Chapter 1: How we’ve met

“Sandee Miller, wherever you are, I will definitely find you, and make you pay. Letting me go was the biggest mistake of your life.” Max said as he intently looked at the lovely picture of him and his beloved ex-girlfriend - Sandee.

 It’s been 5 long years since they’ve parted ways but the pain he felt, feels like yesterday.

Flash back 2013

**Axel***

“next!...yes? Library card renewal or Library card registration?”

“registration”, I said.

“you’re a transferee?”, the librarian asked

I simply nod.

“just sign this and this…” – librarian

“welcome to Dream Academy Library, you are now allowed to read and borrow any book you like…” librarian said fixing her big round glasses. 

Where am I supposed to sit? Everything here is fully occupied.

Turn to the left.

Turn to the right.

Finally found a spot.

Sit back and relax.

Just a few moments later....

“uhm, excuse is the seat available? There are no available seats anymore and I-I really need to do my homework now.” a little lady said while catching her breath. 

I nod. I didn’t mind having someone to sit near me, she doesn't know who I am or where I’m from plus I find her very cute and pretty even she has no make up on. 

“thank you” she said, and smiled at me. I don’t know why but it seems that my world just stopped and my heart has skipped a beat. I can’t just help staring at her.

Later on, she took her guess bag, guess pouch, and GUESS what? haha just what I just thought. 

She took her glasses and wear it. She looked more beautiful infact the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen in my whole life. 

*1 and half later*

“oh! What a bunch of NERDS! Is that your boyfriend, Sandee?”a sophisticated girl said. So Sandee is her name.

“girl ! Why are you talking to them ?! Let’s go. Oh, It's Sandee and the Transferee…heheh What A Bunch of Losers!” the other girl said.

“ I am sorry that’s actually how they treated others. I hope you won’t mind them. I mean we are the only students wearing glasses in the School or so-called nerds. ” the girl named Sandee said.

“ It’s okay, not a big deal. You don’t have be sorry. What's your full name Sandee?” I asked

“ How do you know my name?” she responded in confusion.

“That’s what they called you awhile ago.” I said

“Oh, sorry about that. I am Sandee---” I wasn’t able together full name as the bell rings already.

She smiled, and walkaway , we are still in the library and we need to keep silence.

Axel was lost in thought and later did he realized that he is already 10 minutes late for class. He runs as fast as he could and almost bump to someone - the professor who was assigned to them. “ Well, hello there young man, you must be Axel, Vivian’s son. Come and introduced yourself. “ the Professor said.

Axel confidently glanced at his classmates, and he did not expect that Sandee is his classmate, the girl he talked to at the Library.

He introduced himself, but nobody paid much attention on him except for the girl at the Library.

“You may take your seat first, just go to the avail able seat at the back.” - Professor.

He seated happily and greeted Sandee. They’ve became close friends but they were bullied at the same time because of their big rounded glasses but they don’t mind others talking behind them. It seems like they have their own world.

Many months have passed, and they’ve became more than friends .

“Sandee, I love you, w-will you be my g-girlfriend?” Axel said stuttering and sweating. Though he knows that Sandee may have feelings for him he is still not as confident as “Max” the popular model. He has frickles on this cheeks, and his glasses are very thick. 

Sandee finally said yes, and it was the happiest day of Axell’s life. They were together for 5 months, and Prom is fast approaching. Both already planned what to wear and what to do.

It was only an hour before Prom starts officially , Sandee told Axel that she decided not to go. Axel didn’t know why, he was there already waiting. He plans to tell her that he is Maxell Jorge. He has fallen deeply for her and he will reveal his real identity at the end of the Ball, when Masks are allowed to be removed.

Since he was at the campus already, he might as well just join the fun and - - - - - eat. He has been waiting for Sandee for an hour and haven't eaten dinner. 

Prom has started and people went to the floor dancing. There's too much noise, so he decided to go out.

He saw a lady that was dragged by a muscular man. He followed them and hide behind the trees. 

 “Young Lady, this will be the last time. You need to go to Chicago now, your Grandfather died and your Mother's enemies are just around the corner sooner or later they will hunt and hurt you and your lover . “ a man with a broad shoulder said to the little girl who looks like Sandee. He can’t clearly see it because its too dark.

“Is that Sandee? Nah, I guess not. No one would call Sandee a young lady. She is just a simple girl and that’s what I love about her. “ he said to himself.

He went back to the place where the Ball has taken place.

“We will now announce the Prom King and Queen. The Prom King is…….no other than Justine Bailey . May I please have him on stage?” after he was crowned, the Speaker has announced the Prom Queen.

"And the Prom Queen 2013 is………..wow! I can’t believe it. It is Sandee Miller, the nerd! The Ugly Duckling to a very gorgeous Swan. Now, get in here, take off that mask and be crowned."

It was all Axel heard, and he cannot believe that Sandee lied to him.

Chapter 2 : Betrayal

Few weeks after Sandee became the Prom Queen she was selected as the Campus Princess. Since then, she has always been cold hearted towards Axel.

He was waiting until she talks or explains  to him what’s going but she didn’t  instead she pushed him away.

Because of this unexpected event that happens between them, they have never been the same.

“Let’s end this we’re not meant to be together.” Axel was able to meet and talked to Sandee. After a few days, Sandee has dropped out of school and she texted  him to meet her at their secret place the next day.

What she said was very simple, but he already  expected  this to happened since they haven't been  talking to each other for a couple of weeks.

“Why?” this is the only word that comes out of his mouth.

He is actually speechless. He misses her so much.  All he could think of is  to hug and kiss her again.

“We’re not meant to be together Axel. You already know why. We’re too different; from the status itself to our age. You are 6 years older than me but still in Senior high school. I don’t know where or what you were doing before. On the top of this,  our love for each other has grown cold.” She said but her eyes were about to burst into tears.

