Don Vincenzo stands at the rooftop of his luxurious villa looking at the lovely view with a cigarette in his middle fingers.

"Don we have a problem"Macro his right hand man appeared at his back

"What problem?" Don Vincenzo ask with a thick low voice still facing the front

"Some gang burst into Franklin restaurant asking him money for protection" He said waiting for an answer

"Why telling me when you have the solution to it" He said

"I need your permission first"

Vincenzo toss his cigarette on the floor using his black well polished shoes to smash it and finally face Macro with his green cold eyeballs

"Why are you my right hand man?"

"Am sorry Don I will dealt with it immediately"He quickly apologies not wanting to get punished by him

"Good now get your ass out of here and show them what it feels like when messing with the Mafia gang" He said and remove another cigarette from his pocket and light it up

"Got that Don"Macro put his right hand at the lift corner of his chest and bow to Vincenzo before leaving.

Macro stormed out of the villa, his face set in a determined expression. He knew better than to disappoint Don Vincenzo. As he descended the stairs, he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

"Franco, assemble the boys. We have a problem at Franklin's restaurant. Some punks think they can muscle in on our territory."

Franco's voice was calm and collected on the other end of the line. "Already on it, Macro. I'll meet you there in 10."

Macro nodded, even though Franco couldn't see him. "Good. Bring the big guns. We'll show them what it means to cross the Morano family."

As he arrived at Franklin's, Macro could see the chaos. The restaurant's windows were shattered, and the owner, Franklin, was cowering behind the counter. Macro's eyes scanned the room, locking onto the leader of the rival gang.

"You're the one who thinks they can take a bite out of our territory?" Macro sneered, his hand resting on the grip of his gun.

The rival gang leader, a scrawny kid with a bad attitude, sneered back. "Or what? You'll shoot us? You're not that stupid, Macro."

Macro smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "Oh, I'm not going to shoot you. At least, not yet. First, we're going to have a little... chat."

And with that, Macro's men moved in, surrounding the rival gang. The kid's eyes widened as he realized he was in grave danger.

"You like what you see motherfucker"Macro said to him

"We can sort this out Macro, you don't need to bring your dogs along"The rival gang leader said

Just as Macro was about to give the order to take the kid away, a sleek black and red Chivron sport car pulled up to the curb. A huge tall man came out of the car to open the door for their boss, Vincenzo come out of the car and walk into the restaurant with his two hands in his pocket

"Don" They all greeted him

“Don...Vin....cenzo"The kid said in fear

"What are you doing here Don?"Macro asked him in surprise

"Are this the small piece of animals disturbing my territory"He eyes scanned around the restaurant and look at the leader

"I can take care of this Don"Macro said to Vincenzo knowing very well who he is

"Hand it over"He said and Macro give him a gun

"Please have mercy on us sir, we are just a small kids looking for a way to survive we never knew this place is under your protection please show mercy and we promise never ever to see us again"The kid pleaded and other members of the gang kneel to beg Vincenzo

Vincenzo take a cigarette out of his pocket while one of his subordinate light it up for him and order Franklin to serve him his usual coffee sitting on a chair.

Vincenzo took a long drag on his cigarette, his eyes fixed on the rival gang members as they cowered before him.

He exhaled slowly, a plume of smoke curling around his face.

"Mercy?" he repeated, his voice low and even. "You want mercy? You come into my territory, threaten my business, and you ask for mercy?"

"We are so sorry Vincenzo, we promise never to come back just have mercy on us"The kid pleaded him again

Don Vincenzo gaze shifted to Macro, who stood silently. "Macro you think they deserve mercy?"

Macro looked at the innocent gang members knowing very well Vincenzo never show mercy to anyone no matter how much pleading. "Could you show them mercy Don"Macro said to Vincenzo even though his answer is no

Vincenzo nodded, his expression cold. "I agree but on one condition" He smirked

"What is it sir, we will do it, we will do whatever you ask us to do I promise"The kid said and Vincenzo toss a gun to him

"Why don't you give me a little entertainment, kill your gang members then I will free you"He ordered

The kid's eyes widened in horror as he stared at the gun Vincenzo toss to him. "No, please sir, I can't do that!" he begged, his voice shaking.

