Omega Wars Chronicles

Chapter 1/Episode 0: Story Of The Weak

Since the world reformation, many of the world countries have been brought down and new ones have risen.

America, England, Japan and many other countries have all fallen and been reformed, after the great war and the re-merging of the continents as one (literally).

In one of those new countries, which is Kingain- Arklight city; A teenage boy laid asleep on his desk, but was suddenly woken up by the sound of a hand slamming on his desk.

"Bell!" a masculine voice shouted, "Wake up, you've been asleep for too long! Answer my question!"

Bell suddenly jumps off from his chair in fright and sees the man that slammed the table, scowling at him.

"Wha- -! Sorry about that Mr Kain!" Bell said out of fright, "You see the great war was caused, due to a certain man known as Jonas James, when he tried to-!"

"Bell, i didn't ask about who started the great war." Mr Kain cuts in, "I asked if you will be able to participate in fixing some parts of the school."

"Oh, you mean the parts that were destroyed by the fight that our class had?" Bell asked.

"Yes, the fight that occurred between the second year students of this Emerald high and other the second year students of Apricot high." Mr Kain said, "I know you weren't present when it occurred but you are still part of the class, and since the headmaster has refused to waste any money on repairing what has been damaged; He ordered that your class will fix the damages done by themselves."

Bell bends his head down in sadness as Mr Kain began to walk away from the class. Right before Mr Kain could leave the class, he suddenly stops and looks at Bell.

"Oh and Bell, since you are physically weak, I assigned the easiest work for you to do... carrying buckets of water." Mr Kain said while smiling, "And don't worry, i made sure that the buckets are quite small for you."

The entire class bursts out in laughter, concerning what Mr Kain said and Bell quickly sat on his chair and covered his head with a book, in shame.

During the work, Bell even struggled to carry the bucket of water and became exhausted from trying to lift it .

As Bell attempted to lift up the bucket once again, two female students passed him by.

"Wow, even a bucket of water is difficult for him to carry?" One of them said as she was carrying two logs of wood on both of her shoulders.

"I know. It's quite shocking right?" the other female said as she was carrying a large metal pipe.

"Hey Bell!" A male student called out as he was carrying seven logs of wood on his shoulder, "What's wrong? is the bucket of water, too much for you to handle?"

"Leave him alone." Another male classmate said while smiling, "It's not his fault that he is weak, but then again, i guess it cannot be helped!"

The entire second year students, bursts out in laughter against Bell, which made Bell angry and attempt severally to carry the bucket, but to no avail and ended up panting for air.

At Arklight city hospital, Bell was in the doctor's office, while sitting beside a muscular old man, who was also discussing with the doctor.

"Good afternoon, Mr Godwin." The doctor greeted.

"Good afternoon, doctor." Mr Godwin greeted, "Oh and please, like i usually say, call me Gucci granddad."

"Ah, yes, Gucci granddad." The doctor said while smiling.

"You told us to meet at 4:30 pm?" Gucci granddad asked

"Yes, Mr- i mean Gucci granddad." the doctor replied, "... About your grandchild's condition...I'm sorry... There is nothing we can do. His condition is something, he might just have to deal with for the rest of his life."

Bell became shocked with what the doctor said and began to stare at him.

"Okay." Gucci granddad said as he puts a candy in his mouth, "Thanks for letting me know."

As Bell's grandfather stood up to leave and Bell followed him, the nurse beside the doctor began to scratch her head in confusion.

"A man of his age shouldn't be taking candy or wearing shades, like he is in his 20s." The nurse said.

"He was once my teacher, you know." the doctor said, "Damn, he was so flamboyant that he made all the cool teens in our school, look like nobodies."

"He was once your teacher, you say?" the nurse asked, "How old is he now?"

"A 170 years." the doctor replied with a smile.

"A hundred and seventy?!" The nurse asked in shock.

"Yes. He is a 170 year old man with a 20 year old body." The doctor said, "But i gotta admit, he is still as flamboyant as ever. Though, i find it hard to believe that him and Bell are related."

As nightfall had reached, Bell's grandfather switched off the lights and walked out of Bell's room. As Bell tried to go to sleep, he started to hear voices of his classmates and adults.

