Elise looked out the window of her classroom, while the teacher was speaking, and clearly head over heels with the new subject in his math class.

She didn't even bother to listen to what the teacher was saying, in her head were only one thing, she wanted to listen to and see, and that was the beautiful moon, plus she already knew the subject the teacher was talking about, so she didn't really need to pay attention. To her the moon was the most beautiful thing in the whole world, she loved it, she loved how it would shine at night, more bright than any star or sun, and how it seems to shine even brighter when she looked at it, from her telescope.

"Eli-" "Elis-" Elise!"

Huh?

She looked at the person who had just said her name and immediately blushed, not because it was some guy she had a crush on, no and for the record she didn't even know how to talk to boys and hadn't even had a boyfriend in her short sixteen years of life. The reason why she blushed was that the whole class stared at her, including a quite angry teacher.

" Elise I would appreciate it if you were to listening in my classes," the teacher said. Elise's face was as red as a tomato, when she bowed her head, as a silent apology. The rest of the class, Elise had no choice but to listen to what the teacher was saying because he kept looking at her, every five minutes.

And for the rest of the classes, the teachers were paying extra attention to Elise. And by the end of the day, she was already tired enough to take a nap. She was not the type to be the centre of attention.

Sup guys!  because chapter one is a bit short I will be talking a bit, and maybe I will give you guys a little sneak peek on the characters, but I will not upload pictures because I am pretty sure that I won't be able to find any that will match. But what I wanted to say was that English is not my first language, so there will be mistakes...Sorry about that!!

Okay, the female lead is Elise.

And the male lead it still unknown!!

The story is based on my friends and Is fantasy, so will probably be a bit funny..

Here is a bit of a tease!!

The girl grinned although her eyes were still a bit sad, she looked happy. " fufu~, do you wanna play as well? " The girl asked leaving Alya frozen, did she just ask her if she wanted to play poker? Poker with DEMONS!!

"..." She had nothing to say, so she just turned around, acting like she never saw that girl in the first place.

WHO IS THAT PERSON??!! FIND OUT LATER^^

Elise kept herself up, even though she was tired, and needed sleep, she wanted to see the full moon tonight. Her parents would come in her room, at eleven o'clock to see if she where asleep, so she had to wait for the right moment to sneak out of the house and run to the forest, for a better view.

at twelve o'clock, it was dead silent in the house, Elise jumped out of her bed as silent as she could, but it was hard cause it was so exciting. she then jumped out of her window, and landed on the ground, a perfect landing if she should say so herself. she ran all the way to the forest, just the thought of how pretty the moon would be, was enough to make her run even faster.

she stopped at an old tree, to get some air after running all she could.

she looked up at the stars, with eyes shining, but that glow would soon go out, and as she took one step, she heard a noise. " help!" help me!" Elise stopped up, to be sure that it was not her own imagination, but really a girl's cry for help.

when she heard it again, but lower this time, she rushed to where the cry could be heard loudest.

the sight she saw was breathtaking, it was a large waterfall, with water as clear as the blue sky, but the bottom of the water was dark and mysterious.

she was ripped out of her daydreaming and gaze when she heard the little girl's cry, but this time, it was like she was underwater, Elise looked down the water, and saw bubbles of air.

She had no time to think, it was like her body moved on its own, she dived down to the bottom, but found nothing but seaweed, she then swam up to the top again.

There where dead silent, no wind, no sound and not the girl's cry. It was like time stood still.

Elise was about to go out of the water when something grabbed her foot and pulled her down, she didn't even have time to breathe.

The thing pulled her to the bottom. She was in the pitch-black water, that was ice cold, with no chance of coming up to the surface, she tried hopelessly to move,  but was only wasting oxygen.

Her sight darkened, as she suffocated, at the blink of death she made a wish and an apology to her mother and father for being too curious. " I wish I could see the moon for one last time, and the next time to be the moon itself, And I am sorry mom and dad for always being too curious and always making you worry about me" she took her last time to think of the things she loved the most in this world, end she wished to be reborn in the moon, and as she died a white light came shining down on the forever sleeping girl.

Or not. In a world, far away, with magic and mystical creatures. in a forbidden forest, there where a beautiful clearing, and in the middle of that clearing a little silver ball was encircled by light.

It was a beautiful sight to behold. In the light of the moon, the little silver ball transformed into a baby, with eyes as black as the night sky, but with a red shine. In the top of the baby's head where little tots of silver hair. Although she was a baby, she looked like a little goddess of the moon, or like a princess.

The baby where gently put on the ground, like a mother would lie her baby in a cradle.

The baby was left on the ground all alone in the forbidden forest, apart from a certain old man, behind a tree.

The old man, named Atlas, was surprised when he suddenly detected someone in his forest. Someone that was not a magical creature.  Human but not completely human.

He was curious because almost no one would go into his forest. So he decided to go outside his house, to find the creature. A creature that he could not figure out what was.

He walked to a certain clearing to see the mystical sight. In the clearing, he saw a little silver ball transform into a baby that was embraced by the moonlight. Just like the moon was giving the baby girl a caring hug.

The old man was surprised to see the sight, because a ball of light transformed into a baby, and because you rarely saw the moon, it would only appear ones every tenth year.

Atlas walked over to the baby, lifted her into his arms and carried the sleeping baby to his home. Without knowing how much it would affect his life and fate.

Even though he had just met the baby girl, he would treat her like his own daughter and teach her about the world and its mysteries.

And because of the event with the moon and how he first saw the baby girl, he decided to call her Ayla, because of its meaning.

And through the next sixteen years, the moon appeared on one special day of the year.

the name Ayla means "halo of light around the moon"

and by the way, Atlas is actually not that old, I just like the words old man^^
