Outside, the royal guards' voices rang through the night.

The crowd erupted in joy. People waved and cheered as their sovereign rode past on his great black horse—the same beast that had carried him into battle.

King Mohara Norindra, ruler of Norindra Korak

Kingdom, looked every inch the monarch: tall,

commanding, proud.

His armor concealed much of his face, but his people recognized the strength and calm in his bearing.

Raising one hand, he acknowledged them with the poise of a true ruler.

The sky had darkened, light rain was pouring and torchlight flickered against the rain. The King handed his horse to the stableman and strode forward,

his armor gleaming beneath the wet flame-light.

The King is back... Her heart raced. I don't know if it's excitement or nerves. But I know one thing—I'm glad he's home.

Malis Holding an umbrella, she walked forward through the drizzle. Her hands trembled slightly, but her posture remained serene and elegant. When she reached him, she bowed deeply.

"Your Majesty, I'm so glad to see you return," she said softly. "Welcome home, my King, and congratulations on your victory. You have protected our land once again. You must be exhausted—please, allow me to hold the umbrella for you."

Her hands shook as she lifted it over him.

"I'm glad you are well, my queen," he replied, his voice deep and steady.

Follow behind were Ministers and nobles, they stepped forward to pay their respects.

When the ministers and generals withdrew, he turned back to the queen.

"My queen, let me hold that."

The tone of his voice sent a shiver down her spine. Then the king took the umbrella from her, he held it above them both as they walked toward the palace doors. The royal servants and royal bodyguards

followed.

"Let's go," he said quietly. Just that the King walking without baiting an eyes or say anything else to his wife, and put on his stern face that he normally have.

Malis bit her lips, but she got used to that, a side from that, now the king was helding the umbrella for them both, Her face warmed, uncertain whether it was love or duty that made her heart flutter.

Inside, the royal maids had already prepared the bath.

"Your Majesty, the bath is ready."

"Please come in and rest," she said.

"Good." The king went inside the bath room.

The bathroom glowed softly with candlelight. The scent of flowers lingered in the air, and warm water filled the great marble tub, scattered with rose petals and oils.

The queen remained nearby, she and the royal guards carefully removed the King's heavy armor.

The armor is so heavy. She thought. I can't imagine how hard it must be for him.

For the king only those the King trusts may touch his royal amore and that’s why the queen was there to help him too.

When the amore was gone, the queen help untie the other royal outfit. Her hands trembled slightly, yet she kept her composure. She wrapped a large towel around his waist once the attire was gone.

When the towel was secured, the king sat down and the queen poured warm water, and she gently let it run over his shoulders. After that the King stepped into the bath, sinking into the perfumed water.

The maids bowed and quietly left, leaving only the King and the Queen, as tradition required.

Kneeling beside the tub, she took the natural soap and began to wash his back.

This will take some time—not because he's unclean, but because he deserves care and rest. His body... it's strong, his back so broad compared to my small hands.

He closed his eyes, the room filled only with the sound of rippling water and the faint perfume of flowers.

After a long silence, his deep voice broke the stillness.

"How is the prince doing?"

The King and the queen were at the royal bathroom, the room fill with fresh soap. When the king bath, the queen stay nearby to help him. King Mohara leaned back slightly in the warm bath, his deep voice echoing softly through the candlelit room.

"How is my prince doing?" he asked.

Queen Malis's heart fluttered at his question.

"The prince is doing well, Your Majesty," she replied gently. "He's in the chamber—perhaps playing alone by now."

The king's lips curved into a faint smile.

The King and the queen already had their first prince, the prince is one year old.

"I hope he still remembers me." The king said

hopefully his son still remember him since they haven't met for long.

Hearing those words, Malis felt a quiet ache in her heart—a mix of pride and sadness.

Even if we aren't an affectionate couple, she thought, he's still a father to my son. He must have missed him dearly. The same for the prince, sometime he was making a strange face like he was waiting for

someone he used to know, of course, he must be

curious where his father was.

The queen bite her lip to shut down her sad feeling and continue her work.

After a minutes of silent, the king spoke again.