"Ha, look who it is! Bell, the weakling!"

"The weakest boy in Emerald high."

"Sup, biscuit bone!"

"Gucci, your grandchild is truly fragile."

"What a fragile boy."

"I never believed anybody to be weak, but damn, that boy is weak."

After recalling all their words, Bell sat up on his bed and began to sob. While Bell was sobbing, his room door slightly opened and the lights came on, which appeared to be his grandfather, eating candy.

"What's wrong, boy?" Bell's grandfather asked.

"Oh, it's nothing" Bell replied, "It's just... why does it have to be me? All my life, I've been called weak, fragile and other sorts of things, because of my condition.

It's not my fault, i am like this. Today, i couldn't even carry a bucket of water, but many of my classmates carried logs, pipes and other materials easily. How long will this go on, grandfather? How long? If only i was strong. If only i had enough strength and power, then i wouldn't be looked down on. Yes, if only i was the strongest boy in Emerald high or the world, then i would be respected."

"Hold on." Bell's grandfather said, "Being strong is one thing, but being the strongest is quite..."

"But it will get me some respect!" Bell cuts in, "At least, no one will look down on me as a weakling, ever again."

Bell's grandfather bursts out in laughter and instantly crunched his candy.

"Baka. You honestly believe that being the strongest will make people respect you?" Bell's grandfather asked with a smile on his face, "Boy, I've been alive for a 170 years; from being used for child trafficking, to becoming the coolest teen in my school, to being a soldier, a teacher, an author, a healer and many other things. And i finally understood, when I was younger..."

"...That even the strongest can get spat on." Bell's grandfather said while unwrapping another candy, "It doesn't matter if you are the strongest or not. You are not above getting killed or being looked down. Have all the power you want, but let your personality suck, you will still get looked down on. If you have a great personality but you are a weakling, you still get looked down on by some people. Even if you have a great personality and you're the strongest, there are still some people that will spit on your face."

"So there is no winning?" Bell asked sadly.

"Boy, didn't i tell you that i was an author?" Bell's grandfather asked with a smug look on his face, "Now, I'm going to tell you a story about an old work, i never published, called 'Omega Wars: Chronicles'."

"Omega Wars: Chronicles?" Bell asked.

"Yes. Now zip your mouth and listen to your one and only, Gucci granddad." Bell's grandfather said as he unwrapps another candy and puts in his mouth.

"Now listen carefully." Bell's grandfather said, "Long ago, there was ancient kingdom known as Agaroth. It was considered as the most powerful human kingdom that ever existed, mainly because Agaroth has never lost to any other race and not to mention, this happened before humans decided to go their own way."

"Now, Agaroth was so powerful that they never used weapons to fight, but instead relied on a special energy that flowed within them known as 'Kan'.

Kan was a powerful energy that granted the humans, great strength and speed.

Strength, that they were able to shatter pure steel with their fists and split the earth with a kick, and speed so great, that they could move beyond what the eyes could perceive.

Those tribes of Agaroth that possessed Kan, were considered as major tribes and those that didn't posses Kan, were looked down on and considered as minor tribes. However, there was a 15 year old boy ****named Cloud****, who came from a minor tribe but never gave up on his dreams on becoming the greatest, and this is his story."

, w

In a blue leaved forest, during the day, Cloud wakes up from his dream and sees the sun setting, leaving him with a scared wtf face.

"Oh crap, I overslept!" Cloud said within himself as he quickly stood and started running,"How many times have i gone late to class, now? I know! If i can just..."

Cloud suddenly stops as he sees a man standing front of him, folding his arms and frowning.

"Uh, hey, Schroeder." Cloud said nervously, "How's it going?"

"Come here!" Schroeder said as he grabs Cloud by the ear and began to drag him forward.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Cloud said in pain as he was holding the arm that Schroeder is using to grab his ear.

"Cloud, how long will you keep doing this?" Schroeder asked, "Are you aware, that you have been missing class, alot? I've lost count of how many times, you've been doing that. I mean, you were five months late, when you first arrived to the Pilgrim academy, but out of grace and pity, we let you in. Yet, you're still screwing up."