Vincenzo's smirk grew wider.

"Ok" he said but just then his phone start ringing"Who is it"He asked his assistant who holds his phone

"Your Mistress"His assistant said and Vincenzo gaze at him deadly which makes His assistant change his words

"I mean Miss Linda"He corrected and hand the phone over to Vincenzo

"Hey babe what's taking you so long?"Linda ask him over the phone

"Just give me five minutes I will join you soon I have some business to take care here"He said to her

"Alright babe will be waiting for you"She and hang up before giving it back to his assistant

"Am counting up to three you should choose between killing your members and be set free or you die with them"He said to the kid

"Please sir I can't kill my friends, please just show mercy sir"The kid said but too bad for them Vincenzo pull out his gun and killed them all without moving an inch from where he stays"That not the answer I want....clear up their bodies"He said and left with his subordinate

"Macro let's go"He said to Macro who felt sadness for the dead innocent seven kids

"Am sorry to say this Don but am not interested in going to Linda place"He said

Vincenzo's expression turned cold, his eyes narrowing. "What did you just say, Macro? You are not interested in going to Linda's place?"

Macro hesitated, knowing he was taking a risk by disobeying Vincenzo. "Am sorry but I just can't stomach what we just did. Those kids were innocent."

Vincenzo's face twisted in anger. "Innocent? You think anyone is innocent in this world? You are either strong or weak, Macro you need to be tough just like me okay"He said and enter his car while his assistant closed the door.

AT LINDA'S APARTMENT

After seeing Vincenzo get down from his car Linda went ahead to hug him not wanting to leave him.

"How many months now since I have last seen your face"She whispered to his ear

"Let's go of me"Vincenzo said to her and push her away from him"Let that be the first and the last time you get close to me"He warned her and walk pass her to the living room

"I wonder when you will start giving me what I want, why are you here"She asked

"I will be transporting a goods by tomorrow at 2pm, I need some of your policemen to guide it to it destination without the FBI knowing"He said taking another cigarette and light it up

"Okay anything for you hon"She said and went closer to Vincenzo sitting on his laps with her hands were on Vincenzo’s face, her lips inches from his. “I’ve missed you so much,” she whispered, her breath hot against his skin.

Vincenzo’s expression remained cold, his eyes fixed on hers. He didn’t flinch, didn’t respond. It was as if he was made of stone.

Linda’s eyes narrowed, her grip on his face tightening. “Vincenzo, don’t be like this,” she purred. “I know you want me.”

Vincenzo voice was flat, emotionless. “I want what you can give me, Linda. Nothing more.”

Linda’s face twisted in anger, but she quickly composed herself. She leaned in closer, her lips brushing against Vincenzo’s ear. “I can give you everything you want,” she whispered. “Just let me in.”

Linda start unbuttoning his shirt slowly, She unbuttoned it to the third button but Vincenzo stop her.

“Am not here for this Linda just make sure my goods arrived to it destination safe and sound am leaving” he said to her and was about leaving

“You are leaving so soon, it been four months since we have seen each other last why can’t you just spend the night here for my sake” she pleaded

“Am busy I have no time for such, till next time” he button up his shirt and about to leave but Linda run to hug him from the back

“I don’t want you to leave Vincenzo, am tasting of you” She said to him

Vincenzo’s expression remained cold, unmoved by Linda’s pleading. He pried her arms off him, his voice firm. “I said I’m busy Linda, Don’t make me repeat myself.”

Linda’s face twisted in sadness, her eyes flashing with hurt. “Fine, leave then,” she spat “But the moment you step out of that entrance am no longer your loyal mistress, i will go ahead and cheat on you since you can’t give me what I want someone else will okay.”

Vincenzo turned to face her, his eyes glinting with warning. “Go ahead and cheat on me and then see what am capable of. Don’t forget that am still a Mafia Lord.”

With that, he turned and walked away but as he reached the door, he heard her crying. Vincenzo didn’t bother looking back, his mind already focused on the task ahead he knew Linda was trouble, but he needs her for now.

