It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Naomi was sleeping on her cozy and comfortable bed with her bedsheet up to her chin.
Suddenly her phone rang waking her up in a jolt. Her hand reached to the bedstand and grabbed her phone that still kept on ringing.
She, with her eyes closed, as she struggled waking up, picked up the phone without noticing the Caller ID.

*open her eyes at Anastasia's voice* Ana?

Are you ready? We are getting late for the event! *reminding her*

Once she was done, she walked out of her apartment building waiting for Anastasia to come. Few minutes later, Ana came, she settled inside and they drove off to their destination
A young man, in his late 20s was sitting with his legs crossed on a chair. His hands joined together on the desk, as he showcased a cold aura in the room.
Every individual sitting in the conference room had their head hung down.

Julian's jaw was tightened and his closed fist just slammed the mahogany table hard, that the people there flinched at his sudden reaction.

As soon as they left, Julian stood up and left the room without looking back. The remaining men breathed a sigh of relief and went back to their work.
Whereas, Julian walked towards his cabin and sat on his chair. He began working, when there was a knock on his door.

Enter *cold tone, not looking up from his papers*

He heard a familiar voice and looked up to find a toddler running to him with a sparkling eyes and smile.
Julian reached his desk and picked him up in his arms.

What are you doing here? And who brought u here? *smiling*
Alexander Walker
Asher uncle brought me here! *point at Asher standing at the threshold of the cabin*
Asher Walker

Julian Walker
*cold stare* Why did u brought him here? You know it's not a place for children to be here!

Brother, I know that. But mom asked me to bring you and Alex to that orphanage event. *sighs*

What event? I'm not going to any event! *Frowns*

Do u think it's up to u to say no? Mom would kill u before u even say it. So be a good boy and come with us *grins at Julian*

*Thinking, then sighs* I guess you are right. Mom would chase me with sandles until I reach the venue. *shivers at the thought*

*Sigh* Come on, let's go.
As we walked downstairs, I saw a woman entering the building. She walked liked a model and was looking around. When she glanced at me, she stopped and giving a huge smile ran to me.
At this moment, I knew she was aiming at me. She was almost near to me, but me being me stood there stunned.
Suddenly, I felt someone pulled me towards them and when I turned my head it was brother.

*face slammed to the floor* Ahhh!!!!

*relieved a big sigh*
I thanked my brother with my eyes, bcoz I didn't want to give him the satisfaction and second I'm too egoistic to say it.

I see some guys from my company helping her up, but she swatted their hands away.

No one knew what Asher was thinking, he just couldn't take the thought that someone like Clara, not only dared to question him but also screamed at him.

*shakes his head at his brother's mischievousness*
Julian turns to Clara and looks at her with a hard glare.

Clara get out before I tell my guards to escort you out.
Clara Morgan
Julian *shocked* How can you say that? I'm your fiancée
Julian Walker
I don't accept you as one. My grandparents made a mistake. *glare at her*

Now Leave before I make you.
Clara left the place in anger and made a mental note to take her revenge.

Let's go, we are getting late. *sat inside the car and drove away with Alex and Asher*

Julian finally reached the venue along with Asher and Alex. Just when they were about to enter, Julian got a call from his office

You guys go, I'll come after I finish my call *cold tone*
Asher Walker
*Nods, went inside with Alex*
When they went inside they saw a woman talking with a sister. They instantly went to them and stood behind the woman

Mom!! *tap her shoulder and smile at her*

*turns to him and smiles* You guys are here 😃

Grandma!! *lunges at his grandma*

*takes him in his arms* Hi, my little baby! *kiss his forehead*

*looks around and her smile fades* Where is he? Didn't I tell you to bring him? *Frowns*

Grandma, daddy went to attend a call, he said he'll come when he finishes his call. *said excitedly*

Oh okay! Alex, there are so many children here, if you want you can play with them, okay?

Yes!! I'm so excited. I'm going to make new friends, Grandma! *says in cheerful tone*

Naomi and Ana were helping the sister with the decorations.
Naomi was assigned with the task of offering food services to the guests while Ana was with the children.
As she turned to take the tray to the guest, she saw a boy running towards her and his foot hit the stone making him fall just few feet away from her.

*gasped and ran to the boy to help him up*

*whines in pain and tears fall from his eyes*

Little boy, ssh calm down, you are fine, okay!
Naomi picks him up and heads inside the Orphanage. She asks the caretaker for first aid kit. The caretaker soon returns and she quickly bandages Alex's knees which had a little scratch.
By the time, Alex had calmed down because of Naomi's coaxing.

Are you fine, little boy? *smiles at him*
Alexander Walker
Yes...*nods his head and looks down in shyness*
Naomi chuckles looking at him being shy. Naomi asked him some questions to make him comfortable with her.

What's your name?
Alexander Walker
Dada says not to tell your personal information to strangers *looks at the children playing*

*chuckles* Well you are smart and obedient. And so cute. *pinches his cheek*