Cloud began to recall 8 months ago, when he first arrived at the pilgrim academy and stood in front of his entire classmates.

"Hi, my name is Cloud of the Stormwind tribe." Cloud said with a smile while closing his eyes, "And i only have two goals: one is to the first minor tribe member to become a pilgrim of Agaroth and the second is ..."

The entire class stared at Cloud, wondering what he is going to say.

"...Is to become the greatest warrior of all time!!!" Cloud said as he hoped up in excitement with one arm raised in the air, while closing his eyes and grinning.

The entire class bursts out in laughter and began to mock him.

"Is this some kind of joke?!"

"Has his white hair, wiped out all his senses?!"

"Greatest, my ***!"

"Yeah, like a minor could ever compete with a major!"

"Hey,what's so funny?!" Cloud angrily asked, " Laugh all you want but one day, I'm going to make you all stare at me in awe!"

The laughter of the entire class, increased heavily at what Cloud had said and still continued mocking him.

"Give us a break, would ya?!"

"This white haired guy is deluded!"

"Stop humiliating yourself and take a seat!"

After recalling that moment, Cloud noticed that many students were walking out of the class and he sadly entered it.

"Oh, there he is. The greatest early comer of our class." A voice said. Cloud to turns to espy the speaker and found it to be a ghost white teen, folding his arms while leaning on the wall.

"Oh, Sting, it's you.." Cloud said.

"Ah, yes. And what stopped you from coming early, this time?" Sting asked.

"Well,i-"

"Forget it." Sting cuts in, "Today is the day, we are supposed to receive our results on what our ranks are, as pilgrim candidates. Mine was a B+. You better go collect yours, before Zera leaves."

Cloud spots Zera and went after her. Just as he reaches Zera and began to discuss with her, Sting sighed .

"Man, this guy is really a case."

Zera hands Cloud his rank result on a paper and Cloud stares at it in shock.

"A 'C class candidate'?" Cloud asked, "But why am i-"

"Shut up!" Zera cuts in as she hammer fisted Cloud's head, "It's more than you deserve! You came 5 months late, you are the weakest, you do poorly in class, tasks and training and yet, here you are, complaining about having a C?! You should have been a D- but out of pity and because there were no C class candidate, we gave you that C. So don't go complaining about your rank, YOU DAMNED WHITE HEAD!"

"Damn, she's still scary." Cloud said within himself.

"Wow, you are amazing, Karma!" A feminine voice said.

"No way. An S ranked candidate?"

A masculine voice said.

Cloud turns round and sees a group of students surrounding Karma, while she was seated.

"Karma, you really are incredible!" A male student said.

"Yeah, an S rank is no -"

"Would you low life clods, get the hell away from me." Karma cuts in as a female student was trying to compliment her, "The stench of you lessers, is really starting to piss me off."

All the students that were surrounding her, grudgingly walked away from her, while murmurings among themselves.

"The hell?" A female student said.

"So much for trying to congratulate her" A male student said.

"You know what? Just forget about her." Another male student said.

As a the students had left her, Cloud began to stare at Karma with a bit of jealousy.

"Karma: the top student of this Tall order pilgrim academy." Cloud said within himself, "Don't know much about her, but the little i know, is that she can be an arrogant pain in the ***. But don't worry, she maybe the strongest for now, but one day, I'll be the one, who will surpass her. Just one day."

While Cloud was in the dinning room, eating far from other students, a group of other students surrounded Cloud.

"Well would you look at that." A male student said,"The C ranked white head is depressed."

"Let him be, Van" A female student said, "After all, he showed us, once again why he is a failure."

"Yeah, Van. Juni is right." Another male student said, "This minor is just a winner wannabe. Isn't that right, Rico?"

"You've got that right, Garl." Rico replied.

"Van, Rico,Juni and Garl. The self proclaimed rulers of the academy." Cloud said while smiling, "Funny part is that none of you are part of the big ones. Just an 'A rank', a 'B rank', an 'A-' and a 'B-'. No 'A +' or 'S'. The funny part of the whole thing is that, you are all picking on a C ranked student, just to make yourselves feel better. Wow, imbeciles will always be imbeciles, I guess."

