A boy stretched his arms and yawned. He sat up on his bed, and rubbed his eyes. It seems he just woke up from his sleep.

Wren smiled at Ember, the magical phoenix. Ember is a system, who helps the hosts to complete their missions.

Good morning, Ember. Any new mission?
Ember nodded. He flew and landed in front of Wren, on the blanket.
Ember (System)
There is a mission. If you want, I can show you the information.
Wren yawned again. He smiled, and nodded. He was still sleepy, but he was more curious to know about the mission.

Ember flapped his wings, and his feathers glowed, in the lightest shade of blue. Then, the information about the mission was shown on a hologram.
Name: Eryx Mavrose.
Age: Twenty Five.
Relationship Status: Single, but not for long.
Second Gender: Dominant Omega.
Situation:
He is engaged to the target's younger brother, Lucien. But Lucien doesn't like Eryx at all. Lucien already has someone he loves, he has a lover, his parents know about this, but they are still forcing Lucien to Eryx.

Ember squeaked, and he almost slipped and fell down from Wren's shoulder, while laughing in his bird tone.

Wren pushed away the bowl and stood up.

Wren woke up and sat on the bed. He looked around the room he was in. The room was neat and tidy, everything was in place and well organized.

Ember popped out of nowhere. He sat on the bed and said,

You are in Eryx's room.
Eryx sighed and flopped on the bed.

Ember (System)
The day Eryx's engagement was fixed.
Wren groaned and threw his legs and hands like a child throwing tantrums.

Ember knew this was going to happen. He just watched Wren, like it was another day.

Wren was nervously sitting inside the car. He was tapping his feet and biting his nails.
He knows he is going to get engaged with Lucien, but how can he stop it? He needs a plan, which he doesn’t have.
Wren glared at Ember. Ember and he can communicate with each other, through their minds.

Ember just turned around, showing his tail at Wren, ignoring that boy who was glaring at him.
Only Wren can see Ember, as Ember is a system, no human can see him.
The car came to a stop. Wren looked outside, and saw a luxurious mansion, being guarded by armed guards, a beautiful garden in front and a fountain too.
Wren followed Eryx's parents, and walked inside, looking around the place.

Ember sighed, and shook his head, while flying above Wren.

Wren and his parents were welcomed inside by the Salvius couple.
They were seated on the couch. Wren and Lucien were forced to sit next to each other, and the target was nowhere to be seen.

Ember rolled his eyes, he slightly bit Wren's ear with his beak.

He went to the second floor, and looked around the floor again.

He is in that shop, he is about to come out now.
Wren nodded. He took a deep breath and began walking.

He stood nearby the shop, he pulled out his shop and pretended to use it.

He is about to come out in a minute.
Wren waited for a moment, and he began walking, with his eyes on the phone.

Before Ember could even complete, Leonard, who was busy talking with the manager, didn't notice Wren and he bumped into him.
Wren bumped into him, and his phone fell down from his hand.

Leonard glared at Wren. Wren rubbed his forehead and looked at Leonard, his eyes looking so innocent and pure.

I-I, I am so sorry.
Leonard stopped, and just looked at Wren, his eyes fixed on him.

I didn't mean to. I was so busy looking at my phone. I am really sorry.
Wren picked up the phone, the screen had a small crack.

Leonard just coldly looked at Wren, and he turned around and left, the manager and his assistant followed him too.

Wren's eyes were on fixed Leonard's back.

Leonard entered the mansion, looking tired. He took off the coat.

Your engagement was supposed to be fixed today, right?
Lucien rolled his eyes. He grumpily said,
But then he smiled, because Wren said he isn't interested in this marriage.
Leonard just nodded, and went up to his room. He took a bath and changed into something comfortable, which was a loose t-shirt and a sweatpants.
He flopped on the bed, and closed his eyes. His back is finally finding some peace.
But his eyes snapped open when a pair of deep blue eyes came to his eyes.

What are you planning on doing next?
Wren hummed. He then smiled as he looked at Ember.
Eryx Mavrose (Wren)
Bump into him, many times.
Ember sighed. He closed his eyes and snuggled to the blanket, wrapping his wings around himself.

Wren just smiled at Ember. Wren always found this little phoenix adorable.
Wren was seated in a restaurant, in front of his eyes, Leonard was seated. Leonard was talking with his business partners, but sometimes, Wren's elegant presence was being a bother to him, a distraction.

Wren grinned. He was reading a book, while sipping on his coffee.

Wren looked at Lucien, and Lucien just shrugged his shoulders and looked away.

Wren felt like grabbing that bird and slapping the heck out of that bird, but he controlled his anger.
