My One Day Love Story

Emmi and her friends were participating in a science drama competition, held in honor of Curie Day — a celebration of the legendary Nobel Prize-winning scientist, Marie Curie.
For Emmi, this was a completely new experience. She had never taken part in a science drama before. In all her previous school plays, she usually played the funny character or the villain — roles she was naturally good at. But this time, things were different.
Emmi had been cast as a professor, a serious and challenging role. Her lines were full of scientific terms and complex explanations. Memorizing them was hard enough — delivering them with clarity and confidence was even harder.
She spent hours trying to understand her dialogues, repeating them over and over in front of the mirror. Still, she struggled with her expressions and tone. The words didn’t feel natural to her, and the pressure of performing in front of a crowd only made things worse.
As the day of the competition approached, Emmi felt more and more nervous. Her stomach turned with anxiety. What if she forgot her lines? What if she stumbled on stage?

Finally, the day of the competition arrived. Emmi was surprisingly the first in her team to finish her makeup. Seeing this, the teacher asked her to go and draw the lot for their team — a task usually done by the team leader.
Even though she wasn’t the leader, Emmi nodded and went ahead. As she walked toward the box, her heart pounded and whispered a silent prayer to God, “Please, let it be the last number…”
But fate had other plans.
She unfolded the slip — Number 1.
Her heart sank.
As someone who deeply believed in signs a, this felt like a warning. “First to perform? That’s bad luck,” she thought, her confidence cracking before the play had even begun.
That's where they first met.. He was there as his team leader and got the last number but emmi didn't saw him.she immediately left the place after taking lot with teachers
Finally the it was the time to perform
To cheer her confidence god gave her another good luck sign " the sound system of the stage wasn't working"

The play of her team was over. Apart from her first scene, everything went well. The performance of the other teams wasn't that great, so her team was expecting to get first place — until...

Until the last team's play started ..
The last team's play had started. Sound had been the biggest issue for most of the teams so far. But the moment the first character walked on stage, it was clear this team was different. His voice echoed through the auditorium — loud, confident, and crystal clear. Every word landed perfectly.
Emmi watched from the side, and in that very first scene, she understood — they had lost the first place.
She couldn't bring her self to watch the rest of the play... She left there and went to washroom.. she felt guilty as she was the reason for her team's lose

All the teams had given their best performances. Now, it was time to announce the results.

"You all performed very well. However, we will not be selecting a winning team based on previous performance. Instead, over the course of the next four rounds, we will identify the top six individual performers. From this point forward, there are no teams representing your schools — you are now competing as individual participants."