"Wow, you've got a mouth on you." Juni asked with a smile, "Maybe, i should teach you how to control it!"

"Let him be, Juni." Garl said, "It's not like he is worth spit, anyway.

"You know, for someone who came from a minor tribe, you've got a lot of nerves, proclaiming that you'll become the strongest." Van said with a smirk, "As Garl said, 'You aren't worth spit', I spit on your dead tribe, Cloud."

Cloud instantly loses his temper and punched Van in the face, but the punch didn't faze Van. Van smiled and retaliated with a punch of his own, sending Cloud, crashing through tables.

"What's wrong?!" Van asked while smirking, "Can't handle a weak punch? Come now, this shouldn't be anything for someone, who declared, he'll become the strongest."

Despite Cloud, bleeding all over his face, Cloud still stood up and ran towards Van to punch him but Van easily caught his fist and punched him again, in the face, which pushed Cloud back a bit.

"That punch was weaker, you know." Van said while still smirking.

Cloud still charged towards Van, to punch him but Van easily evades the attack, punches Cloud on the belly and headbutts him, causing Cloud to fall on his knees. As Cloud fell on his knees, Van kicks Cloud on the face, sending him sliding on his back.

"Aw, come on." Van said as he was walking towards Cloud, "You are letting me down, strongest. It's such a shame, that your fists can't do squat against me."

"If i can't punch that look off your face... Then I'll just have to kick it!" Cloud said as he quickly turns around to land a high kick on Van's face.

However, Cloud's ankle was easily caught by Juni, right before his kick could connect, leaving Cloud in shock. Juni suddenly smiled and tossed Cloud to the ground.

"Stupid minor." Juni said as she kicked Cloud on the face, right before he could get up, "You know what guys, let's gang up on this fool and teach him his place."

"Right!" Garl said, "Let's do this!"

Garl, Juni and Rico, began to mercilessly stomp on Cloud.

After stomping on Cloud, Van walked towards the battered Cloud and grinned as he sets his foot to stomp on Cloud's head.

"Hey, White head." Van said, "Sleep well."

Just as Van drove his foot down to stomp on Cloud's head, his foot got blocked by another student's foot, which happened to be Sting.

"Enough." Sting said

"Oh, it's you." Van said, "Came here to save your best friend, i presume?"

"Four students, ganging on a single C ranked student. Quite pathetic, if you ask me" Sting said as he began to emit a green aura, " Why don't you pick on someone your own size."

"Like you?" Van asked with an evil smirk as he began to emit a lilac aura.

"Hold up, are Van and Sting about fight?!" A male student said as other students gathered to watch.

"This is going to be awesome!" A female student said.

"Awesome? This is going to be a blood bath!" Another female student said.

"Yeah, you are right." a male student said, "There is no way Sting can beat Van."

"Is this Sting?" Another male student asked within himself, "This odd level of power, cannot be coming from a B+ student!"

"Van, not here." Garl said as he held Van by the shoulder, "If you two fight here, then you'll end up destroying the entire place and we'll get in trouble for it."

"Yeah, Let's go, Van." Juni said.

Van scoffs as he joins his friends and walks away from Sting.

As Van left the dinning room, Sting assisted the injured Cloud, in standing up.

"I'm taking you to Leorona, so just hang on, okay?" Sting said

As the partly conscious Cloud was on Sting's shoulders, Cloud recalled his past of his 5 year old self, standing and talking with his parents.

"Don't worry about it!" Little Cloud said with excitement, "If they should reopen the Pilgrim organization, I'm going to join them and become the first ever Stormwind to become a Pilgrim and from there, I'll be the greatest warrior that ever lived!"

"Oh, don't worry about it" Cloud's mother said, "I'm sure, you'll do very well as a pilgrim."

"Yeah and we'll be there to support you." Cloud's father said.

Five years later, Cloud was staring at the pile of corpses of the Stormwind tribe, including his mother and father's corpses.

Chapter 2/ Episode 1: Never Enough

At the assembly hall , all the students has assembled before Zera and the other teachers as Zera has prepared to give her announcement.

