RANDI'S POV

"Hey! MC! Wait up!" Randi said as she was running to catch his little brother MC so they can take the bus together.

"Randi! Hurry up! The bus is about to leave!" MC said exaustedly while running to the bus.

"No! Mr. Driver!!!!! Wait for us" Randi said as the bus was about to leave but the driver didn't hear her and left.

"Well Randi, I guess we have to walk to school....." MC said.

"I guess you're right Bro!, Let's get running! We don't wanna be late at the first day of school"- Randi

"I guess your right sis"- MC

@THE JIANGNAN HIGH SCHOOL

"Wow... I never expected our school is so beautiful" MC said in an amazed tone for it was his first year there at Jiangnan High.

"It will take you some getting used to MC. You have to get used to the bullies, the strict teachers, the bad girls."

"I'll fit here like in a day! I'm not like you..... So cold and ugly. I may be even the teachers pet!" He said like he was so proud of his self.

"What did you say?!!!!"

"I said your ugly Randi!!!" He said and run away quickly as he could.

"You! You! I will get YOU for this!!" Randi said and chased MC.

"Haha! Bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh you can catch me! Bleh!" And ran fatser and then suddenly.....

"Here are the students who will be in class 1 grade 1. The first student is the valedictorian of Jongnan Elementary which has an average of 97. MC Tong!. The next one is... Blah blah blah blah "

The principal was announcing the students who will be in class 1 of each grade.

"Oh that's me sis! Gotta go! Byeeee!...." He said and ran to the stage.

Randi said in her mind and slowed down and took a seat.

A few minutes passed and MC is already surrounded by his classmates chatting.

Is he really that charming? Or it's just he's so smart everyone befriends him to get test answers? Oh well

"Now I will announce the students who will be in class 2 grade 3. First is Xiao Lan...... Second is blah blah blah........... And last is Randi Tung"

Oh im finally called I didn't expect I would be last though. Well I have to get up there.

"Your teacher will be Ms. Lori Moore. Please follow her to your classroom"

The principal said and left.

Who is she? She makes my heart beat go fast.

I said to myself while I was staring at their teacher and didn't notice that Miss. Lori was standing in front of me.

"Excuse me miss?" Lori asks her but didn't answer and continued to stare at her and then I realized she has big boobs. And then I realized she was talking to me.

"Uhmm who? What is it? Where is the bad guy? Did I lose the game?" I said and everybody looked at me and laughed.

"Uhm you are miss?" Lori asks once again.

"Uhgm I'm miss Tung nice to meet you  love...." I said "Ugh I mean honey ahh, I mean ma'am ma'am" and saluted to Lori.

Because of that my classmates laughed at me. And the principal spoke .

"Miss Tung detention 2 hours after school and miss Moore you gaurd her" Miss Ming said and walked away heading for her office.

"Yes yes yes!!" I shouted and jumped in happiness and her classmates looked at her in confusion.

Yes I can see miss Lori after class 2 hours straight.

She said in her mind and happily went to class.

@ CLASS 3 GRADE 3 CLASSROOM

Everyone is chatting and miss Lori is doing some paperwork at the back.

Oh I wish I can get the chance to talk to her after school.......

Oh I almost forgot about the detention. Damn it! The first day of school and I'm already in detention.

But at least I can get the chance to speak to her! Yes!

I stood up and shouted yes I didn't know what got into me. Once again my classmates laughed but luckily miss Lori didn't know since she was wearing headphones.

And then I  heard a voice behind her.

"Hello Randi! I'm Rouxi Lan" the girl at the back said and Randi immediately looked back shaked her hand.

"Oh you know me?" I replied

"Ugh yeah of course. You we're the one who got humiliated earlier" Rouxi replied.

So I'm known for that incident? I'm probably the top student at the humiliation rank.

"Oh.... That" she replied in a humiliated tone. And then I noticed she was late because she was still holding a bag.

"Ahahaha....... Ughmmm........." She said  while looking at the chair behind me, I was confused.

"Huh? What is it Rouxi?" I took a glance on the chair at the back of me.

"Is that chair beside you occupied yet?" She said

I'm saving these 2 seats for someone but I have to give it to her.

"Ugh yes..... Well not exactly" I replied.

