He walked inside the Café and saw that it was full. He walks toward the line of people who also want to order... While waiting for his turn he glances every surrounding looking for a vacant table. He was disappointed because he did not see any vacant table at all. He looked at his favorite spot and sighed "what a pity I really like that spot". 

It was his turn to order, the cashier asked him what would be his order "one big Café latte and a strawberry cake" he ordered. He gave his payment and waited for his order to be prepared. 

While holding the tray with his order he once again searched for a vacant table. Once again, he was disappointed, then he noticed his favorite spot. There is a girl sitting alone looking outside the window, watching the people walking. He thought that maybe he could share a table with her. 

He walks toward her and asks "can I share a table with you?“ the girl looked at her and replied "sure", and smiled. "Thank you" he said while thinking that the girl's smile was adorable. 

He sits in front of her, he looks at her and thinks of how beautiful the girl is, she has a pale skin, rosy cheeks that her red lips complimented it, and her pointed nose and the hazelnut brown color of her eyes sparkling that really suits her face with her black silky hair.  

He was mesmerized by how beautiful the girl in front of him was, that he did not notice that the girl was also looking at him...

When he came back with his sense "ahem!" he coughs and looks away feeling embarrassed "I.. I'm so… sorry it's just that I think you're beautiful"he blurted. 

He noticed what he said, blushes came out on his face and now he really felt so embarrassed. The girl smiled and laughed a little. He saw her expression and was amazed at how adorable the girl was. 

The girl drank her milk "is that what you ordered?" he asked. The girl looks at him with a confused expression "yes! I don't drink coffee" she replied. 

"ah!" he was going to apologize when the girl explained "I don't like it because of its bitter taste" then she pouted. 

"hahahahahaha!" he laughed because of the girl's expressions while she explained. "Why are you laughing?" the girl asked him. 

"Ah! Sorry… it… Just now your expression“he explained while wiping the tears in his eyes. The girl looked confused as to why the guy in front of him was laughing because of her expression. 

Minutes have past, because of his interaction with her they start talking about things like their interests and hobbies...

While drinking his coffee he remembered something. "ah! Jason Aku Albatross!" he said. The girl looked at him "my name" he said "Aku…" he was shocked at what she said but smiled "hmm… Yours?" he asked. "Zara Alaine Passerines" she replied. 

Aku looked at his watch and saw the time. He immediately drinks his coffee and eats his cake. He stood up and said "I need to go! Nice meeting you miss Passerines" he smiled and walked away. 

He stopped and looked at her "will I be able to meet you again?" he asked her. She looks at him and replies "hmm… I will be here the same time and day next week" he smiled and continued to leave. Alaine who was left behind smiled and picked up her phone. 

...

In the campus Aku who is in a hurry walks inside the room. "Jason you're almost late" his friend said "sorry Damon, I did not notice the time" Aku said with a cute face. 

"Disgusting bro" Damon said, feeling disgusted at his friend. Aku laughed while Damon smirked "something happened?“. Aku stopped laughing and murmured "shit, this guy is sharp" and walked toward his desk. 

Damon follows Aku "What happened bro?… you're keeping secret to your best friend!" he said while slapping Aku's back. "you can not do that bro, I know you well!" Damon said while smiling and continuing slapping Aku's back. 

Aku is regretting his actions. Because of his actions his friend realized that something happened today on why  he is almost late. Truthfully, Aku never was late before because he always goes to school thirty minutes early, but now he was almost late by a second.

The professor walks inside the classroom and starts with his lecture… Aku was a second year college student in the university and in the business management course. 

While the professor was lecturing Damon looking at Aku with the expression "you need to tell me what happened today". 

Aku is bitterly smiling at him and has no choice but to tell him the girl he met. It is not that he wants to keep it a secret but he really thinks it is a bother to talk about it. 

Aku who was sitting in front of his study table was in deep thought, he was remembering his meeting with Zara in Dez Café. 

"sign…" Damon noticed his best friend and roommate in deep thought. "Dude, do you have a problem?" he asked while looking at his friend who keeps being silent, and did not notice that Damon is calling him. 