"Good morning everyone" Zera said, "You've been assembled here to be informed that the Pilgrim candidate tournament will begin in a few weeks and because of that I want to encourage every student here to do their best in this tournament and the rumble of worth. These nine months of intense training for elites will truly show who and who have what it takes in strength and the representation of Agaroth and since the positions in becoming Pilgrims has become even tighter now that they are taking a few, that's the more reason you have to push harder".

"I must say I've become fond of some of the students here.." Zera said as she looks at Karma for a moment with a smile on her face .

"...And their progress, that's why I believe that none of you will disappoint us or Agaroth itself,so be strong,be determined, show us how worthy you are in the rumble of worth and prove that you deserve not only to be in the tournament but to be a pilgrim as well.. for Agaroth!!"

"For Agaroth! For Agaroth! FOR AGAROTH!!" All the students chanted  while lifting up their fist and cheering.

Cloud being moved by the enthusiasm of the environment, gave a grin after the chant and cheer and began to speak within himself

"This is it,the chance to prove my worth. So mother, father and every deceased member of my tribe just wait..I'm going to keep my promise and become the first minor tribe member to become ... a Pilgrim!"

Zera spotted Cloud among the crowd and her smiling visage changed into a more serious and emotionless one.

"Oh and I also have to announce that Cloud won't be participating in the rumble nor the Pilgrim tournament."

A tiny murmuring occured among the students due to Zera's announcement and Cloud himself was surprised by this announcement

"Huh... But why?!" Cloud asked

"Are you serious?" Zera asked

Zera comes down from the pulpit and walks towards Cloud

"You are the lowest among all the students here. One who should have even been given a D but out of pity we gave you a C. You have no talent, no kan and your combat senses are poor; you're practically a joke. You weren't present during the first five months of intense training where some of the students even lost their lives while some left because they could not handle the pressure...You came after these five months when the training became a bit mild, but you still barely survived and passed them, plus don't get me started on your performance in class.."

"But..." Cloud tries to cut in.

"Shut up!" Zera cuts back.

Zera's emotionless face changes to an angry face

"Do you honestly believe you could compete with this type of performance? Are you from the Dreygar tribe? The Ripar tribe? The Tenplars? The Graundars? The Kenars? No, you're from the Stormwind, a mere tribe of hunting warriors that doesn't even posses a single kan...what are you going to do, pull a blade or any other type weapon to fight the others? Kan nullifies weapons, Cloud! The greater and powerful the weapons, the greater and more powerful the nullification. What else are you going to do? Use your fists? Please your strength and speed is a joke to the weakest kan user. Your mere presence is an insult to ..."

"Zera!" Zotek cuts in, while being disgusted at her. "That's enough, don't insult him because of his tribe. It's not ..."

"I don't give a damn about his tribe!" Zera cuts back. "He needs to learn the truth. The harsh reality that he is nothing..less than nothing and I'm the verge of throwing this mighty disgrace of a warrior's name out of this academy once and for all, which would make him the first student to be officially thrown out of this place by a teacher but i don't care ! Someone needs to put this white haired runt in his place."

Cloud clenches his fist as his face appearance changes to an angry one.   The door suddenly opens as Schroeder walks into the assembly to relay his message.

"Sorry for interrupting, but all the teachers are needed by a special guest".

"Huh? Who is it?.." Zera asked

"It's the current Chief of the Tenplar tribe...Chief Tenya" Schroeder answered.

The students began to murmur among themselves, after hearing the revelation.

"A Chief?"

"Chief Tenya..what is she doing here?"

"Whatever reason she is here for, it must be highly important."

Leorona looks at the students and sighed

"Class dismissed."

As all the students were leaving, Cloud and Zera were still glaring at each other.

"Cloud!" Sting called. "Let's go,don't be an idiot and do something rash."

"Zera...!" Zotek called

"Fine...I'm coming." Cloud and Zera both answered

The both of them turns their backs at each other and goes their separate ways.

In a private room, Chief Tenya was sitting on a chair with her legs on a desk, while the teachers stated at her with a bit of nervousness.

"Um...welcome, Chief Tenya." Leorona said, "How can we help you?"