"And you my queen?" the king continued. "How have you been these days? Has your duty worn you out?"

"I'm doing well, Your Majesty," Malis answered softly. "My duties are not tiring. Though I worried for our kingdom, I always believed in you. I'm truly grateful that you've protected our land and people." Malis wanted to said more, but she couldn't speak the word out loud so she just said. "And... I'm thankful you're here your majesty."

His expression softened, a small but genuine smile breaking through his composed face.

"Then I hope you no longer worry," he said.

"The kingdom is safe now, and I am here."

"Yes, Your Majesty, I feel safe when your here. When you were far away i really mis- " Malis shut herself up immediately when she almost slip the word out.

What wrong with me, did I almost said I miss him, Ahhh— my mouth should shut up. What will the King think of me if I said that.

"What were you going to say, why don't you continue". The king wanted her to completed word, he himself wanted to make sure he didn't misheard what she said.

Malis hesitated before she could fine something to say. What should I say now, the king didn't misheard it. Then Malis come up with something else.

"I mean when you were at the war, I'm so worried, I always wish you were safe and well, your majesty."

That was true I'm really worried about his safety and wish he were safe.

The king replied. "Is that all?"

That's all? My-- Heaven he won't stop until I clear out the last word I said.

After that Malis continue. "The prince- the prince miss you everyday, your majesty."

That's all I can say, but the prince must miss his father too--.

"Well I'm glad, my son miss me." He smile

He is and I- I, did I really miss-- the King? Did I? Maybe I was so worried about him, that i wish he can come back to our kingdom.

Put away her thought, She continued washing from his back to his shoulders, her hands careful and light.

Suddenly when Malis reach to his chest , the king reached out and took her hand. Malis froze, startled by his touch.

"I told you that you don't need to help me bath," he said quietly. "The servants can do it."

Her heart began to race.

"I'm fine, truly," she replied, lowering her eyes. "I'm happy to assist you, Your Majesty."

The king studied her quietly for a moment, he notice her hands were a bit shaky, her face was light red and her movement was unsteady.

"You're still as shy as before," he murmured.

His teasing tone made her cheeks flush crimson. She lowered her gaze, trying to hide her embarrassment.

"I'll try to steady myself Your Majesty," she whispered. "Please forgive me."

Before she could look away, the king gently lifted her chin with his fingers, guiding her to meet his dark, steady gaze.

"There is nothing to be embarrassed about," he said softly. "It is natural for a woman to feel shy. Do not hide your face.

I did not mean to make you uncomfortable—I only wish you would not push yourself too hard."

Her breath trembled, but she nodded.

"I understand, Your Majesty."

"Good," he replied. "Please help me wash quickly. I want to see the prince."

At those words, her nervousness vanished completely. Her heart lifted—the king wanted to see their son.

"Yes, Your Majesty!" she said with a small smile.

The true was that the king wanted to meet the little prince since he arrived, but he afraid that he was

unclean and will harm the prince, so he had to bath first before seeing his child.

After a while, the king stepped out of the bath, and the queen helped him dry his body and help him dress in a fresh royal robe.

"You are ready, Your Majesty." Malis face still red from being shy.

"Thank you, Queen. Let us go see the prince." The king replied.

When they exited the bath, several servants were waiting outside.

"Your Majesty," said the old maid, bowing deeply, "we've prepared dinner for you and the queen. Would you like to have your meal now?"

"I will dine later," the king replied. "For now, I wish to see my son."

"As you wish, Your Majesty."

They walked together to the chamber.

The royal guards and nannies bowed as the king and queen approached.

"Has the prince cried?" Malis asked.

"He might be playing alone, Your Majesty," said the nanny. "But we haven't heard him cry."

"Really? Then let us see him."

The guard opened the door, and the large golden

handles turned silently.

Inside, the little prince sat on the king's grand bed, playing quietly with his toys. When he heard footsteps, he turned—and his face lit up with a bright smile.

Malis hurried to him, her heart swelling with love when she saw her son smile.

"My prince, you're playing alone! And not crying at all—what a smart boy you are."

The prince giggled, reaching out his tiny hands.

"Mama!" he called happily.

