Jaemin, at first, had no idea why he wanted to become a k-pop idol. Everyone around him told him it was hard, incredibly hard. But he had a certain impression of how his life would turn out as a k-pop idol. It would probably be full of hardships, and he would need a stupid amount of effort to succeed.

He had already guessed that he probably wouldn't even be able to pass the trainee stage, ultimately not even getting the chance of debuting.

The sheer amount of hours you had to dedicate to dance or acting classes easily amounted more than 8 hours a day.

For Jaemin, it was even worse. His talent amounted to nothing compared to real idols. His looks were also average, resulting in a lot of prejudice from the agency.

But, nevertheless, he enjoyed it.

Every second, every minute, every ounce of effort he put into his dream, felt amazing. He simply didn't want to stop pursuing his dream, no matter how hard it would get.

But there was no hope anymore. Every last bit of it had dissappeared. Hence why he, in the end, committed suicide.

Where am I?

Jaemin had come back to consciousness, but he couldn't move his body, nor could he open his eyes or his mouth. It felt like his whole body was paralyzed. He also had this feeling that he was currently being immersed in some kind of hot, slimy liquid.

Wait a second...

He died, that's undeniable. Nobody could survive that fall.

So he actually came back to existence, awakening from his supposed to be eternal slumber. Furthermore, he had all his memories intact.

He couldn't move, and he was feeling cooped up. Like he was still in his mothers.....

Wait...

No, that can't be...

IM A FETUS? I'M STILL IN MY MOTHERS WOMB?

Is God playing with me?

Jaemin kept thinking about his current situation, it was a bit hard to believe after all. Thinking rationally at this point was impossible. He tried to put his thoughts in order, so he could assess the situation, and come up with a plan. But before he could stabilze his thoughts, a game like notification appeared inside of his mind.

OH REALLY?!

[ Counting down, 5… 4… 3… 2… 1... System start up! ]

He really didn't want to believe he was dreaming. But all this is just unbelievable.

Jaemin didn't know how he should feel about this. Happy? Sad? Thrilled? Excited? His emotions were a bit messy at the moment. He didn't know what to think, so he instead explored the functions of his system a bit.

It wasn't hard to guess what this system will give him. The privilege he had been granted is truly invaluable. He had explored this so called 'System' after about 10 minutes, and found out a ton of incredibly useful things.

First of all, there was the main panel. His three basic attributes are listed on there:

Why only three attributes?

And what do those 10's mean in between the brackets?

At first he didn't know.

But he eventually found out that there is an option at the bottom of the panel to add other skills/attributes to your liking. This could be everything: like dancing, singing, acting etc. And the 10's between the bracket are supposed to be the stats of the average male.

And the reason why he had almost no attributes now is because he hadn't even been successfully born yet. So there was no need to worry about that for the time being.

But all these options, they were literally the definition of a perfect cheat to a successful life!

And he will take full advantage of it!

Then, there is also the available quests. He only had one available for now, so he pressed on it to get more information about the quest.

He felt really bad that he had to do something like this. He hadn't expected that this system would be such a masochistic existence. He just hoped that in the future he would receive less quests where he had to hurt people, especially his mother.

Mom, prepare yourself! I'm going to begin!

Jaemin, with all his might, went crazy.

He punched, he kicked, he turned, he stretched, he danced, he squeezed, he scratched. He did everything he could with the best of his abilities.

He couldn't hear her voice, he had no idea why, probably because his ear canals hadn't been developed enough, but he knew that she must be experiencing a lot of pain. There was no denying that.

He was already feeling incredibly exhausted, fetuses didn't have a lot of energy to spend after all. They weren't supposed to do things like this. But he did, because he had to.

The longer he continued, the more faint his consciousness became.

He was on the verge of not being able to move his limbs anymore. Until he finally got rescued by the most satisfying notification sound he had ever heard in his entire life.

Jaemin's time in his mother's womb was by far the most boring thing he ever experienced. Aside from the few quests that the system had offered, there really wasn't much else to do. He didn't know for how long he had exactly been in there, but he knew it was about time for him to be born. It wouldn't take longer than a week, probably a few days, or maybe even today.

How did he know?

The sytem gave him a quest, and it was related with his birth. The time limit for the quest was one week, hence why he knew.

He couldn't help but want to sigh in relief, the most bleak months in his new life have finally come to an end.

But that quest....

Cruel, too cruel. That was the best way to describe this system's quests so far. And his mom was always the victim of his quest completions during these harsh months. A few examples of these horrendous quests were:

But if you look at the bright side, he got a lot of status points from all those quests, and he invested them all in appearance! But in exchange, he basically tortured his mother.

He hadn't felt this much pity for someone in his whole life, poor mom. Luckily, this was her final torture session.

This would be the most SP he had ever received at once, which shows how difficult of a quest this is compared to the other ones he had received in the past. And if he invested those status points into his appearance, it would result in it reaching a terrifying triple-digit number..

He couldn't wait to find out how handsome he would become after spending almost a year of investing points in looks only. His body fitness and health also went up, he hadn't invested points in them, they just went up naturally.

And then, all of a sudden, he felt that something was amiss. He already knew what this meant, it was finally time for him to come into existence once again!

"I'm sorry mom, I'm going to make this a bit difficult for you, stay strong!"

His plan was simple, he spread his legs and his arms as wide as possible. Like he wasn't willing to leave this place yet.

"You can do it miss! Push! Push!"

Oh? He could finally hear voices again. That woman seemed to be the doctor helping my mom with her giving birth.

"I can't, I can't!"

"Yes you can! PUSH!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH"

Oh my god this is so akward, his legs and arms slipped due to the suctioning force. Jaemin, as fast as he could, curled himself up into a ball. He could feel the open air, it felt very cold. It was really uncomfortable.

The first thing that came out was his butt.

"What?!"

The doctor was shocked, why did this baby curl himself up into a ball?! She had never seen this before.

Meanwhile, Kim Min-seo, Jeamin's mother, was screaming her lungs out due to the pain she was going through. She hadn't thought that giving birth would hurt nearly as much as this. She was a strong woman, but even she found it hard to endure. She was trying her very best not to faint from the pain.

Jaemin switched into a more suitable position right after he heard the system's notification. The doctor noticed this and quickly grabbed his head to give Min-seo some support.

"Final push! PUSH!"

Jaemin quickly invested those SP in his appearance and then....