"Honestly, this is a surprise to us." Zotek said

"Can we get you anything to eat?" Schroeder asked

"If we had known you were coming, then we would have prepared something for you to..." Zera halted as Tenya

Tenya lifts up her palm as a sign for her to stop.

"My apologies for not alerting you on my incoming arrival" Chief Leorona said,

"I just wanted to stop by and see how the academy is training the young ones in becoming Pilgrims. After all this is the second generation of young Pilgrims, created to make our young ones more experienced in battles in case of any wars and to perform special tasks given to them by we the Chiefs, for the good of Agaroth and humanity ...isn't that right?"

"Well...uh...yes,that's right!" Zera nervously replied, "I can assure you that none of the future pilgrims will disappoint you or Agaroth"

"Good! Ever heard of Cloud of the Stormwind?" Tenya asked, while paying attention to her fingernails

Zera instantly becomes infuriated  and slams her palm on the table, shattering it in the process

"THAT WHITE HAIRED BASTARD!"

Zera's instant reaction surprised her fellow teachers and Tenya herself.

"Zera! control yourself, woman!!" Zotek shouted as he tried to call her to order.

Zera began to emit a blazing aura, which made Schroeder and Leorona step back a bit.

"That white haired pig is a disgrace and a pathetic excuse for a warrior and i'll make sure that he is thrown out of this academy personally!" Zera angrily said.

"You will do no such thing!" Chief Tenya angrily objects. "And you might as well learn how to control your tone when you are around others, Missy!"

The teachers began to slightly tremble at the uneasy presence they were feeling in the environment, that even Zera's blazing aura immediately went off. Chief Tenya, later exhales in order to calm herself down.

"I've met the boy before.." Chief Tenya said, "And to be honest, he is not that bad. He has a lot of guts trying to join the Pilgrims association, despite where he is coming from. After all Agaroth wasn't built based on who was stronger but on unity instead."

"No. With all due respect, Cloud cannot participate in the rumble or the tournament." Zotek said. "I'm not saying this because of any hard feelings towards him like Zera. Hell, i even disagree with half of all her reasons.

I'm saying this because Cloud does not possess any Kan at all and that puts him in a very dangerous position against others. His fighting style is weak; in terms of strength or speed, he is not even close to an average Kan user and not to mention that in the rumble of worth and Pilgrim tournament, no one will hold back at all, which would make it absolutely fatal for Cloud."

"I see... You said his fighting style is weak, right?" Chief Tenya asked.

"Yes." Zotek replied

"Let me ask you something and please be honest with me." Chief Tenya requested.

"Is there any student in this academy that you haven't personally taken your time to teach?"

All of the teachers became mute in  Chief Tenya's  question and began to stare at her.

"Ah...Well it's settled then." Chief Tenya said. "The problem may have come from his foundation as a warrior but at least he wants to learn despite his flaws, and if any of you had taken your time to train him, then he wouldn't be as bad as you say he is..."

"But he can't.." Zera tries to cut in.

"Enough!" Chief Tenya furiously cuts back instantly as she instantly emits a purple aura that increased the gravity of the environment a bit, causing the teachers to fall on their knees.

"I didn't come here to argue...Cloud will participate in the rumble and tournament and that's final!" Chief Tenya said calmly, despite her angered expression.

Tenya exhales once again in order to calm down and sighed.

"I'm sorry for my behavior, honestly I can't really control my power when my emotions gets high even if it is a bit, which is why I try to stay calm when dealing with things or people."

"No need to apologise, Chief, you're right...", Zera said while getting up along with the other teachers. "We have been looking at Cloud in a one sided manner and I would like to correct that mistake."

The teachers and Tenya were looking at Zera with concern of her as Zera gave off an evil smirk

"I have a plan..."

The students assembled at the assembly hall as Chief Tenya and the teachers enters the hall and Zera approaches Cloud.

"Cloud, I admit I was too harsh on you.", Zera said "And because of that, I'd like to give you a chance to participate in the rumble of worth but under one condition...you must defeat a fellow student in a fight in order to prove that you are strong enough to participate in it."

After Zera had finished revealing her stipulation, the students began to murmur among themselves.

"Defeat a fellow student?".

"Well it seems fair to me,I mean if he felt that could participate in the rumble and tournament to face off other students then why not show it now that he has what it takes."