VILLA RICA

"Wake up bitch" Amelia pour a bowl of water at Sophia body who was still sleeping on a mat in a shady room

"Amelia?. How could you pour water on my cloth" She said to her sister who is only three months older than her

"How dare you call me by my name, call me Mrs Garcia cause soon I will be getting married into the Garcia family, now you have to follow me am going to the mall to get a dress for tomorrow family dinner with Richard’s parent or do you expect your elder sister to carry stuff all by herself" She said to Sophia

"You are getting married to Richard?" She ask with surprise look

"Ohhh sorry you have no idea, Richard proposed to me yesterday and tomorrow his parent are coming here for a family dinner so we can start preparing for my wedding, you have only three minutes to get dressed and join me outside you this useless thing your mom called a child" she said and left.

Sophia slowly got up, shaking off the sleep and humiliation. She is used to it, Amelia and her mom with dad, who are always been cruel and heartless, and Richard who have always been her first love ever since they are both in high school before she dropped out proposed to Amelia.

As she quickly got dressed in her rag clothes, Sophia couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She had always known that Amelia was ambitious, but she had never thought that she would stoop so low as to marry Richard her first love.

When Sophia arrived at the sitting room, Amelia and her mom are both talking and excited about Richard parent coming tomorrow for family dinner. "How do I look mom"Amelia said and turn around slowly to impress her mom

"You look gorgeous dear, the Garcia family will be happy to have you as their daughter in law"She compliment her daughter and notice Sophia standing at a corner looking at them

"Is this thing following you"Amelia mom ask pointing to Sophia

"Yes mom, I need her to carry my stuff for me"She said to her mom

"Ohhh ok, you should start going so you won't be late for your date"Her mom said and Amelia toss her bag to Sophia to carry it along for her

"Let go, we don't have much time," she said, barely acknowledging Sophia's presence.

As they arrived at the mall,

Sophia couldn't help but notice the way people looked at Amelia with a mixture of respect. It was clear that Amelia was determined to become a part of the Garcia family, no matter the cost.

But Sophia knew that she couldn't let her family's cruel words and actions bring her down, she was determined to find a way out of this toxic situation, no matter what it took.

BACK AT THE VILLA RICA

After Amelia and Sophia left, Mrs Madison who is Amelia mom went to meet her husband in the room with coffee in her right hand, she saw her husband looking at a message on his phone,

"The debt?" She asked and handed the coffee to her husband

"Yes, how do I want to pay this large amount of money, my business is just starting to grow and the loan shark are threatening me to pay off my loans or else I will face the consequences and you know very well what the loan shark are capable of, we have to find solution to it before something worst happened"Mr Madison said to his wife worried

"How about we ask the Garcia family for help, if they can borrow us half part of the payment we will pay them back in buck once your business grows very well" His wife suggested

"No dear we can't do that, the Garcia will want to look down on us thinking we are after their money we need to do this ourselves without the Garcia family knowing"He said

"I will try looking around for someone who can borrow me half part of the money when I arrived at my supermarket tomorrow" She said

"Really, you will do that for me?" The husband said excitedly

"Yes hon, I can't watch you suffer alone when am here to help"

"Thanks my lovely wife" He said to her.

As Mrs. Madison left the room, Mr. Madison couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. He knew that his debt was a ticking time bomb, and he had to find a way to pay it off before it was too late. He thought about his wife's suggestion to ask the Garcia family for help, but he knew that would be a last resort. He didn't want to owe them anything,

AT LE FONTANE SHOPPING CENTER IN COSENZA

After alot of clothes testing Amelia finally sees the one that suits her taste, a short white Burberry designer gown with black dior bag and heels,

“Wow Mrs Garcia you look amazing” one of the sales associates exclaimed, as Amelia admired herself in the mirror. “I know, right?” Amelia replied, smiling smugly. “I’m going to look stunning at the family dinner tomorrow”.

Sophia, who had been quietly observing from sidelines, couldn’t help but feel a pang of Jealousy. She had always dreamed of wearing beautiful clothes like that but she never get the chance due to her family maltreatment towards her, she always wandered if her mom was alive she wouldn’t have dropped out of school, she would have been a better person going around like a princess not like a slave but she knows for sure that everything happened for a reason

Just then, Amelia’s phone rang, breaking Sophia’s train of thought. “Ah, it’s Richard,” Amelia cooed making Sophia feel even more jealous, she answered the call. “Hello, darling”.

