We Meet Again, Uchiha

"Who are you?" a thinly man holding a blunt sword.

"I'm not interested in fighting you, neither are you worthy of me giving your name. Now begone. I have important matters to attend to. I shouldn't be wasting time and my precious energy." Fuyu said, ignoring the ugly bandit that stood in front of her. 

"Give me your money or die!" he said, charging.

"Oh dear me, I don't have the money. I guess I'll have to fight you then." she said as if she was getting tired of it, knocking the bandit out cold with a single clean hit in the stomach. 

She dusted off her robes and continued walking on the Land of Fire.

She kept on walking and then eventually stopped by to a near dango stall.

"What could I get for you, miss?" a middle-aged man that from the looks of it, the owner asked Fuyu.

"3 sticks of mitarashi and water please. I'm parched." Fuyu said.

"Have you heard? There are some rumors that this organization — The Akatsuki is going around the world on a hunt for tailed beast." A women who was indigenous said.

"Is that so? Say, don't we have a jinchuriki at the Leaf Village?" A man said.

"Naruto Uzumaki? The one who has the 9 tails?" A third one, who was apparently a stranger for the two, popped up in the conversation.

"Then the village won't be safe! They'll come for us." The second one panicked.

"Relax. I heard that they are doing their best to keep the village safe." The woman said.

"I heard that one of the surviving Uchiha, — Uchiha Itachi joined the Akatsuki." The third man said.

Hearing this, Fuyu didn't care until he heard the name 'Itachi Uchiha'. It brought her back memories of their meeting.

"Miss? Miss? Miss?" a waiter said, waving his hand in front of Fuyu.

"Something wrong?" he asked.

"Ah, I'm sorry. Looks like I spaced out for a second there." She gave a dry smile.

"Well, doesn't matter. Here's your food." He said, handing her a plate of dangos.

"Thank you." She said as she gave the waiter a tip.

She ate without paying attention to the food. She drank water and after a big gulp, she thought, I guess I'll see Itachi Uchiha.

She went out and continued on her meaningless journey.

"So, we're going after Uzumaki Naruto from your village. Tell me, Itachi on what the village is like. If I'm not mistaken, your brother resides there." a ninja with blue skin and pointy teeth said.

Fuyu, who was behind a bush, recognized him as one of the 7 swordsmen of the hidden mist, Hoshigaki Kisame. He had a giant sword slung across his back. Itachi looked at the direction of where Fuyu was hiding

"Come out. I know you've been hiding there." Itachi said with a steely voice

"Guess I have no choice." Fuyu stood up to face the two Akatsuki members.

"Uchiha Itachi and Hoshigaki Kisame. It's an honor to meet you." Fuyu said and gave a smile, a genuine one, perhaps?

"Or rather, Uchiha Itachi, it's an honor to meet you again" Fuyu continued and as she did, her genuine smile slowly turned brooding.

"You know this brat, Itachi?" Kisame said, amuses by the girl's changing of expression.

"Yes. But she is irrelevant to me. Let's go now, Kisame. We shouldn't waste time." Itachi said and ignored Fuyu.

"Itachi, can't we stop here for a while? This girl really piques my interest. You called her irrelevant yet you remember her. That isn't like you, Itachi." Kisame said.

"How about a little exchange of attacks? Maybe that will help on knowing each other." Kisame said and gripped his sword.

"Kisame" Itachi gave a little grunt.

"Oh come on? Why don't you just go ahead. I might as well have fun. I've been bored out of my skull from traveling but the most we've interacted with are weaklings. I can sense that she has powerful chakra. Samehada is getting hungry." Kisame said, tightening his grip to the sword.

"Maybe I will. Catch up with you later. And remember; don't underestimate her. That is all." Itachi said and started to leave.

"So, Itachi said not to underestimate you. Samehada would love to eat you." Kisame said.

"Samehada, samehada, samehada. You must be very attached to your sword." Fuyu said.

Kisame lunged and attacked, Samehada in hand. Fuyu simply stepped aside and held her finger out. It snapped and bled.

"I see. So it absorbs chakra." Fuyu said and sucked her bloodied finger.

"Samehada is saying that your chakra is different" Kisame said.

"Is that so? So, tell me, how does it taste like? I'm quite curious." Fuyu said.

"How do I put it? It tastes different. The same thing when you eat something exotic." Kisame said.

Fuyu chuckled "Thank you. I'll take that as a compliment."

Kisame attacked again and Fuyu took out a blunt sword and parried his attack. The sword broke to pieces as it met Samehada but it bought her time to move away.

"I'm broke. How am I supposed to buy a new one, then?" Fuyu sighed, apparently, unsatisfied on how her sword got broken.

"Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu" Kisame said and hurled a jutsu at her.

Fuyu spaced out and froze for a second. She was hit by the jutsu and was paralyzed, trapped by the water. Kisame lunged and his sword hit her abdomen. It bled and she groaned in pain.

She dropped down suddenly to her knees, driven by her subconscious. She then stood up, realizing the situation at hand.

"Earth Military Movement Technique!" she said and sank to the floor and fled the battle.

Fuyu hid in the ground and ran until she was out of breath.

She went up and was chasing her breath. She has to do something about her schizophrenia.

She let out a sharp exhale. Now that she knows that this 'Akatsuki' is after jinchuriki, she will be looking at their plans. She was a third party. Isn't in any village or organization. Just a person that isn't noticed that much.

The image of a beast that channels your inner demons terrifies her. That's why she spaced out and was shocked at the battle with Kisame.

As a final resolve, she went to the hidden Leaf.

"I am the village's handsome devil, Rock Lee! Behold the power of youth!" a boy about 2-3 years younger  than her with a bowl cut said while doing the squats.

She was baffled by this man and approached him. "Hey, is this the Leaf Village?" she asked casually.

Rock Lee went into a stance and raised his right arm, his left foot in front. "I haven't seen you here before, are you new?" he said.

"Well yes, but you remind me of one of my old acquaintance from here too. Do you know of a guy in the ANBU named Gin? I sorta forgot his full name." she asked.

"Hm," Lee scratched his head and said "No, I haven't heard of him. I don't know that many people from ANBU. But if you want I may take you to the Hokage."

"Yes please. I'm new here and I get lost easily." she said and sighed.

"Okay!" Lee said and struck a 'Nice Guy' pose.

"You use Taijutsu, don't you?" Fuyu asked while walking to the Hokage's HQ.

"Yes. How did you know?" Lee said.

"I'm not very good at guessing. But Gin does that stance too, everytime he's on attack." she said.

"Is that so? You two must be great friends." Lee smiled.

"Well, yes."

"We're here!" Lee said and approached the Hokage's office.

"Huh? What is it? There is still no Hokage. We just recovered form the attack of Orochimaru." Utatane, the elder said.

"Well, you see. A traveler came here. She said that she will see her old friend. Isn't that right?" Lee said.

"Yes." she said simply.