"Jason!... Jason!... Bro?!" Damon keeps calling him but Aku does not hear anything like he was in another world. "JASON! BRO WAKE UP!" Damon shouts beside the ear of Aku.

Aku who was startled fell in his chair, he looked at his friend "Why are you shouting bro!". Damon looked at his friend sitting on the floor and smirked "Well… Nothing really…" Aku who is standing glare at his friend. 

"Bro don't look at me like that!" Damon said teasingly. "I looked at you like this because it is your fault JERK!“ Aku said in his mad tone while sitting back on his seat. 

"Bro why are you mad? I called you many times but you did not budge at all" Damon said with a face that was wronged. Aku dumbfounded, looked at his friend and then continued what he was working on. 

Damon walked toward his bed and looked at his best friend. He smiled and looked at his phone. "Feeling embarrassed bro?" Damon asked while doing something on his phone.

Aku looked at his best friend who was texting someone "not really… Should I tell your girl that you are bullying me?" Aku said with a teasing tone. 

Damon suddenly looked at Aku with his shocked expression. "What with the face?" Aku asked in confusion looking at his friend's dumbfounded face. 

"Well the word 'my girl' really sounds great" Damon smiled and looked back at his phone. 

"..." Aku, who is looking at his friend was dumbfounded by what his friend said. Aku did not say anything but when he heard his friend say those words his body shivered in disgust. ...

...

Next day... Aku, who is  in bed suddenly, was hugged by his friend Damon. "What the heck bro stop that!“ Aku, who is still feeling sleepy, became awake because of the action of his friend. 

Aku felt disgusted at his friend's action, his friend slapping his back "Hahaha! I was busy yesterday and forgot to ask you something" Damon said while smiling at his friend. 

Aku, who was feeling irritated, looked at his friend while pushing him away, "what?". Damon who knew that his friend smirked "spill the beans bro… Who is the person you are thinking of yesterday?“ Damon asked, teasing Aku in the morning. 

Aku who was hit off guard looked at his bully friend thinking ‘it is still early in the morning why is this jerk making me mad’. 

"Then why are you spacing out yesterday?" Damon asked once again and once again hugged his friend. "Bro will you stop!" Aku who is getting angry said… "and I am not spacing out yesterday!".

Damon let go, Aku and moved a little he looked at Aku with disbelief "but I called you many times and did not respond at all". 

Aku who looked at his friend "I am not spacing out… I was thinking of our project, cause someone is not helping me" he said, defending himself. 

Damon looked at Aku with disbelief "you won't deceive me bro" Damon said and he walked out in the room. 

...

Aku was preparing his things for his first class. "Bro, it's been a week since you went to Dez Café..." Damon said, leaning at the door while waiting for his friend to finish up. 

"..." Aku kept silent, focusing on what he was doing. "It's also been a week since you saw your princess" Damon added. 

Aku stops preparing his things and looks at his friend Damon and asks "princess?". "Yeah! Bro your princess, the one you have met at Dez Café. The reason why you are spacing out yesterday" Damon said teasing Aku…

Aku finished preparing. He looked at Damon seriously "I am not spacing out yesterday!“ straighten up and fix his clothes. They both went out to their room. 

"I just said the truth Bro. Well I know you fell in love with her at first sight" Damon said while smiling. "Bro I did not, I just think she was beautiful!" Aku said, defending himself from Damon as they walk in the corridor. 

"Bro, that is called LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" Damon said and slapped Aku's back "cough\*, Bro it hurts… I don't see her in a romantic way, she is just a F\-R\-I\-E\-N\-D, friend" Aku said with a serious tone. 

Damon stopped teasing Aku, he knew that if his friend did not say it like that it only means it did not. Aku is a straightforward person, he always speaks what is in his mind. Damon knew that if ever Aku falls in love he will tell him and ask for his advice, that is the guy Aku is. 

Damon smirked and said "Okay bro, you win… I trust you. But you know… Maybe, just maybe sooner or later you might fall in love with her" Aku looked at his friend with a confused expression. 

It was Aku's first time seeing Damon like that and hearing what he said with his serious look seems new. Aku suddenly thinks what Damon said "... might fall in love…".

