Hello my name is Eve, let me tell you about myself. I'm the most popular girl in the school, I'm smart and loved among my peers.

That is what I would like to say but it's not true. I'm a girl that has the worst grades in my school, I rebel against everything. I break every rule in the book. I'm looked down by my peers. There is one rule i broke that I'm especially proud of though. That rule is called fate.

Let me tell you a story about how I broke fate. I guess I should explain this while fate thing though. Well let's begin.

There was once a goddess called Eclipse. This so called goddess said to us That love wasnt real it was fake. That only fate can decide who you are with. And this fate she speaks of. It is a birth mark, everyone gets a birth mark at this mark can't be replicated. Only two people in the world have the same mark.

The person that does share that mark is your life long partner. That is the fate I speak of. They get married at 18 without even knowing the person. Or sometimes they do but hate them. The rule of this world is that you can't define fate. You can't escape it.

They are told to have a child the amount of kids they have will be is decided by the government. This government is called FATE'S SIDE kinda sad how we don't even get to choose if we have kids.

If we object to this government you will be put into the lions den. Of course the lions den is what it seems like a den if lions. But these lions are different they are called the devil lion. They can sense fear, pain and every emotion you could possibly think of. They reach out to your old memories that scare you and repeat them in your mind. Torturing people, this world that has the so called "fate" is messed up. This world with no love, is too much.

The goddess Eclipse was said to be the one and only ruler of the people. It is said her blood is passed down to others and those people become the rulers. And wait it's gets even more messed up. This so called ruler said that you can't feed the poor, you can't feed the hungry because it is wrong. If the have a disability then to bad for them they can't eat.

This ruler when I was a teenager was the worst one. The rules he said and the things he made us do were truly terrible. But of course I didn't care because I was ready for all the rules he gave to be broken. Including the rule of the ruler I was going to make sure everyone knew love was real. Even if I found one hint. Even if I didn't fall in love. Even if this love could only be explained by a equation i would figure it out. This so called fate needed to be broken. And I, Eve will do that.

Eve is running as fast as she can." Ah for goodness sake why the hell do I keep getting chased", she then stopped for a break. She could hear people yelling her name from behind. She then ran as far as she could and stopped at a large wall. As she peered up at it she lost all thought about what was going on.

"EVE GET BACK HERE NOW!!!", one the teachers yelled at her. Eve then grabbed a rope and ran backwards towards the teacher. She then ran at full speed and swung high to the top of the big wall." It's damn high up here." She looked down at the teacher as she yelled. Eve couldn't hear her because she was too high up.

She took out a book of rules and checked off the rule... DONT GO ON OR PASS THE WALL.... The wall was some type of barrier. They can't go on or pass the wall when they are on school times. Eve hated this because they always know where you are when you aren't there. She went through the many rules and read the best ones and laughed.

I couldn't stop laughing looking down at the teacher. It was too funny. I've always wanted to go on the wall and today I got to. I got to see beyond what I could usually see. One day I want to see past the cliff called Eternal, after that cliff everything was unseen. I've always wondered what is out there besides this place. I've wondered if there were more people. I wonder what of the many things in the world I haven't experienced.

It is said that the Eternal is 11111.1 feet deep. It would be very interesting to see if that rumor was true. I will plan it out in a while that rule will be broken by me as well. These stupid and meaningless rules are meant to be broken. They are meant to be changed.

I go the the edge of the wall and get a heads start I then jump down grabbing the rope and letting my feet hit the ground. While I release the rope letting it swing for the time being.

"I should take this rope down so no one else can get on the wall, "Eve says. As I take down the rope I notice something. There was a carving in the tree. It looked like some type of symbol. Before I could get a closer look the teachers came yelling my name. I decide to look at it later and run now.

When I get home my mom is silent while my dad looks at me with a scary glare that pierces through my heart. His glare is always scary. It was total silence till my mom said "I got word you went on the wall". She said that while cooking and cleaning. I didn't know what to say so I stayed silent under my parents scary aura.

My dad then started to speak. "How many times do I have to get word you broke another rule. Eve don't you get it? This is basically a crime you could be sent to the lions den if you break more." This time his eyes were soft and my mom was still silent. I wonder what she's thinking. She's the one that hard to read.

"Your brother is here with his wife" Mom said is a hush voice. I freeze thinking if my past with my brother and with his wife.

........................FLASH BACK.............

"Bro you can't leave!! you can't stay here don't listen to Fates side, it's a stupid government. Please listen and wait for me to prove live is real" Eve begged her brother. He turned his head back to her with a pitied look on his face.

"Eve this love you speak of isn't a thing. You have to know that, no matter how long and hard you try you can't break fate it's impossible. You will be killed trying." I silently cry as he says that. He was only 18 and he was shipped to his life long partner to be married and have 2 kids. It wasn't right, people aren't even allowed to be divorced or spilt up. You had to stay together.

My brother left with a straight face that day. I had met his wife before, she was older then him. She had been a terrible person. Drinking and on drugs I was surprised they would let her marry. I was astonished when she was to be married to my brother. It's how old she was or how bad she was. My brother had to marry this girl and it hurt me to think she would ruin his life. They had to pretend to be Happy but I know they aren't.

...Dad and mom were the same. They didn't love eachother and they still don't. I heard they were best friends before they got married. This mark of fate chooses people that don't love eachother. My parents had never loved eachother more than a friend. I can tell they didn't want to get married too....

I'm 17 next year is the year I get my life long partner. In this year I have to break this fate and I know I can do it. I will break it before I have to go too. And if I get shipped before, I will run away. I will find a place that no one will go and live my own life. I won't be bossed around by fates mark or by this government Fate's side. I will live the life I choose.

...My parent can see I'm in deep thought. They look at eachother and say" how about you go outside and take a break." Going outside and being free is my favorite thing to do. As I go outside I climb up on the roof and lay there. Looking at the beautiful stars. Not thing about anything other than what I see right now....