"May I ?" Rouxi replied

"Oh sure sure...."I replied awkwardly.

"Thanks Randi!" Rouxi replied and sat on the chair next to Randi.

She's weird..... I like her......

"Hey Randi....."Rouxi called.

I was lost in my thoughts.......

"Randi?!" She called again and pinched me because I didn't notice her.

"Oh!? What is it Rouxi?" I quickly looked at her.

"Why we're you humiliated in the first place? Xiao said that you we're lost in your thoughts and replied the teacher "yes love". Is it true?"

"Ahh" Jeez we just met and she's asking me that question. I have to change the topic.

"Who's Xiao?" I asked since I didn't know.

"Ohh you don't know her? Are you a freshman here?" She replied.

"Ahh no I'm here since grade 1" thank God the topic changed!

"How come you don't know the daughter of the principal?" She replied in confusion.

"The principal has a daughter?"

"I guess you don't know but Xiao Ming is the daughter of the Principal DongShao Ming, she's the one at the second chair from the front in row 2."

Wow! I'm surprised that principal Ming has a husband and a daughter with that face! Ugh!

"If she's the daughter of the principal how come she's in the second to the last section? Should'nt she be in class one?" I replied

"Yeah but she's not that smart at all and the principal doesn't give her a favor a all cause she doesn't want her child to be dependent. I'm not suprised if your smarter than her."

Yeah right! A daughter of the principal you are! You're not even that smart!

"Hahaha! Don't expect anything from me. I'm really not intelligent"

"Hey Don't look down on yourself! There's always a chance if you believe in yourself!" She comforted me.

"Ok Rouxi! Oh by the way why do you know her so much?"I asked.

"Oh it's just that......" She lowers her tone and clenches her fist

"What is it? It's ok if you don't want to tell me." I replied since she was really angry and patted her back

"It's really ok. I really want to get this out of my chest."

Wow! She trusts me just like that?

"It's just that me and Xiao we're best friends before...and"

"Oh? You two were friends? Then why aren't you hanging with her right now?"

"Hold on! I haven't finished yet!" She replied loudly.

"Oh ok ok" jeez this girl is....

"We were best friends before and I was just like her..... A bad girl.........

We'd go on and skip classes, do anything in school campus since she's the daughter of the principal and she could cover for it. But then one day.... My grades we're failing and I didn't go to one of her prank fests because I needed to study and....."

"And?"

"She got mad at me...... And she hated me since then. She bullies me now and I had a few fights with her last year."

"Ahh ok.... So that's the story..... So why did you change?"

"What change?" She replied confusedly.

"The bad girl to school dedicated girl transition"

"Ohh... It's just that I had an inspiration."*blushes*

*Bell rings*

I didn't finish my sentence since the bell rang and it's time to go home.

Shoot! I almost forgot about the class room date with miss Lori! (She means detention)

"Ahh bye Rouxi! I have to go!"

"Go where?"

Does she still have to ask? Doesn't she see I'm in a hurry? "Ughmmm to go home?"

"Ohh ok Randi. Bye!"

Wow? She fell for that? She's really dumb, no wonder her grades we're failing.

@ THE DETENTION ROOM

"Your 2 minutes late miss Tung! 30 minutes more detention for you!" Miss Jiao said.

"Oh auntie!" bows down for respect. "I thought miss Lori was going to be the guidance teacher?"

"DONT YOU AUNTIE AUNTIE ME! Call me miss Jiao."

Ahh ok 'Miss Jiao'

"So where's Miss Lori 'miss Jiao'?" I replied in an annoyed tone and making a V shape with my fingers.

"She's late like you. Go do whatever you want as long it's within this room." Miss Lin Jiao replied.

Jeez..... She's the opposite of miss Lori.... I wonder where is Miss Lori.....

But still.... Me and miss Lori haven't talked but we already have a thing in common!!

"I'm sorry I'm late miss Jiao!" Miss Lori said exaustedly because she was running just now.

"It's your turn to guard the 'detention' room miss Moore and you're late!" Miss Jiao said in a angry tone.

"I'm sorry I was running errands." She replied.

"It's ok.... Sit at the table now and (whispers) Take good care of my niece."

"Ok maam Jiao" bows down and miss Jiao heads for the door.

