Main Characters :

Skylar Quinn (FL) - She is 23 years old from Australia but is currently working in England as a policewoman. She is cold, strong, hardworking, bold, beautiful and kind. Her parents died in an accident when she was very young. She has a younger brother who's still in college. She is very popular with the boys as well.

Jayden Hunter (ML) - He is 26 years old from England. He is cold, ruthless, dangerous, flirty, rich, powerful, tall and handsome. He is the leader of the world's most powerful mafia gang. He owns a lot of businesses and is the CEO of Hunter Group (the largest company in the whole world). Every girl will always fall for him at first sight.

Kristen Lee - She is 23 years old. She is a Korean English. She is Skylar's best friend since high school. She is funny, friendly, beautiful and sweet. She is also from a rich family based in Korea.

Max Payne - He is 25 years old from England. He is Jayden's best friend and right hand man. He is the second in command in the gang. He is serious, cold, seems emotionless but is very caring and he's not good in handling girls. In other words, he's extremely shy.

Amber Ford - She is 24 years old from America. She is the heiress of Ford Company (not in the Top 10 successful companies). She is rich, slutty and arrogant. She is also Jayden's fiancé because she only wants his money and fame. She hates Claire.

Ben Smith - He is 24 years old from England. He is Skylar's and Kristen's best friend. They have known each other since high school as well. He is gentle, handsome, friendly and caring. He has been pursuing Skylar for a long time.

Zac Quinn - He is Skylar's younger brother. He is 18 years old, in college. He is playful, smart, cool, handsome and very popular with the girls. He loves his sister very much and always help her to reduce her burdens. A very understanding and good little brother.

Skylar's POV :

It's midnight soon and it was pouring like dogs and cats, while I had just finished my round of patrolling.

Yes, I'm a policewoman. Although it's a job for tough men, I'm not that weak since I know a few kinds of martial arts. And I've always wanted to work as a person that brings justice. So it's my dream job.

Then, I decided to stop by a convenience store to get myself some hot cocoa and a red bean bun.

After getting what I needed, I left with a hot cocoa on my left while I was taking a bite from the hot and steamy bun.

"Ha...feels warm."

Thankfully I had my umbrella with me and the rain subsided a little.

As I was passing through a rather darker alley, I heard some screams of a terrified man.

"Please have mercy on me! My wife is due soon. I still have a family to look after...please..." A man cried out. It seemed like he was begging someone.

With my personality, I couldn't just leave people in danger alone. So I went and checked what's wrong.

What was before me sent chills down my spine.

Few men in black were standing while one of them, maybe it's their leader, was pointing a gun towards the man begging and crying on the ground.

"You should thought of that before you betrayed me by selling our secret information to our enemies. You've done a wrong thing. Now, any last words? 3, 2, on-"

"Hey! Stop! I'm a police. What are you doing?! Don't kill him! If he did anything wrong, he should be punished according to the law!" I interrupted before he fired the bullets.

And little did I know that my interference would bring forth my miserable days.

He turned his head back and looked at me from top to bottom. His face was beautifully carved, and he looked so gorgeous even though it was raining.

"Hoho woman, I suggest you to back off if you don't want trouble." He said menacingly.

I tried to hide my fear. I mean, who wouldn't be afraid when they're surrounded by tall and scary people with weapons?!

If it were just two and three guys, I would've taken then down easily. But nope, not in a situation like this.

"No! I won't go! Don't just kill innocent people without giving them a chance to change! How could you kill him when his wife and child is waiting for him at home?! Don't you pity the unborn child?!" I let my anger out.

He came forth and grabbed my chin. His grip was strong, I winced in pain.

"Then would you be willing to die for him?" He smirked terrifyingly.

That's it, I lost my temper and shoved his hands away.

"What the-! Are you insane?! You sick bastard! Killing innocent lives!"

He seemed amused by my behaviour.

Then I rearranged my emotions and said, "How about a deal? You let me handle this guy and I won't report you to the police department?"

Some of his men laughed.

I couldn't quite get it.

"Hahahahhaha...fine. Deal. But you owe me a favour and you shall fulfill whatever it is."

"Fine, contact me when you're ready." I said, while passing him my name card and contact number.

Before I walked off, I took the man sitting on the ground with me to the police station.

As I walked away, I shot him a fierce glare. He smirked.

Little did I know, that that day would change my life forever.

Jayden's POV :

It was raining heavily and I was dealing with a traitor who betrayed my gang by selling out information to our enemies.

Seriously, how troublesome.

My men surrounded him while he was begging on the ground. He kept crying and saying he still had a family to look after.

So what?

He should thought of the consequences of betraying me. Just as I was about to fire my gun, I heard someone shouting stop.

I turned my head back and found a very beautiful girl standing in the rain. Her aura was different from other girls I've met before. I gotta admit, her beauty indeed attracted me. But, it just had to be a policewoman. A woman at that.

I told her to back off before she causes trouble for herself and me.

"No! I won't go! Don't just kill innocent people without giving them a chance to change! How could you kill him when his wife and child is waiting for him at home?! Don't you pity the unborn child?!"

She let her anger out. I got angry and grabbed her chin. Not gonna lie, her face was indeed beautiful, while struggling from my strong grip.

"Then would you be willing to die for him?" I said terrifyingly. She eyes wide open at my words. She shoved my hands off powerfully and started the curse me with names.

Damn she got guts! No one has ever spoken that way to me, fight back with me and she's the first one. I'm intrigued.

She then calmed down and negetioted a deal with me.

"How about a deal? You let me handle this guy and I won't report you to the police station?"

My men laughed. I see she doesn't know who she's dealing with. I'm the leader of the world's most powerful gang. Even then police are scared of me.

She's just like a wild kitty and makes me want to tame her. Damn..I wanted her. She's so interesting.

So I agreed with condition that she'll fulfill whatever my request is. She then passed me her name card and contact number.

Ha! This girl doesn't know what she's getting herself into.

Before she left with that guy, she gave me a fierce glare.

This is fun... *smirks*

After she left, I gave a call to Max (my right-hand man).

"Max, I'm giving you half hour to find out all the information of a girl named Skylar Quinn. I expect to receive it when I'm home."

"Yes boss."

At his mansion :

I reached my mansion and went straight to my study room, ignoring the greetings of my housekeeper and butler, while Max followed me.

I was impatient to find out who she was.

As I settled down, Max gave me the report to see.

After reading it, I asked, "Does she have any past relationships?"

"It seems that she had an ex-boyfriend from college days but they broke up after 6 months after she found out that he cheated on her."

I was boiling with anger. How dare he?!

What's wrong with him...this is the first time he's been so interested in a girl. He usually just flirts around.

Max thought inside his mind while giving me his poker face.

"You may go." He bowed and left.

I laid my head back at my chair. I had a lot of things going through my mind, and it's all about her.

She left a huge impression on my mind... *smirks*
