Part I: Chapter 1 Revelation of the Defiler

Viennashal Iminz Goddess of Peace and High Ruler of Galaxia Prime stood out on one of the many balconies of her palace as she gazed out at the city of Alterria. Buildings that stretched high into the clouds and shined bright of the sparkling metal crystal as old as the Realm. She watched the dozens of traffic lanes full of hovercraft and airspeeders making their way from one sector of Galaxia to another. She closed her eyes and for a moment tuned out all the sounds of the city, she concentrated on the beings within the palace. She quickly was able to place her eight royal handmaidens, her valiant protectors who had been trained since childhood to protect her.

She trusted them completely and considered them her closest allies outside of the Goddesses. Her handmaidens had protected her for the past seven eons that she had been a Goddess. They'd been blessed with immortality by her. Her decision to make them immortal had come as a request by them because they didn't want to leave her. At first, she was uncertain of using her powers to do so but the young women had grown on her. So, in her mind it had been a no-brainer to make them immortal.

As she continued to focus her mind, she could hear the footsteps of the guards as they walked down the halls checking into their respective stations. She could faintly hear the thoughts of her servants and others who worked in the palace. Then she heard another, this one's thoughts were focused on her and only her. She smiled on the inside as she heard what thoughts that the Goddesses would consider questionable. She instantly turned around opening her eyes to see one of her handmaidens at the balcony archway with her head bowed waiting address her.

"Yes Farah."

The captain of her handmaidens lifted her head with a slight frown.

"The lord of Chaos has once again come to visit you. He requests permission to enter."

Viennashal nodded slowly giving Farah a head motion that only she would know the meaning of. Her handmaid did an about-face and exited the room. As she did, he entered, clad in red robes that signified his place among the Collective as a lord. His gold armor that he wore no matter the occasion shined bright as he made his way toward her. As he reached her she embraced him and they kissed. For a long moment, she wondered how this could have happened. How could she have allowed herself to fall in love with a lord? If the Goddesses had found out they would be outraged, possibly even devastated enough that they would remove her as High Ruler of Galaxia. Then again what could possibly be wrong with being in love with a lord?

As she allowed herself to let go of the man, she'd grown to love over the past millennium she noticed something she hadn't before. Asjuntar the Lord of Chaos was distraught and had a sense of anxiety written all over himself. She peered into his mind but found nothing but anger, this immediately worried her.

"What is it?"

Asjuntar frowned ever so briefly and then his face turned back to its neutral expression. She stared into his dark brown eyes and watched as he stroked his chin as if he was attempting to formulate the best response possible.

"They know."

Viennashal was expecting him to say that. The God Collective as they called themselves found out everything over time. There wasn't much that could be hidden from them. They probably even knew of Galaxia and the gateway that allowed other Celestials passage to her kingdom.

"You act as if you or I could've kept it from them. It changes nothing, we've been through worse together and have made it through many trials and yet here we are."

Asjuntar shook his head quickly, his light brown skin shimmering in the sunlight. He opened his mouth as he lifted his arm pointing in the direction of a room that was attached to her bedroom.

"No, my love, they've learned of her existence. What we created in our lustful passion the night we wed in secret. They found out about our daughter and request your presence along with the rest of the Goddess Council to decide what to do about it."

Viennashal found herself becoming enraged the more Asjuntar spoke. How could a group of men who never even met her or her daughter want to decide what should be done with her or 'it' as her husband had put it.

"And you came here to gather us so we could go there and meet whatever fate they decide?"

Asjuntar looked at her arms held up with his hands up.

"You think I have a choice? I am lord not a God! I can't just disobey their commands as others can. If I hope to make it to see the title if God and be given ruler ship of one of the seven kingdom's I have to play the part."

Viennashal heard the tone in her husband's voice. It was a tone she'd not heard from him before. In his voice there was sadness, anger and surprisingly a sense of guilt. A part of her wanted to yell at him and blame him for this, but she didn't yet know who was responsible for the Collective gaining knowledge of their child's existence.

"I will accompany you there but our child will remain here in my palace under the guard of my handmaidens. I will not allow your brothers to have the opportunity to do something brash that would be outside of our control."

Asjuntar smiled at her. As he came closer to her wrapping his arm around her slender waist. He took in every aspect of her vanilla cream skin as shined and spoke to her in his normal reserved tone.

"You always are distrusting of my brothers. I would never let them harm our daughter. Nonetheless, I still have to follow the orders I am given."