"Ahh....so miss Tung do whatever you like as long as you don't leave the class room." She said in a CUTE VOICE.

I'm really falling for her. Am I?

Miss Moore sits there and draws. So she like drawing and I have a case for art as well. Well I'll go to her table and see what she draws.

"Miss Moore?" I said to her which blushing cheeks.

"Ahh yes? What can I do for you Miss Tung?" She covers her drawing and speaks to mo yet I couldn't reply because I was having one of those slow motion moments and it was amazing.

"Miss Tung?" She asked once more

"Ahh nothing ma'am" I replied awkwardly. " It's just that I see you like to draw. Can you teach me the techniques you used to these shades? "

Oh my God why am saying this???

"Oh sure miss Tung.... But maybe next time..... I really have to finish this drawing" she says and gets back to her drawing.

Goodness sake! She's really cute!

"Oh ok then Miss. Moore" I replied

"Can you not call me miss Moore Miss Tung? " She said

"Huh? What should I call you then. I mean after all your a teacher and I have to call you teacher, miss Moore or Ma'am."

"How old are you Miss Tung?"

Why are we suddenly jumping into this question?

"I'm 17 years old now."

"Then don't call me miss Moore, you can call me Lori since I'm just a few years older."

"Huh? Your just a few years older than me?"

"Yes because I'm 23 years old."

"Ohh ok miss .. I Mean Lori..." And I smile awkwardly.

"Is it ok if I call you Randi or Andi?"

"Ohh sure ma'am... I mean Lori since you let me call you Lori ."is this really happening???? If this is a dream I don't wanna wake up!!! *Blushes*

RANDI'S POV

"Hey Lori...."

"What is it Randi?"

"Ughmmm... It's nothing.... It's just I like you better than my auntie.... I mean Miss. Jiao" I said awkwardly.

"I already know you're Miss. Jiao's niece"

Did auntie tell her? nevermind. I leaned closer at her and took a look at what she was doing.

" Wow the painting is really great"

"Thank you" *blushes* and continues drawing....

"I actually have an art collection in my bag. Here... You can have a look if you like"

"Wow thanks"she's already this open to me *blushes*

"Wow you're really good at drawing Lori, did you really made these all by yourself?" I added

"Yes, it's my collection from college until now you can have it if you like"

*Sweats* uhmm I should take it!!! But wait it's her collection from colleg I must not.

"It's your collection.... I can't take away your hard work since college."

"It's ok. I really have a feeling that you'll take good care of it" she smiles.

"Wow thanks....." *Blushing**blushing**blushing*

She gave it to me....

I continued to look at her drawings and I saw a painting entitled "Jo vagua El fi pirionadas to"

"What's this?" I asked

"Ohh that's 'Jo vagua El fi pirionadas to' it's a Spanish movie and that's the reason why I started painting. It means 'love is in the air where ever we go, our love is true and it always will be.' ."

"I also like poetry but I'm not really good at it"

"I also like poetry, in fact I love it. I always feel happy when I write a poem. I can recite one to you know." I said

When she cited the poem I felt special. She had an aura so swift it was barely noticeable by others, but I noticed it.

Her aura was unlike others when they approach. Her aura made me feet comfortable and safe.

"Randi........ I admire you....." She said once again and blushed but looked away from Randi so that she cannot see her face.....

"Can you teach me how you make such beautiful poems like that?" She said to me.

"Ughmmm maybe nextime when you teach me how to shade like your drawing and if we still have time maybe I can teach you?" Was that answer ok?

Maybe I should hang out with her after school. I feel safe with her.... Her inner voice is sweet.......I must tell her......

We were about to go home but there were drunk men in the way.

"hey Lori let's go this way..... There's a short cut"

"Ughmmm ok....." She said.

"Hey there.... Ohh two pretty girls....." One of the drunk men said.

"Come here" he added

But I refused and continue to walk in the Alley.

"Hey!!! I said come here!!!" He got angry and held my right shoulder.

"Look Mr. We don't want to get into trouble so please let me go." I said as I tried to get his hand off mine.

"Mr. Please let go" I said once again

"One last time Mr. Please let me go!"

"And what are you gonna do if I don't? cry for mercy?"

*His men laugh

I gave an audacious look hoping to scare them.

"You leave me no choice. Lori step aside" I acted all tough while thinking of a solution to get out of this mess.

