The grand hall is bathed in moonlight seeping through tall glass ceilings. Red laser grids flicker faintly between display cases filled with priceless relics. EVANGELINE, dressed in black stealth gear, moves like a shadow across the marble floor.

*Whispering to herself* “There you are… the Red Jade Phoenix. Worth more than gold, guarded more than a king.”
She crouches behind a pillar, scanning the security pattern with a small holographic device. The lasers shift every ten seconds — she studies, times her breath, then moves.
Evangeline somersaults between the laser lines, landing silently beside a glass pedestal. Inside, glowing under the display light, rests the Red Jade Phoenix — a carved sculpture of mythical beauty, its eyes gleaming like rubies.

“Too easy.”
She pulls out a small thermal cutter and draws a perfect circle through the glass. The cut piece slides off without a sound. Her gloved fingers reach in and gently lift the relic.
The moment her hand leaves the pedestal — BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The alarm explodes through the silence. Red lights flare. Sirens wail. Metal shutters begin to close over the exits.

Armed guards flood the hallway, rifles aimed. Evangeline slides behind a marble statue, bullets pinging off stone. She throws a smoke bomb — thick gray mist engulfs the room.