Viennashal looked up at her husband slowly. Asjuntar was always protective of her and their daughter, but when his brothers asked something of him, she always sensed a conflict brewing within him thatshe couldn't fully understand. Sometimes she didn't try to understand it, othertimes they would have long drawn out arguments that caused him to avoid forlong periods of time. She had feeling that whatever was about to happen wasgoing to not cause him to avoid her, but possibly do something that he mightregret later on. After all he was the lord if chaos and chaos within the FiveRealms was something that hadn't been witnessed since before her creation as aGoddess.

CHAPTER 2: A PROCLAMATION OF WAR

It was indeed something to behold, it stood as a testament of authority and seat of power for the Collective. The last time she had stood within its halls she was what the Goddesses of old called a new creature. A Celestial who still possessed some form of innocence and small power among beings whose prowess she wouldn't dare challenge. There had been those who did indeed try, they had either been banished or worse. She had made sure that she would never join their numbers, and rightly so. She knew that her sisters would one need her leadership and divine wisdom to one day challenge the Collective and bring justice upon them. Maybe, just maybe that day had come.

Virdenasha the leader of the Council of Goddesses and Supreme Ruler of the Four Kingdoms sat in her seat within the Hall of the Ancients. Here she had aided in the governing of Paradia and led the Goddesses for many millennia. It was here only hours ago that she had learned of Viennashal Iminz and Lord Asjuntar's secret union and child that had been born years ago. She kept the shock of it all within. If the rest of her sisters saw how distraught she was then it would cause them to also be distracted and possibly act out of character. No, she had remained at peace and needed maintain order. It was bad enough that the Collective was also within the halls among them, plotting against them as per usual. They would no doubt use this against the Council and try to instigate something or worse.

What Virdenasha was troubled by the most was that she hadn't been able to sense this child or that Viennashal was married to a Lord of the Collective. It wasn't treason, nor was it forbidden, it just wasn't done and had never been done. The God's had sought the destruction of the Goddesses for eons and now with this new knowledge they might have a just reason to go to war. It was clearly defined within the Constitution of the Realm that any Lord who married a God be banished from the Collective. It also stated that any Goddess who wed a Lord and birthed a child whose lineage was of another realm be stripped of their title and removed from power. That latter reason alone is what had Virdenasha troubled beyond belief.

Viennashal wasn't a Celestial, she was of human origin and had been given powers of the Goddesses. What made matters worse was that her sisters had done so in secret and didn't inform her until after the deed was done. It was also irreversible and could not be changed. Once a female Celestial was made a Goddess, she remained a Goddess forever until she either was killed or handed over her power to another, even then she was still a Goddess but had no authority except in times of war. And she knew that her sisters would never allow or vote to remove Viennashal from power. She was a member of the Council and High Ruler of Galaxia Prime. It wouldn't be a good idea to make that call.

She allowed herself a moment to breathe as she noticed the rest of the Council members began to make their way into the chamber. She noticed that Viennashal was among their numbers. She quietly walked to her seat and sat down. She could see fear written across her face. She closed her eyes and peered into Viennashal's soul and caught a glimpse of images of a young girl who she quickly assumed was the child she had heard so much about. She noticed that this child was identical to Viennashal in almost every way.

"She is safe, far from the grasp of them." Viennashal said motioning towards the chamber doors where the Collective was.

Virdenasha suddenly realized that the young Goddess was able to feel her inner gaze and knew that the power she held within her was great than she had originally thought. Not many could instantly sense another's inner probing and rightly judge its origin. She found herself feeling impressed by this display of discernment and at the same time she felt a strong sense of devotion to keep this child safe. It suddenly donned on her that Viennashal hadn't fallen in love and created a new life by accident. She had done so for a reason and whatever that reason was she planned to find out.

"By the power of The Ancients I swear to you, no harm will befall your child."

Viennashal glanced at Virdenasha as another Goddess sat in the seat that separated them. Her name was Shadventress the Goddess of light. She looked over Viennashal and slowly nodded. Viennashal returned the nod and then leaned back and spoke in a low tone to Virdenasha.

"My child is the spark we need within the realm to rid us of the Collective and their corruption. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Our time has come, for centuries we have prepared ourselves. Today the war begins."

Virdenasha nodded slowly as the realization ofher sister's proclamation hit her. Long had they awaited the day that theycould have an advantage over the God's. Too long had they served alongsidetyranny and turned a blind eye in the name of keeping peace. Today change hadcome, today they would begin their quest of retribution. Today the war began.