"That white head is so doomed."

Zera smirked at the reaction of the students but Cloud didn't seem bothered which added to her happiness

"Now can i get a volunteer ?", Zera asked "The one who will fight Cloud... anyone?"

A hand sticks out amongst the crowd who appeared to be Van , agreeing to face Cloud

"Yeah I'll fight." Van said. "I wanna see what this white head is truly made of"

Again the students murmured amongst themselves, due to Van volunteering to fight Cloud.

"Whoa, you're joking...Van!? Cloud doesn't stand a chance against him".

"He never stood a chance against anyone to begin with".

"You mean the guy that usually picks on Cloud is going to fight him? This is bad."

Zera began to grin at the reaction of students concerning the fight and folds her arms.

"You see Cloud, everyone is against you and no one expects you to win and why would they?" Zera asked "After all you are weak, fragile and untalented. So why don't you just give up and stop wasting everyone's time, hmm?."

"What's with you and always trying to make me look small, huh?" Cloud asked while clenching his fist. "Ever since I got here, you've always been picking on me and it's getting old... really old Zera! No one expects me to win, so what?! I didn't push myself on survival based on what others think of me. Whether you look up to me or look down on me, I always keep pushing and struggling to survive no matter what, that's just who i am and who I'll always be..So let's go!!" Cloud exclaimed as he turned around to face Van.

"Stop right there before you make another move." Zotek said before Cloud and Van could engage each other. "You know I've been thinking about this fight and truly, I do believe it is fair for him because he believes he can participate in the rumble and tournament, but Van, since you're so confident that you could easily crush him, then how about this, you win if you can knock out Cloud but if Cloud should land one hit, just one hit on you..then you lose!"

"No problem. As if this white haired bug could even touch me to begin with" Van said while stretching his arms.

"Alright then, Begin!" Zotek ordered.

Cloud charges towards Van to punch him but Van easily averted it and punched Cloud in the face instead, which sent him flying to a wall and seemingly left him out cold, filling the air with so much silence that even a toad's croak could easily be heard.

Zera smiled and sighs with her eyes closed.

"Just as I expected, Cloud was going to make a fool out of himself. Well then the winner of the match goes to.."

"Hold up, I'm not done fighting yet!" Cloud cuts in while getting up.

While everyone was surprised at Cloud still being active, Van gave off a sadistic smirk.

"Oh? Good for you." Van grinned." This means I can get to hurt you even more!"

Cloud charges once again at Van but ends up being smacked around by Van with his fist. Cloud tries to retaliate with a punch but Van grabs hold of Cloud's wrist and twists his arm, landing a knee on the belly and hammer fisted Cloud . Cloud tries to tackle down Van but got intercepted with a knee to the belly and elbow on the back at the same time and tossed Cloud to a wall again.

Cloud still tries to get up but a lilac beam pierced his shoulder which made him to scream out in agony , turning out to be Van that shot it while pointing his finger at Cloud and giving off a sadistic smile.

"Hornet light" Van sadistically smiled.

Van began to shoot out numerous lilac beams from his fore finger at Cloud while laughing sadistically at his actions. Sting, being pissed off with Van's actions, tries to interfere but he was held on the shoulder by Chief Tenya,  which made Sting calm down, after seeing it was Chief Tenya.

"This bastard truly makes me sick" Sting said within himself. "He isn't after winning.. no,he could have easily ended this a long time ago but he just wants to inflict pain on Cloud. Though I'd admit, despite Cloud having a little advantage against Van...the odds of this match aren't in Cloud's favor".

After Van had stopped firing his beams at Cloud, Cloud began to cough and pant for air but still got up to fight.

"Oh, you still want to fight?" Van asked sadistically, "I've got another truck to try on you."

"Whatever." Cloud said, "Like i said before... I'm not done fighting yet!!!"

As Cloud charges towards Van,

he manages to avert Van's fist engulfed with lilac aura and tossed a black stinking piece of cloth at Van's nose which instantly made Van to scream while covering his nose.

"My nose! My f**king nose!!"

Leorona giggled at the sight of Cloud's actions while Sting stared at Cloud with a wtf face.