Axel guessed that something was odd. Age or status in life were never a hindrance between them as the matter of fact, Axel is definitely Sandee’s ideal man.

He was already hurt when he haven't seen or talked to her, and by hearing all of this, Sandee is adding more salt to his wounded heart.

He has fallen deeply in love with her, and he can’t accept the he fact that she dumps her for a nonsensical reasons. He is "Max" the famous superstar. He's been cold and arrogant but love has changed him.

She sighed, “ I would appreciate it if you would stop bothering me. Stop calling and texting me. Stop following me. Just stop. “

With this,  Axell has turned his back and didn’t heard the last words Sandee was about to tell.

" I - I"...... 

“ I love you, good bye” tears has finally busted from her eyes. 

She loved him too much that the only way to hurt him less is to leave him. 

*end of flash back*

It may not be a big deal for other’s breaking up with their first love, but no, not with Max.

He was a cold hearted guy, but only Sandee was able to thaw his frozen heart.

Max has closed the box where all memories Sandee and him shared  together.

Transferring from one School to another has help conceal not just his identity but also his heart that’s longing for love. It’s not just the love from any girl —but only Sandee's. 

He may have been denying that he still love Sandee but his heart never denies the fact that he still loves and longed for her. It’s been 5 long years now. He already graduated from College but he was home schooled.

He took up Business Administration Management while working as a Model, and he is not just a model now, he is also a famous singer.

On the to of that, he is also the only Son of Maximus Jorge, the CEO of MMJ Corporations who’s about retire.

“Come on Pops, we have already talked about this. You said you’ll give me my freedom to choose any work after I finish College. I only need d three years to enjoy the life I chose. Is this really hard?” Axell said to his Dad in a very low tune, he's agitated but still remains calm. 

“My son, you’re the only one I have now and I’m too old to wait for 3 years. I know you want to prove yourself. But, you already did. Being a model  and singer while still studying is the greatest achievement anyone could ever have”. His dad said while wiping off his glasses.

“You have already proven me enough, so there’s no need for excuses. You’ll stop your modelling and singing career and work for me. It’s time for you to take over our businesses.” His dad firmly said this as if there’s no turning back.

“Dad, just 3 years, okay? Or 2? Okay, just a year! It’s final." Max pleaded his dad. 

“ No, my decision is final. But if you really insist, there is way to extend your freedom Agreement.” Max looked at his Dad intently and waiting what he is about to say.

He smiled, a smile that gives him a bad idea.

The news that he’s been trying to oppose since then.

Chapter 3: The condition

" No, and it's final. But if you really insist, there is way to extend your freedom Agreement." Max looked at his Dad intently and waiting what he is about to say.

He smiled, a smile that gives him a bad idea. A smile that made him shivers.

The news that he’s been trying to oppose since then.

" You must marry, Jigger's favorite daughter Sandra Deena Trevor. " His dad firmly said to him.

He guessed it right. It was for a Marriage proposal. A Marriage for convenience. He already heard this 7 years ago and that's why he decided to attend to a physical school rather than home schooling.

"Not again, I've heard this before and I told you many times that I'm not marrying someone I do not love." Max said.

If only his Dad will stop being such a busy body, he could have lived his life freely---and of course to love freely the way he always wanted to.

"I must fine a way to stop this". Max said on his mind. I still need to avenge myself from Sandee. He won't be able to do it if he has a wife.

"I totally understand you on this, Max. Do not worry, your marriage will only last for 2 years. We just need to make sure that Jigger can get back on business. But you can always extend or just go on with the marriage, you might fall for this girl, and forget your Ex. "

"can't you just support him without the marriage thing? it's not that you need him but he needs you. Don't he have a son and another daughter? surely they won't leave their father behind." Jigger Trevor is one of the World's richest man but due to his illness, his company is about to go bankrupt.

"They did, but they've already gone through enough, we are their best option, and it's not just about this bankruptcy that matters . This marriage has been decided for a long time, whether you marry her now or not, you will still end up marrying her in the future. Jigger has been my friend for 3 decades, he has helped me a lot with our business before plus you've been arranged with Sandra ever since Ma---" his dad has stopped and just stared at the wall and the environment was filled with sadness.

Max sighs and said " I know dad, I know. Just let me think about it, okay? you know exactly why I don't like being manipulated to. "

" I know son. Don't worry, I assure you that you'll be satisfied once you see Sandra. I only saw her once, but she's very beautiful and kind. You will surely love her, and we might not know, you'll be falling head over heals for her. Your marriage will not last a year but for a lifetime" His dad said happily.

"Yeah, right! But not on my watch." Max said smirking.

"Be careful, you might eat your words when you see her. She's definitely breath taking, I must say. I have her picture on my phone, Jigger sent it to me last night. He's daughter is still travelling, you can meet her next year". His father said while taking his phone out of his pocket

"hmmm where is it... Oh, found it!" Max was about to see the picture on his father's phone but Jigger's caller ID appeared on the screen.

"just a sec, I'll talk to him first. I'll talk to you later." his father answered the phone.

"Hey, Jigs! yup, I told him already

It been awhile since his father was talking to Jigger. He needs to go as he still have a scheduled rehearsal for his upcoming concert.

He waved and said goodbye silently. He father gave him an "ok" sign.

He went to the Studio started the rehearsal.

After an hour of rehearsing , he sits on the floor, wipes himself with a towel and grabbed a water.

While drinking, he received a message from his father, and got choked when he see the picture his father has sent him.

He can't believe his eyes has seen. It was the girl, he's been looking for. The girl who suddenly dumps him, the girl his been looking forward to see,

to seek REVENGE!