AT THE MAFIA EMPIRE

Vincenzo got down from his black pangani spot car and walked into the tall industry with Linda and Macro following him at his back, he takes the elevator up to the last floor of the building which is his office, he got out after the elevator got to his destination.

“Franklin already payed money for his restaurant protection this morning and it is already added to the company account” Macro report to him after letting Vincenzo sit on his office chair

“What about my goods, are they delivered safely to it buyer”He asked Macro

“Yes sir” He replied

“Good you are dismissed”He said to Macro and he leave his office

“You did a great job”He said to Linda who was looking around his fancy luxurious office

“What do you expect from an FBI agent, well since I have done your request don’t you think you should pay me for the good job i did”

“Name anything you want” He removed one cigarette from the pack which is kept on his office desk and light it up

“I want you”She said taking a sit opposite him crossed legged letting her fair laps revealing,

Vincenzo’s eyes narrowed slightly as he took a drag on his cigarette, his gaze fixed on Linda’s crossed legs. He couldn’t help but feel a spark of attraction towards her, but he knew he had to maintain his composure.

“I’m not sure am for sale,” he said, his voice low and smooth.

Linda smiled, her eyes locked on his. “Everyone has a price Vincenzo. And I think I can afford yours.”

Vincenzo raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her boldness. He leaned back in his chair, steeping his fingers together as he regarded her.

“Very well,”he said finally. “Am all yours”

“Meet me at five star hotel in Reggio tonight, Don’t keep me waiting” She said to him standing up about to leave

“You are beginning to have some gut these days” he said to her

“That because I learned it from you sweetie” she answered him and left while Macro entered

“Don we have some dealer who just arrived from Las Vegas” Macro said..

BACK AT THE MALL

Sophia was already on her way back home after seeing Richard pick Amelia up from the mall leaving her to walk home alone with hand full of Amelia’s clothes, she got exhausted and decided to take a break at the bus-stop but then she received a call from her only friend Jennet

“Hey Jennet” she greeted

“Wanna have a drink with me” Her friend said

“Kind of busy right now” She said just then a Peugeot 208 car drive to her front with the glass rolling down to see the driver, it turns out to be jennet with her phone still on her ear

“Hop in, let have a drink together, Won’t take much of your time”Her friend said and Sophia could only nod and get into the car before driving off.

As they drove away from the bus stop,

Sophia couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. She had been feeling so depressed about her family maltreatment and her own feelings of jealousy towards Amelia.

“Thanks for picking me up, Jennet,” Sophia said smiling at her friend. “I really needed this.”

Jennet grinned back at her. “Anytime girl. Now, Let get that drink and catch up. I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages.”

“As they drove to the nearest bar, Sophia couldn’t help but notice the luxurious interior of Jennet’s car

“Jennet, your car is amazing,” Sophia said, running her hand over the soft leather seats

Jennet laughed. “My car?, where do I want to get €1,000000 to get a Peugeot 208 car, this belongs to my boyfriend, I was able to drive it cause he is not around” Jennet said to her and pack her car well before coming down from it

“Wow, That a lot of money, your boyfriend must be a millionaire” Sophia said

“Somehow” Jennet answered not wanting to reveal a lot about her boyfriend

They both stepped into the bar and place an order, Jennet order for two glasses of red wine, while Sophia opted for a pineapple juice.

“So how are you coping with your families?” Jennet ask her while sipping her wine

“A bit, Amelia is getting married to the Garcia family I mean Richard”

“Ohhh that bad, I remember Richard used to be your first lover, shame on Amelia always taking whatever you have like daughter like mother” She said to her “So What are you gonna do about it, will you just watch her get married to Richard?”

“I have no choice than to leave them to get married to each other, If Richard sees me in this situation do you think he will like me or get married to a servant like me” She sipped her juice

“Hey girl, who said you are a servant, I know how much that family hates you but you are an amazing person, and you shouldn’t let your family turn you completely to a servant” Jennet said, her voice filled with conviction.

Sophia smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her friend. “Thanks, Jennet. Just talking to you makes me feel better.”