I held his hand. Not knowing what I was doing .

"How dare you hold my hand!" He tried to punch me using his other hand but I blocked it and twisted it.

"Arghhhhh!!! " He screamed in pain

"How dare you?" He called his men up to help him.

"You want more broken bones?" I replied in a scary tone.

"Acting tough ey?" The drunk man said.

"Lori" I said in a low voice.

"What?" she replied

"I count to three then run ok?"

I saw her worried face while she was about to reply. I couldn't help myself seeing that.

"Ok close your eyes then"

"Huh?" She replied in confusion.

"Ok now men! Attack her!" The leader shouted.

I carried Lori while running away. I was a fast runner since I was part of the football team and also a weight lifter since I also worked out in the gym a couple of times before.

"Rand--??"

"Shhhh.... They're gonna hear us and know we went this way.

I ran fast carrying her.

'man she's heavy' I said to myself.

But I still continued running till we reached 3 blocks from my house then I putted her down.

"Man. Did they catch up?"Lori said.

"No.. th...ey.... Did.....n't...." I said in exhaustion while gasping for air. Good thing I paid a little attention to the martial arts classes mom signed me and MC up for.

"Are you ok Randi? Why did you even carry me? I can run myself you know. Then who are those guys? Why we're they trying to kill us? And why the..."

"Shhhh..." I said as I shushed her using my finger.

"C'mon. Let's go now."

"Randi! Are you ok? Did you get hurt? Let me see your elbows, your knees, your face maybe you have a scar." I said as I looked all over her body for bruises but I didn't find any big scars just a scratch on her knee. She's really tough.....

She can still about ask about how I'm doing after running away from the fight? She's really thoughtful.......

"I'm ok but you should really go to a doctor maybe your bones broke...."

"It's ok I'm really fine nothing broken just some scratches...."

"Well let's get going.... We don't want to bump into them again...."

"Yeah we should.... My parents maybe are worried sick by now.... Oh I almost forgot we have to go this way to the shortcut..... Only few people know about this Alley and we should be safe walking here." She said.

"We're almost at my home..... Do you mind if I change first then I take you home?" I said

"Oh you don't have to worry about me and you should go to rest since you have scratches...."She replied.

We walked further.The night enveloped us in coldness.

"Ooh it's cold tonight...." she said

"The cold doesn't bother me at all" I replied.

She then looked at me in confusion. Then she breathed at her hands and rubbed it against each other.

"Is that so? Here's your house I'll go now.... Byeeee"

"Oh... I can't let you go home by yourself.. what if those guys show up again? Who will protect you?" I said

Right those guys... I may be in trouble if I ran into them.. Well I have to accept Randi's offer. She's so thoughtful......

"Ok I'll wait here outside for you"

I walked Lori inside the house when I heard my brother's voice.

"Sis?? Is that you??" MC said

"Ahh yes it's me" I replied

"Sis? Where have you been?" He said

"Oh I was just having a group study.." I lied

"Ohh ok.. mom's been worried sick" he replied

"Ohh we have a visitor... Please tell Shirley to prepare food and drinks, I will just go upstairs to change"

"Ok sis" MC replied

"Ughmmm Lori have a seat here."

"Ughmm thank you....." She said as she sat down..

"My sister Shirley will give you some snacks.... I will just go upstairs to change...."

"Ok Randi..."

"Mom!!! We have a visitor!!!" She shouted as she was going up on the stairs.

Her mom came out and introduced herself to Lori.

"Ohh you are?" Randi's mom said as she went out of the kitchen into the living room.

"I'm miss Lori Moore ma'am"

"Are you her girlfriend?"

"Ughmm no ma'am I'm her teacher"

"Ohh what brings you here? Did my daughter cause trouble at school?"

"Oh no she didn't. I was just accompanying her to home since my house is 7 blocks away from here."

I spit my coffee... What? Is she serious?

"Its no use hiding dear. You know...... I really wanted Randi to have a girlfriend....... "

Is this mom serious? Her daughter is only 17 and she's rushing her to have girlfriend?

"No ma'am ..... I'm really her teacher..... I would never have a relationship with a student......" I said awkwardly......

"You know dear you'll fall in love with her soon enough. She's really.."but she was interrupted because Randi was already down.....

