In a small village in the out skirts of Texas, a young girl name Ava who was only 5 years old who was playing with her soft toys near her room's window that shows a marvelous view of mountains. She was a quite mischievous but pure of heart. She was her parents only child and apple of their eyes. Her parents absolutely loved her. She had a very beautiful house. Big enough for three people to comfortably live in. When she was playing she saw a car followed by a truck parked in their neighborhood driveway. She was delighted to see that she is having new neighbours. She pushed away all her toys and made her way towards her parents and told them about the neighbors. All three of them made their way to welcome them. There was this lady and her son Noah standing in front of their new house. When the three stand near them both mother and son turned their face towards them and introduced themselves. Ava was very happy to make a new friend. Ava and Noah were almost the same age. Ava's mother and Noah's Mother coincidentally found out to be her long last high school friend. Noah did not have his father because he died in an accident. Ava's parents helped them settle down and invited them for dinner. In this short period of time Ava and Noah already became friends. Noah was more like a quite child who likes to be by himself. He was not like this before but after his father died he started to keep things to himself. Both father and son were best buddies so his death was a big shock to Noah. After his death they wanted to start a new life that's why they decided to spend some of their time in a village. Ava was very persistent to get him into being friends with her so in the end he gave in but deep inside he was quite happy. They eventually became very close. Noah also started trusting her. They used to go to each other's houses very often it was like their second home. Their parents accepted them as their own children and they themselves became very close. It was like a big family. Ava and Noah since they were very small they both used to sleep, eat, bathe they mostly do everything together. They both went to the same school and were best friends. In the school many children tried to befriend Noah but he only to be with only friend Ava. As their houses were next to each other their room windows are in front of each other. They even made their own phone connecting with a thread. Through this they used to talk hours. As they started growing up they became inseparablly close. Ava was very happy to have Noah as her friend where as Noah wanted to become something more than a friend....

It was Ava's and Noah's middle school, Noah was quite popular because of his good looks but he only interested in his Ava. Ava was also popular of being beautiful because she did not covered her face make up. Due to this and because of being best friends with Noah many girls were very jealous of her. So whenever they get a chance they would bully her. But she would swallow her tears because she did not want to worry anybody due to her problems. That was one of the reason she did not like going to school. But she wanted to become a doctor that's why attending lessons was important to her.

In the morning

Ava's POV

'Uggghhhh..it's another day and now have to go to school and face those bullies i don't know what is my fault' . When she was getting ready she thought why haven't Noah called her yet (you know those string phones). She choose to ignore it because she thought he might be busy somewhere. When they both were on their way to school Noah was relatively quite. She thought 'What's wrong with him?' She asked him "Noah what is the matter with you, why are you so quite?" Suddenly Noah hugged her she was quite surprised. "Hey what are you doing, someone might misunderstand us, let go". She felt something wet on her shoulders then she knew that he was crying. 'Is he crying?' "Hey Noah, is everything alright?" "Please don't scare me". After some time he finally answered her that his mother and him are gonna shift to another place. After hearing him she also felt very sad. 'Am I gonna lose my only true friend?' But she tried to console him " Hey its alright, you are gonna come and visit me once in a while right?" "You shouldn't be so sad but you should help your mother".

"After school I will come over and help you pack alright". "Let's go to school first".

The same morning

Noah's POV

'Today I will finally tell Ava how much I like her. I am very excited. I'm sure she's gonna accept me i can feel that she also likes me'. As I was going downstairs for the breakfast my mom suddenly told me that we have to move. I stooped right in my tracks. I tried to confirm with her what I heard was right or not but unfortunately what I heard was correct. I was devastated. I finally had the courage to tell Ava about my true feelings but I think luck was not on my side. When I was walking school with Ava she asked me why I was so quite then I told her that I was going to live far away from her. I saw her face drop after hearing my news. She was very sad but tried to control her emotions and changed the subject saying that we were late for school. Rest of the way we both were quite we did not have courage to speak about anything....

Next Morning

Noah's POV

It was the day when I was moving out with my mom, I was packing my stuff then I come across with the pictures of me with Ava. I was going through from the pictures and I was remembering the day we went to amusement park, it was so much fun. My mom came into my room and sat beside me "We are going to miss this place." She said to me and at that moment I broke down I lay down into her lap and cried she just kept rubbing my head through her slender fingers. "I know you like Ava, I am so sorry but we have to move". Then I looked into her eyes. She said "I am your mother, I know the way you look at her I also want her to be my daughter- in -law, so you have to promise me that after growing up you will grow up as a gentleman and marry her." When she said those words I hugged her immediately and promised her "I will the man who is going to marry her, I promise you."

After that we packed our bags and were ready to move out. Outside my favorite person was standing with her head down with her parents. I give my goodbyes to my uncle and aunt and made my way towards her. "I promise one day I will come to you and then we will be together forever." After I said that she looked me into my eyes and stretched her pinky finger and said "Promise me". I sealed my promise with her and hug her, she returned my hug "I promise". Both of ours' parents were watching us with eyes full of tears.

Me and my mother boarded the car and went to our new destination. 'I will come back to get her, I am never letting her go'. I made this promise to myself and now I will become a very successful person so that she won't ever reject me.....

When Noah and his mother were leaving

Ava's parents' POV

Today Noah and his mother are gonna move out we are really gonna miss them but the person who is affected the most from this news is Ava she was really close to Noah. Yesterday she told us that Noah was gonna move out due to this immediately after coming from school she came to us and cried her heart out. She was still a small child so losing a friend affected her the most. When we were saying our goodbyes to Noah and his mom Noah came towards us said goodbye like a gentleman. We really liked that boy seeing both of so close we did not have objection so we were ready to accept him as our son-in-law, well we already knew that Noah liked Ava but today all our doubts were clear when both of them hugged. Well Ava only ment it as a friend because she was really oblivious to these type of things but Noah ment something else when he said that he is gonna come back for her. Even his mother told us that she is ready to accept Ava as her daughter-in-law. At that time.e we promised each other when our children grow up then they are gonna marry each other.