As they chatted, Sophia can’t help but notice the way Jennet seemed to be dodging questions about her boyfriend. She wondered who this mysterious boyfriend was and what did he do to afford such a luxurious car.

Just then, Jennet’s phone buzzed, and she excused herself to take the call.

After some minutes of calling, Jennet came back to meet Sophia

“Sophia I need to leave now, let me drop you at your place” Jennet said and place money on the table for the drinks

“Is Everything alright?” Sophia asked as she watched Jennet expression changed from relaxed to serious, and she wondered who was the caller

“I have a bit of emergency, let’s go” She said and they both drive off.

As they drove, Sophia notice the change in Jennet’s demeanor. She seemed tense and preoccupied, and Sophia wondered what had happened during that phone call.

“Jennet, what’s wrong?” Sophia asked, concern etched on her face.

Jennet hesitated, her eyes fixed on the road. “It’s just...my boyfriend, He needs me to take care of something.”

Sophia nodded, sensing that Jennet was really hiding something but she didn’t push the issue, knowing that Jennet would open up when she was ready.

As they approached Sophia’s house, she dropped Sophia off and sped away, Sophia enters the compound with Amelia clothes in her hand on getting inside she was surprised to see Amelia with her mother discussing

“Amelia you are back so soon?” She asked completely forgotten about the warning she give her”I mean Mrs Garcia” she corrected but then all of a sudden she received a heavy slap from her father.

“You this useless child, where have you been since you left the Mall?” Her father asked her

“Am sorry father, I was with my friend” she said

“Who is your father, am not a father to a bastard child like you, you are only a servant to this family, you staying here keeps annoying me, your sister is the only glorious child, now she is getting married into a rich family” He yelled and walked out of Sophia who is about to cry

“She is just as dump as her mother” Mrs Madison said “Let go discuss about your date with Richard” She said and Amelia asked the other maid to collect her stuff from her while she followed her mom to the room leaving Sophia to cry on her own..

AT THE MAFIA EMPIRE

INSIDE THE CONFERENCE ROOM

Vincenzo bounce in with his partner Macro to the conference room where three men are seated at a large, ornate table. The men’s faces were shrouded in shadows, their features obscured by the dim lighting.

“Ah, Vincenzo, Macro,” one of the men which seems to be their leader said, his voice low and gravelly.

“Welcome. We’ve been expecting you.”

Vincenzo nodded, his eyes scanning the room. “Gentlemen, I presume you’re aware of why we’re here?”

The man who spoke earlier nodded. “Yes, we are.”

“Then let go straight to business, I heard you have a proposal?”

Vincenzo leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together as he regarded the gang leader.

“Let hear it,”he said, his voice neutral.

The gang leader which are known as the Diablos nodded, his face still shrouded in shadows.

“We propose a joint venture,” he said. “A new drug, one that will revolutionize the market and gives us both a stranglehold on the city.”

Vincenzo raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

“Go on,” he said, his voice measured.

The Diablos leader smiled, a cold, calculating smile.

“We have the resources, the expertise, and the distribution network,” he said.

“But we need your...particular set of skills to make it happen.”

Vincenzo’s eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities.

“And what’s in it for us?” He asked, his voice dripping with skepticism.

The Diablos leader leaned forward, his eyes glinting with excitement

“A 60/40 splits, you have the 40 why we have the rest” he said”And a guarantee of protection and cooperation. We’ll work together to take down our enemies and secure our hold on the city.”

Vincenzo regarded him for a long moment, his expression unreadable.

“I’m interested,” he said finally, his voice low and deadly. “But I need to know more about this new drug”

The Diablos leader nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.

“The drug is called NYX”he said

“With just one single drop to the body it can make the person feel extremely powerful and unbeatable. We’ve already tested it, and the results are....impressive.”

Vincenzo’s eyes narrowed, his mind racing with implications.

“And what makes you think we can’t just take it from you?”he asked, his voice dripping with skepticism.

The Diablos leader chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound.

“Because, my friend, we’ve taken certain...precautions,” he said.

“Precautions that ensure our partnership is...mutually beneficial.”

Vincenzo’s eyes locked onto the Diablos leader, his gaze piercing.