"Mom did you see my unicorn jacket?

"Oh it's by the unicorn pillow you said to put in your SS cabinet."

I've been up for a while ....... I wonder what they were talking about......

"Oh here's my jacket....."

I'll bring this jacket because Lori is cold.........

I go down and see if they're done talking.....

"Mom we're going...... I'm going to take ms. Lori home...."

"Ohh sure.... Bye miss Lori ....... You're welcome here anytime....."

"Okay mrs. Tung" Lori replied.

"We'll go now mom...." I said to mom while I walked closer to her to give her a kiss but then she whispered..... "Don't loose her ...."

She's wearing a uni-hoodie pajamas? She's..... So...... Cute......

"We will go now Mrs. Tung. Thank you for the tea....."

We go outside and start to walk......

"You're really cute in that....." I said...

"Haha I'm really used to it. I always wear clothes like these."

Wow I really never expected a person as strong, beautiful, and thoughtful as Randi would wear such things.....

She's really cute in it......

And thenRandi handed me a uni jacket.

"What's this for?"

"Wear it.... You said you were cold right?"

I did? I never really thought she paid attention.....

"Ohh thanks.." I said as she gave it to me....

I gave her the books I held so I can put on the jacket......

After I put it on I felt cozy.......

Then she smiled and handed me my books......

"Boss, do we have to attack her again? We were already beaten up by that brown haired girl even though we disguised as drunk men.

"Useless fools, of course you will!!! You will not stop until she's dead!! What do I pay you for exactly?!!

By tommorow night I want to see her head here... Is that clear??"

I don't know what I got myself into.

I was just doing this for money at first but this? Killing? Is out of my league

I said to myself while scratching my head and thinking what to give Randi for Valentine's day

I heard a familiar voice from behind. It wasn't from my mom or brother but I knew it was her.

"Hey Queenie." I said while continuing to bake cookies

"What brings you here? It's not summer vacation yet right?"

I said as I fetched the towel to wipe my wet hands

"Nope not yet but....."

"Don't hide anything from me... What did you do this time?"

"Well I got ..."

"Got what?" I said while crossing my arms facing her

"Got kicked out??"

"What???!!! Again Queenie?" I shouted at her

"Hey at least I'm back. Aren't you happy with that??"

"You know I'm happy but not with the news that you got kicked out... AGAIN"

"Hey I'll just go to another school like usual"

"This is the 7th time Queenie! Who knows if there is still a school who will accept you" I said as I walked out of the kitchen to the living room

"Hey......" She said while back hugging me slowly

"How bout we sleep together tonight? Just like before.... Wouldn't you want that Randi?" She whispered in my ear gently

"Stop it Queenie!" I scolded her while getting her arms off my waist

"Randi?" She said in a soft tone...

"Where are you going to sleep tonight?" I replied

"Your room of course!" She said following those words with a smile.

"Fine" I replied

"Okay. Go to my room now" I said as I walked towards the living room

"Where are you going?" She said in confusion

"To the living room to sleep"

"Why? Let's share beds!"

"No. I have to get up early tomorrow. I have no time for what you're thinking of doing tonight" I replied

I saw her sad face after I said that. She left the kitchen and headed to my room and looked at me before she shut the door loudly expressing her anger and sadness at the same time.

I stood up and headed to my room.

As I approached the door I heard Queenie's whimper. She was crying...

I tried to open the door but it was locked. 'did I do anything wrong?' I thought. I placed my forehead on the door hearing Queenie's whimpers.I couldn't hold back my tears.

I left the front of my room saying one word..

"Sorry....."

Morning arrived. I got out of bed and fixed it. I went out of my room into the hallway.

"Good morning Queenie!" I said as walked pass my room seeing her as she opens her door with a just-woke-up face as she rubbed her eyes.

She just headed to the kitchen not even saying a word. It was like I wasn't even there. Did I really piss her off?

"Hey Queenie!" I called her

She didn't say anything and she just walked to the living room after getting the cereal and then watched TV.

Then I realized it was already 8:30 am.

Lori and I are going out on 9 and I had little time to prepare.

I went to the kitchen and ate what was left last night and prepared the cookies and headed to my room to get changed. Then I saw Queenie packing her bags.

