Long ago, in ages long forgotten, there was nothing—only endless darkness. There was no light.
Yet from this void, five beings were born, known as the Gods. Each of them wielded immense power.
The first was Licht, the God of Light, whose mind was tainted by madness from the very beginning.
The second, Krad, was the God of Darkness.
The third, Emit, ruled over Time.
The fourth, Sun, governed the Sun itself.
And the last, Nomo, the Goddess of the Moon.
These gods shaped the world, bringing forth life, planets, weapons, and countless other creations.
As time passed, their numbers grew until there were too many to count.
To restore order among them, the Council of Gods was formed — a gathering of all gods and demigods. The council required a single ruler, the most powerful of them all, whose commands were absolute. That ruler was Licht.
Yet Licht ruled with madness in his heart — cruelly, and without mercy.
And after many long years, this is what came to pass…