“Okay then”he said, his voice measured

“When can we start the business?”

“We will start next week” He said and the Diablos leader stretch his hand for an handshake but Vincenzo declined it

“Till next week then”The Diablos leader said withdrawing his hand back before one of Vincenzo men escort them to the exist door.

“Do you think we can trust them Don?” Macro ask after the Diablos left their sight

“Keep an eye on them” He said to Macro and enter his office “And get me all the information you can on the Diablos” He command Macro

“Yes don and don there is something I need to discuss with you”He said making Vincenzo glance at him

“Linda?”He asked

“Yes don”

“Am afraid am not interested in listening to whatever you have to say about her”He said but just then his phone start ringing.

He smiled after seeing the caller name

“Hey son” He said

“Dad I wanna see you, am missing you so much dad” His six years old son said to him

“I know you do but you just have to wait a bit longer, here is too dangerous for you to come now, Don’t worry dad will visit you soon”He said

“Alright dad, can’t wait to see you in person, I love you so much”

“Love you too son, hope you are concentrating on your studies”

“Yes and I always take the first position”

“Good to hear that son” A small smile played on his lips

“Alright dad I need to go, Mr Bryan is here for my extra lesson bye dad”

“Bye” He hang up and his expression changed back to his usual

“Call me Selena”He said

“You still refuse to listen to what I have to say”

“Yeah just call me Selena” Macro left his office and called Selena who is Ronald assistant manager

Selena immediately dropped whatever she was doing to attend to Vincenzo avoiding any punishment by him, she is always scared of Vincenzo knowing very well what kind of devil he is,

As she stepped into his office her head down not wanting to have a eye contact with him.

“Selena I need you to transfer €500000 to my son” He said making Selena looked in surprise

“For...yo...ur son, your six yea...rs old son”She stammered

“You have problem with that” He ask with a thick voice staring at her

“No sir” She said to him still looking down

“You are dismissed” He said and she quickly ran out of his office in fear.

As Selena rushed out of the office, she couldn't help but wonder why Vincenzo was sending such a large sum of money to his six-year-old son. She had heard rumors about Vincenzo's dealings, but she had never suspected that he was involved in anything that would require him to send half a million euros to a child.

She quickly made her way to the bank, her heart still racing from the encounter with Vincenzo. As she transferred the funds, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off.

Meanwhile, Vincenzo sat at his desk, a calculating look in his eyes. He knew that the money would be used to ensure his son's safety, but he also knew that it was a risk.

But Vincenzo wasn't worried. He had taken care of everything. The money would be untraceable, and his son would be protected.

LATER IN THE EVENING

Vincenzo left his empire and head to the five star hotel they both agreed to meet with his subordinates following him,

Soon he got there, he was greeted by the hotel staff before leading him to the VIP room where Linda is waiting for him,

As Vincenzo entered the VIP room, Linda stood up, her eyes fixed on him. She was dressed in a elegant red dress, her hair styled perfectly.

“Am glad you came, thought you wouldn’t keep your promise” She said, her voice smooth

Vincenzo nodded, his eyes scanning the room. His subordinates took positions outside, guarding the door.

“What do you have to say” he said, his voice firm

Linda smiled, pouring a glass of wine into two glass cup and went closer to Vincenzo handling him one glass of wine “Cheers” She clinch her glass with his’s before drinking hers

“Hmmm so refreshing” She mutter”Go ahead and drink yours, you don’t think I put some love potion in it” She joked and Vincenzo drink it all

“Good” She said

“Now can you tell me what exactly you want or have to say to me”

“Well find out yourself” She said and lock the door removing the card key and toss it under the bed ”You aren’t leaving here tonight not until you satisfy me” She whispered to his ears and pushed him on the bed.

Vincenzo's eyes widened in surprise as Linda's demeanor changed from calm to seductive. He tried to protest, but she was too quick. She had already locked the door and hidden the key.

"Linda, what are you doing?" Vincenzo asked, trying to maintain his composure.

Linda just smiled and continued to undress, her eyes fixed on Vincenzo. "You're a busy man, Vincenzo. Always dealing with business and enemies. I think you need a break. And I'm here to give it to you."