CHAPTER 3: THE FALLOUT

The Goddesses had all taken their seats. They patiently waited for the Collective to enter the chamber. They would take their seats across the chamber as they always did. Viennashal sat impatiently, this was a day she had been trying to avoid, though in heart of hearts she'd known it would come. Her daughter was a secret she had kept from everyone for fourteen years. A secret that could and probably be the catalyst in breaking the civil law between the God's and the Goddesses of Paradia. Such an idea that this could become a reality filled her with pride and guilt. Guilt that she might be grooming her daughter to be fed to the wolves, yet if her plan worked, she would be the slaughtering the wolves.

The chamber door opened and the God's silently took their seats. She keenly watched her husband take his seat amongst his brothers. Viennashal didn't hate the God's in fact, she respected some of them. Not all of them were considered tyrants, though after today that may change. Once they heard about the child who could pose a threat to their rule, they all may rise against the Goddesses. Only time would tell of what fate had in store for them.

"Since we all know why we're here, we will dispense with any other matters of business and focus on the matter of Viennashal and Asjuntar. And the matter of what to do about their said offspring who I hear is almost of age." Derelict the Collectives leader said as he looked to Asjuntar.

Viennashal hated Derelict with a fiery passion. She wanted nothing more than to see the God of Power burn in flames within Underworld. She slowly looked to her husband as he swallowed hard opening his mouth to speak.

"It is true that Viennashal and I secret wed many years ago. I love her and because of our love we created our daughter. Born of Celestial and Mortal lineage, she is a hybrid. First of her kind and is indeed two years shy of being of age to enter combat."

Asjuntar looked towards Kondorst the God of Death. Usually he is the first to speak upon matters that concern civil matters. Viennashal looked upon the pale skinned Celestial with a discomfort that could kill if it could take physical form. She couldn't see into his mind freely without him knowing she waited for him to speak.

"This Defilement you and that...creature over there made should put to death immediately. The Goddesses most likely would use it as a weapon against us." Kondorst said in a rather menacing tone.

Viennashal opened her mouth but was silenced by Virdenasha who must have sensed her dismay and offense of being referred to as a 'creature'.

"You will not refer to any of my sisters as a creature or have you forgotten upon the laws put in place by the Ancients who spoke of the danger of such language. If she was truly from the Realm of where creatures originate then we would not have her amongst us. And no such order shall be issued."

Kondorst glared at Virdenasha evilly.

"So be it then." he said slowly.

Viennashal watched as Tenebre God of Seven kingdom's of Raxia Lux began to speak. She hated him as well but not as much as she hated Derelict.

"My brother, I too wish to see this child stuck down but not put to death. If she truly could be used as a weapon against us which would be foolish at any rate, then let us test her in combat once she r

Becomes of age. Surely that could be a reasonable gesture of our divine good faith and will."

Derelict looked upon his brother for a moment before speaking.

"I echo your sentiment brother. Although none have ever bested us in combat save for the Ancients who are no long dead. Not even the Goddesses who in all their power have bested us. Though they have come close. At any rate who would train her? I for one would not dare strike down another Celestial who doesn't even know the potential of their own power."

The Collectives members all nodded in agreement. It was a sin against Celestial law to kill another who was unaware of their own strength. Viennashal knew that if her daughter was to be trained it could not be by the Goddesses. It would have to be by one of the Collective. One who held no ill will towards her. As they started to converse among each other Urlecit God of Seledon spoke.

"Since I alone harbor no ill passions against this child as I have yet to meet her nor toward her mother, I offer to train her and teach her our ways. On one condition, once she is of age, she will duel me. If she succeeds, she'll be made a Demi Goddess. If she fails, she will be banished to the Fourth Realm never to return to Paradia for if she does I myself will kill her."

Viennashal looked to her husband who nodded for her to accept the offer. She knew that the other members would not make a better choice for her to decide upon.

"Then let it be made so, tomorrow I will have my daughter escorted by my handmaidens to Seledon. There she will be given permission to venture to other regions of Paradia as long as she does not violate your laws and way of life among your citizens."

For a long moment the Collective remained silent as they communicated telepathically. Virdenasha watched them closely.

"So, it shall be. The 'Daughter of Vienna' shall be trained and tested in combat by Urlecit. The rules will be made so. I only hope she is up to the task." Derelict proclaimed.