Aku opened the door of DEZ Café , he walked inside and went to the counter to order. Today Café has a few customers unlike the last time he went. 

"Café latte and Strawberry cake" he ordered. The cashier taps his order to the computer and asks "Is that all sir?". 

"Yes" Aku answered the cashier, he gave his payment "Wait for a moment there sir" the cashier pointed to the claiming area. 

Aku went to the area and waited for his order. He looked around the Café to search for a vacant table. He saw that his favorite spot was already taken but next to it was empty...  

"Too bad, it is once again taken..." Aku said and let out a sigh of disappointment. He walks toward the empty seat next to it. 

He put the tray to the table when he noticed that the person sitting in his favorite spot is Zara. "Miss Passerines?" he asked , Zara took off her mask, she was wearing a disposable mask. 

Zara looked at him "Aku!" she responded with a smile. Aku smiled back at her "I didn't recognize you..." Zara looked at her face mask "Ah!" Zara noticed what Aku said... 

"Would you mind sharing a seat with you?" Aku asked Zara, pointing his finger in the empty seat in front of her. Zara smiles and nods at him "I don't mind" she said. 

He gets his tray and walks toward the empty seat in front of her, he puts his tray on the table and sits in the chair. "I did not see you last week" Zara said while holding her pen. 

"Last week?...Ah! I was busy doing our projects..." Aku explained, Zara looked at him "OH! I thought last week you will be there because of what you said, the last time we meet" Zara said, she did expect to meet Aku last week. 

Zara was a bit disappointed that Aku did not go to the Cafe last week. "Did you wait?" Aku asks, feeling guilty , "hmm... a little, but it's okay" Zara said with a smile.

Few minutes later, Aku feels the awkward silence, their conversation in an awkward way. Aku did not know how to respond to her so he kept silent, but he couldn't stand it. 

Aku, thinking for a new topic to converse, saw she was writing something in the notebook. "What are you writing?" Aku asked Zara, Zara stop writing on her notebook and looked at his "Bucket list" she said. 

"Bucket list? can I see?" Aku asked, he was intrigued and wanted to see what kind of things she wants to do. Zara nods in agreement, she gave the notebook to him. He saw the content

BUCKET LIST:

1.I want to have a friend

2.I want to go to the amusement park with my friend 

3.I want to go to the Aquarium

4.I want to go the mall with my friend (shopping and watching movie),

5.I  want to go to the beach and watch the sunset 

6.I want to try to visit a school…

Aku who is reading the notebook asks "You want to have a friend?" Zara, who was drinking her milk, looked at him. "Sorry!" Aku said as soon as he realized his being rude. 

"It's fine, and yes I want to have a friend," Zara said, not noticing Aku's expression. "I thought we are friends" Aku said without noticing that he said out loud what was on his mind. 

He realized what he said, he was embarrassed he looked at Zara wanting to know her expression. Zara, on the other hand, didn't notice that her tears were falling. 

Aku didn't know what to do, he was shocked at the reaction of Zara who was now crying in front of him. "Did I say something wrong?" Aku said, panicking as to what to do. 

He did not know what to do in this kind of situation, he gave his handkerchief to Zara who was crying. "Thank you! I was overjoyed… I thought you never wanted to be my friend because you did not come last week" Zara explained.

"What are you saying… I never thought of that" Aku said, wanting to touch Zara but did not dare touch her. 

Zara wiped her tears and said "you keep calling me… Miss Passerines…" Aku stops her "Well I… I did not know what to call you" Aku defended himself. "Zara… Just call me Zara" Zara said while smiling. 

Aku was mesmerized by Zara's smile, he dazed for a moment, and said with a smile "Then you achieved number one in your bucket list… As Your friend I will help you achieve the rest". Zara who is looking at Aku smiled again "Thank you… Aku"... 

Aku who is startled at the expression of Zara was amazed on how she changes her face reaction. He thought at first that Zara was a serious person because most of the time Zara responded to him with a blank expression. 

Then suddenly Zara would respond to him smiling. "Zara you really are an interesting girl!" Aku said. Zara who is writing on her notebook caught off guard at what she heard. 

She felt embarrassed about what Aku said. Aku who did not realize was confused by her reaction.