Episode 3

The prince had already been awake for a while, quietly playing with his toys. He didn’t cry or fuss—he simply waited, patient and calm, as if he knew his parents would come soon.

When the door finally opened, he turned his head quickly. His eyes sparkled as he saw two familiar faces.

''Mama! Mama!'' he called out in a bright voice.

Queen Malis’s heart melted at the sound. She hurried to the bed and lifted her son gently into her arms.

''Yes, my prince,'' she said lovingly. ''Are you hungry? Did you miss Mother? You’re such a smart boy—not crying at all and playing all by yourself. ''

The prince giggled and clung to her neck, making soft, happy sounds. Malis kissed his forehead tenderly,

almost forgetting that the king stood nearby, watching them with a calm yet gentle gaze.

''My Prince,'' she said softly, ''your father has returned. Let’s greet him properly.''

She turned toward the king, still holding her son close.

''Your Majesty, the prince must have been waiting for you too. He’s so patient—as if he knew you wanted to see him.''

Prince Harak looked curiously at the tall man before him. For a moment, he tilted his head in confusion—then, as if recognizing him, he smiled brightly.

The king’s stern expression softened.

He stepped forward and gently took the prince into his arms.

''My prince,'' he murmured, his voice low and warm, ''were you really waiting for me? Do you still

remember your father?''

''Hehe caaa''

The little boy laughed in his father’s arms, and the king’s deep chuckle followed soon after.

''He’s grown so fast,'' King Mohara said, smiling with quiet pride. ''When I left, he was just a small baby—and now he can sit and play by himself. ''

He held his son close, his large, steady hands cradling the boy’s small frame.

Malis watched them both with a smile that shone like sunlight through morning mist.

''He can already call for you,'' said the king. ''I hope he’ll call for me soon.''

''He will, Your Majesty,'' Malis replied with a gentle laugh. “I believe he wants to—but his little voice just isn’t ready yet.''

''We’ll see,'' he said, amusement flickering in his tone.

The prince giggled again, kicking playfully in his

father’s arms. The king was calm, but in his heart fluttered every time the prince laughed.

Queen Malis was the same, she really love to see when the king and the prince stay together, her heart feels warm.

Later that evening, the royal family gathered for dinner. The dining room glowed warmly with the light of torches and lamps. The mat was place neatly on the raised platform area floor for the king and the queen to sit which is traditional for the people in the kingdom and Royal family still hold on.

On the dining area, the small table was filled with a rich meal prepared for the king and queen.

Latter King and The queen arrived at the dining room. The maid took some water in the small pot for the king to wash his hand before having food.

The queen sat nearby the king so she can help served the food to the king while the prince was playing his toy nearby.

“Your Majesty, please have your food,” Malis said

softly as she helped serve the dishes onto his plate.

''There are a lot of food, you should save some for yourself latter.''

''Thank you, Your Majesty. I will have my food after you. Please Enjoy Your meal.'' Malis Replied.

The king began to eat calmly, while the little prince sat beside them. Before long, the boy started to fuss, reaching out with tiny hands.

''Mama… mama...'' he whined softly.

Queen Malis turned to him at once.

''He must be hungry now. I apologize, Your Majesty.''

''It’s all right,'' the king said. ''He’s just hungry. You can feed him.''

A soft blush rose to her cheeks, but she nodded. She gently lifted her son into her arms and prepared to feed him.

''Can he eat solid food yet?'' the king asked.

''He can have soft food only,'' Malis replied. ''He’s one year old now—but at this hour, I usually feed him milk.''

''I see,'' said the king. ''You may feed him. And don’t forget to eat too—you need your strength.''

''Thank you, Your Majesty.''

Malis smiled and began to nurse the prince. Her movements were quiet and tender, her cheeks faintly pink under the warm light.

The little prince nursed peacefully, his small hand

resting against his mother’s arm. When he was full, he sat contentedly on her lap while she had her meal

beside him.

The king had already finished his meal and watched them in silence. The soft candlelight reflected in his dark eyes, warming the shadows around him. For a moment, even the mighty ruler of Norindra Korak felt the gentle peace of home.
