Her head drooped, her cheek gently coming to rest on the open pages of her book, the words blurring together in a meaningless jumble. Her breathing slowed, and her body relaxed, her hand slipping from the book's edge, letting it hold her head up like a makeshift pillow. The soft rise and fall of her chest was the only movement, as she surrendered to the exhaustion, her eyes closing in a peaceful sleep.
The gentle light from the book danced across her face, tracing her calm features with strokes of soft luminescence.
Tiny, glowing butterflies emerged from the open pages, fluttering in silence around her. They landed on her hair, her hand, and the edges of the book, their wings shimmering like fragments of starlight. The air was filled with a quiet kind of magic—something tender, fragile, and alive.
Outside, the wind brushed against the window, but inside, time itself seemed to pause. The girl breathed softly, unaware of the enchantment that surrounded her. It was as if the stories she had read had come alive, wrapping her in their warmth and wonder.
