legs right sia".

sia looked at me then smiled and said "ohh yes" and laughed.

"why are you guys always making fun of my height huh it's just that God made me cute okk".

me and sia simultaneously looked at the person standing in front of us.

then sia said "I still don't get it from where do you get that much of confidence Sophia?" and laughed.

Sophia said "that's called talent babe, and obviously I am cute so why deny that huh".

I said to Sophia "ok ok we got your point so stop praising your self already".

sia said pleading "yes please sophia".

sophia said "ok girls, by the way are you directly going home or what?".

sia said "if you don't want me to go home I won't go, i am always ready for some fun, let's go April"

Sophia looked at me and asked "yeah that's my girl, and please April don't say no ok".

I looked at them both, face palmed myself and told them "noooo I don't want to go anywhere at this hr I just wanna go to my bed".

Sophia looked at me angrily and said "I am not asking you I am telling you that you are coming with us".

sia said excitingly "yeah, but where are we going".

Sophia said "let's go to pub".

I said pleadingly "why please let's just go home naa, and look sia we are not even wearing proper clothes for clubing".

sophia and sia looked at each other and winked and suddenly came towards me and dragged me all the way towards pub while I was still struggling for going home, I thought these two are pure devils.

and finally we reached pub and I asked the same question "hey have you guys lost your mind see we are still in our office clothes other people will think that we are nuts".
