“Hah hah hah…” I was gasping for some air, I woke up full of sweat and there were tears in my eyes. I remember my dream, a dream of my friend dying. My dream feels so real, She was just alone… Did she jump from the cliff? That is the question in my head.

While I was sitting in my bed, my phone vibrated. Someone is calling me, I pick it up. “I am already up, don't worry” I said to the phone.

Me and my friends are meeting up in a cafe near my house. It’s been awhile since I met with them. I am a little bit busy at my work as a clerk in one of the most famous companies in the country.

I am Nica Garcia, twenty seven years old, single and living alone in a small apartment I bought using my two years of savings.

My family is in another city, that is why I lived alone. My father and two sisters lived together while my mom is working abroad. Well I always call them but I didn’t see them for almost a year… I guess.

I got out of the bed and went to the bathroom. After I took a bath I prepared some oatmeal for my breakfast and a hot cocoa.

Twenty five minutes have passed since I went out of my apartment. I am almost at the cafe where I would meet my friends.

I get out of the taxi after paying the driver. I went inside the cafe and looked around to look for my friends. While looking around I spotted my friend who was in a pigtail, she was wearing a dress. Though she was also wearing eyeglasses and playing with her smartphone.

“Chelsea! where are the others?” I went toward her. She looked at me with a blank face. “On their way… I guess…” She responded.

‘I guess?’ that's what she said, she was not sure?. I was thinking when someone jumped on my back. “Nica!” Christine shouts, her smile was so big.

Christine is wearing a short and a blouse. She was also wearing an eyeglass but unlike Chelsea, her hair is shorter that is why she isn’t wearing anything on her hair.

“Tin! you are heavy!” I said, struggling to carry her at my back. “Because you are so petite” she said while going down on my back with a big smile.

“Nica! Tin you are late!” Joy said she and the others went out of the restroom. Nica looked at Chelsea who said ‘on their way’

“Joy, Alyssa, and Janica… I am not late. I came here on time and asked Chelsea” I defend myself. Alyssa was the one who called in the morning. She was wearing a T-shirt and jeans just like me. While Janica was wearing a fitted dress and Joy was wearing a skirt and hanging blouse.

“Hehe! I am late for a minute” Christine said, her character is always playful. Well she looked just like a child which is appropriate with her height.

While drinking and talking with each other, I looked at Chelsea on the side who was in her own world not joining with the others. She was not really like this when we are just the two of us. She was cheerful and a devil. Devil in a way, she was a bully.

I looked at her and remembered my dream this morning. I saw her jump off the cliff. Now that I think about it in a far distance I saw a person but her face was kind of blurry.

“Then it is settled. We are going hiking this weekend!” Janica said she loves nature by the way that is why she was excited.

“Then we will meet at the apartment of Nica at three o’clock a.m” Joy said.

I guess I need to take a leave this weekend. It’s good to take a leave sometimes so that I won’t overworked myself.

I went to the supermarket after hanging out with my friends. I never thought that I would see him in the supermarket. My first crush in highschool, Allen Claine.

He was so handsome that many girls have crushed on him. Well I didn’t like him because he was handsome. He was once a friend of mine, so I knew him. The truth is he was my childhood friend. He was still a friend but I don’t have any contact with him this past few months like my other friends.

Even though he was popular with all the girls… There was only one girl he liked, and that was my friend Chelsea. He courted her in highschool for almost two years.

Chelsea was a naive girl and dumb about love. Though to others she was sharp and could read the atmosphere. Another thing that Allen Claine courted her for two years because Chelsea knew my feelings for Allen Claine.

When we were in highschool at first I thought Chelsea liked studying and reading, I was wrong she loves anime and manga. Well she loves reading but not reading books for education but manga.

I also learned that Chelsea is not quite as he portrays in the class, she was so energetic and moody at the same time. She was also Lazy as hell, that is why sometimes it was hard talking to her.

Even though it looks like she was not paying attention to others, that is not really it because she was an observant very good observant.

“Nica?” I looked at where the voice came from. It was Chelsea, I think she was with Allen Claine. I smile and walk towards them.

“Hahahaha… I guess fate brought us together!” Chelsea said while smiling. She was in her hyper mode. “Chelsea! Allen!” I just called their name.

“Nica! It’s been a while, I saw your little sister last week when I went to visit my mom” Allen Claine said while smiling. I was dazed by his smile. I didn’t notice them talking to me.

“Nica?” Allen Claine called, I looked at him then I looked at Chelsea. She was looking at me in her lazy mode. I think she saw my reaction towards Allen Claine.

“I need to go!” I said I think I made Chelsea sad. She was looking at me normally but I could see in her action that she was sad.

“Ah! okay… we are also on our way to the counter to pay” Chelsea said while smiling at me. This was a bit awkward.

“I forgot!” Allen said while looking as if he remembered something. He looked at Chelsea and whispered to her. Chelsea then rummaged through her bag and took out an envelope. She handed it to Allen Claine.

“Here! this is an invitation for our wedding… I think Chelsea forgot to give it to you and your friends this morning” Allen Claine handed over the wedding invitation.

I was shocked to hear that both of them will marry each other. I thought it would be two to five years more before Allen Claine would propose to Chelsea.

I accept the invasion and bid farewell to the couple.