"Queenie?" I asked her but she didn't answer. It took a while but then she answered.

"I'm going back to Saint Phillips academy."

What? She's going back? It's good news that she wanna go back to school but why there?

"Why?"

"Why?..." She replied.

"Ask me why? When I should have been the one asking why are not into me anymore." She said angrily

"You snuck me out there before because you said you loved me. We met at my window every night and you said you'll never leave me. But why? Don't you love me anymore? Or there's someone else who you like?"

I stood in silence in front of her. I like Lori now. But I forgot I loved her before. She was with me when I was in pain. We were together in pain and in happiness. I stood at the front of my door. Thinking of those times. I couldn't hold back my tears. I cried.

She walked up to me and then she hugged me. I promise myself I will not let others see my pain. Yet I let her see it.

"Randi. Don't push yourself. I still love you" she hugged me tighter then she layed her head on my chest.

Then suddenly the doorbell rang. And I noticed it was already 9:30 am.

Omg.! Lori is here!

I quickly wiped the tears off my face then I let Queenie go.

"Where are you going?" Queenie replied

"I'm going out for a bit" Randi replied

"Who's that at the door?"

" It's uhmmmm my friend."

"Who?" She said in an angry tone.

" Uhmm. I'll meet you later. Gotta go now bye"

I was about to open the door when she stood right in front of me. I tried to avoid her and reached out for the door knob but she still blocked my way.

"I gotta go now Queenie" I said

I saw her grinning at me and slowly pushed me backwards.

"Queenie!! I gotta go now!! She's waiting at the door!!"

"She?!"

Oops I tongue slipped.

"Who is she?"

I stood in front of her while closing my eyes for a few seconds and then I opened my eyes again. The second blink and she was right at the door.

I saw her angry face and a killer aura. She was about to open the door.

I rushed at her and tried to stop her but she already opened it.

"Finally Randi!! Why didn't you op..."

She stopped at those words.

I saw Queenie slap Lori in the face.

"Queenie!!? Why did you..."

I stopped at my words....

LORI'S POV

"Finally you opened the d-"

I couldn't finish my words when. I was slapped in the face by a girl in Randi's house.

I stepped back holding the part of my face which was slapped. Seeing her face. It was obvious she was angry. But I don't know  the reason why.

"Queenie!" I heard Randi shout.

I stepped forward then looked closely at the girl who slapped me. She was short. She had attractive blonde hair with pink highlights. She reminded me of  "Her".

As I was about to raise up the little girls head, I heard Randi calling me.

"Lori!! Are you hurt"

She rushed to me. Then held the part of  my face where the girl slapped me.

I quickly removed her hand. Then stepped back.

"I'm fine." I said.

"Let's go Lori c'mon let's go" she replied as she was about to hold my hand to leave her front yard.

"No. I'll be the one going now. I think you still have some family issues" I followed it with a smile then laughed.

"Lori? Are you..." I didn't let her finish her sentence.

"No! I'll be going now!"

I left.....

RANDI'S POV

"No. I'll be going now!" Those are last words I heard from Lori then she left.

"Queenie! Why did you slap her??!!!"

I said that in an angry tone. Why did she do that? Is she jealous?

She stood there in silence giving me a mean look. What has gotten into her?

"Look. I don't know why you ..."

I stopped at my words again.

She raised her hand. She was gonna slap me.

I closed my eyes waiting for the slap.

But then after a few minutes of standing there, I felt my lips heating up. I opened my eyes then saw her face up close.

She kissed me.

I saw her blush when she did that.

She stopped, then stepped back.

I saw her eyes filled with water as she stepped back. She was heading to my room but I still saw sadness in her eyes.

As she turned back to go. I back hugged her. Tears slowly  flowed down my face trying to express to her that I also feel pain.

She continued crying.

We stood there, expressing our pain. Queenie and I soaked each other's clothes with each other's tears. I never saw her cry like this. Neither did she saw me cry.

It was then we understood each other's feelings.

"I will never ever leave you again..... Queenie...." I said sincerely.

I felt her pain. I can feel hers too.

"I will love you forever from now on."

I continued.

She wasn't the innocent little girl I knew from before scared of everything and even cried caus she was scolded by her teacher. Queenie Jane VanZhualtz is now matured.
