I'm Taehyung, a photographer from Daegu. A few days ago, I came to Busan for a special photoshoot to capture themes for my upcoming photo exhibition. The shoot was done already and today was the day I had to return to Daegu. But when I reached the station, I found out that my train was 5 hours late. I was very much frustrated and irritated like anything, but there was nothing I could do. 😑

I sat on a bench, my camera bag next to me. That's when I noticed a mango tree nearby. Ripe mangoes were hanging from it. My stomach growled, "I really want a mango."

I immediately went towards the tree, stretched my hands, jumped but the mango was too high. I became sad and was about to go back to the bench but then, I noticed a guy sitting a little farther away on another bench, holding a sketchbook and he kept looking at me.
It felt a little strange. I walked up to him.

"Are you sketching me?" I asked.
Jeon Jungkook
Got startled but then giggled shyly, "S....sorry.... I was about to give it to you once I finished...."

And then I saw his bambi-like eyes, that soft little giggle...
My heart literally skipped a beat.
But I kept my expressions in check and then asked sternly, "Why are you drawing my portrait?"
Jeon Jungkook
"I'm sorry.... you..... ummmm.... you looked beautiful, so I started drawing. I was going to give it to you." 🥹

I thought for a moment... then said, "Okay." And gave him a little bombastic side eye. 👀

After a few moments, he finished the sketch and handed it to me.

To be honest, the sketch was really beautiful. I looked at him and said, "O....Okey, do one more thing. Go pluck that mango for me."

Face lit up and a wide bunny smile spread across it 😃. Ran to the tree, climbed up, and brought back the mango.

Noticed tattoos on his hand as he really like tattoos but ignored it.
Jeon Jungkook
Asked, "Where are you from? I live here in Busan and it's a small town, I know almost everyone here, you...... seem new."
Kim Taehyung
Casually replied, "I don't share my details with strangers. And you look like a creepy bunny."
Jeon Jungkook
Smile faded a bit, looking a little sad.
But then an idea struck him, and he said, "Why don't I show you around Busan?"
Kim Taehyung
Gave him a suspicious look. "I don't trust strangers."
Jeon Jungkook
"I'm a good person.... you can trust me."
Kim Taehyung
"Every creep says that."
Said coldly.
Jeon Jungkook
Looked a little extra sad again at that.

"Ummmm..... I can go with you on one condition."

Immediately got excited and again smiled a bunny smile, bigger this time. His bambi eyes sparkled. "Yes, Deal done."

"Listen to the deal first." 😑

"The deal is, You won't ask for my name, phone number, or address. And I need to be back here within 4 hours as my train is 5 hours late."
Jeon Jungkook
Looked a little disappointed, but agreed anyway.🫡

Laughed and replied, "Are you a kid?" 😂

Got annoyed and started to walk away.

Giggled and pulled him back.

And then began our Busan tour, a day I would remember for the rest of my life.
We ate ice cream, went to malls, tried on funny sunglasses, and he even made a flower crown and put it on my head.
He made me laugh like a child.... those 4 hours became a mini lifetime for me.
But then the time came to say goodbye.
We smiled, but our hearts didn't want to part.

Waved bye with teary eyes but a heart warming smile on his face.

Waved back with teary eyes.

Sat on the train, thinking to himself, "What did I just do? I spent 4 hours with a total stranger and now.... I'm attached to him?"

Took out the sketch and looked at it.
A tear rolled down.
Kim Taehyung
Was about to put the sketch back in bag.... Then noticed something written on the back of the paper.

Heart froze for a second.
There it was written.....

Gave a bunny smile in return and giggled happily and hugged his Eomma and Appa.

His Eomma and Appa returned with love but when the little kid was busy hugging his parents, his appa didn't miss the opportunity to peck his Eomma's strawberry tinted lips.