"That cloth...don't tell me.." Sting said within himself.

Sting recalls earlier as Cloud was in a forest, using a skunk's bottom to spray a piece of black clothing and wrapped it up with multiple pieces of clothes while laughing like a mad scientist as thunders were striking in the sky.

"That is a dirty move, yo" Sting said within himself, after remembering the incident.

Cloud charges with a battle cry and lands a punch Van's belly while he was still screaming concerning his nose which shocked everyone except Karma (who seemed emotionless as usual) and Sting and Tenya (who happened to give a smile at just took place ).

Zotek walks towards the exhausted Cloud with a scowling demeanor and grabs Cloud by his wrist.

"There you have it, your winner.. Cloud of the Stormwind!!!" Zotek announced as he lifted up Cloud's arm.

This brought a wild cheer among the students which made Cloud grin, while Sting and Tenya were clapping happily for Cloud.

During the cheering, Schroeder noted the look of anger and disbelief on Zera's face.

"You little sh*t!" Van said as loses his cool and violently punched Cloud, which sent him crashing on a wall and also began to savagely pummel Cloud with his fist.

"Van, that is enough!" Zera said while restraining Van and pulling him away from Cloud, "Have some dignity in your loss!"

Van manages to slip away from Zera's hold and at high speed, he advances  towards Cloud, lands a brutal punch on Cloud's belly, causing him to vomit blood mixed with contents of his stomach.

Cloud's vision became blurry but just as Cloud's blurry vision quickly wears off, he sees Van with an angry face and and glowing lilac eyes as Van instantly attacks with a face punch.

Chapter 3/ Episode 2: Mystery

8 years ago, Cloud's parents were wandering over a forest in search of a person.

"Cloouuuddd!! Cloouuuddd!!" Cloud's mother called, "Where are you ?!!, Please come out !!, Please !!"

"Where did he go to this time?" Cloud's father asked.

"I don't know." The mother replied, "I'm worried that he isn't safe. Maybe he ..."

Cloud's mother halts her speech as she faces the ground while holding her shaky left hand.

"No, he hasn't. I assure you." Cloud's father said as he gently holds her left hand while embracing her.

"How do you know that, Gorg?" Cloud's mother asked as she became more worried, "How do we know that he hasn't..."

"Marida.. !" Gorg cuts in, "Trust me on this, please. I'm as scared as you are but believe me when I say he hasn't done what we fear he might do, ok?"

"Ok, let's go look for him" Marida said with a smile.

"Yeah, let's do that." Gorg replied.

Gorg and Marida resumed their search for Cloud shortly and found Cloud sitting on the ground while staring at his reflection at a lake. Marida being relieved, quickly ran towards Cloud.

"Cloud!" Marida said as she hugged him from behind, "Thank goodness we have found you. Where have you been? We've been looking all over for you, are you hurt?."

Cloud, however, ignores her question and continues staring at the lake.

"Mother,father..why is my hair white?" Cloud asked, " Was I really born this way or am i adopted?"

Gorg and Marida being caught off guard by Cloud's question, stared at each other for a moment and resumed staring at Cloud.

"No, you are not adopted." Gorg answered, "But even if you were, it wouldn't change the fact that you are still our son and we love you and that's all that matters, right, Marida?"

"Right." Marida answered.

"I've been having a dream for the past few days now." Cloud said while still staring at his reflection, "A strange man in a cloak keeps on appearing to me, telling me" Have patience...just a little more" and..."

Tears began to slowly stream out of Cloud's eyes and drop in the lake.

"I'm scared!" Cloud said in a tearful shaky voice, "I... Everywhere i go, i feel a dark presence along with everything else watching me. I'm so scared... I'm so..."

Cloud covers his face with his hands while sobbing but his parents being touched by what they are seeing, embraced Cloud from behind.

"There is no need to be scared." Gorg said, "And do you know why? Because we'll be there for you."

"Yeah and we are not going anywhere." Marida said.

After hearing these words, Cloud began to smile while holding his parents arms and closing his eyes.

Three years later, the ten year old Cloud stares at the corpses of his mother, father and every member of the Stormwind while it was raining. However, the imagery of this scene began to glitch as the current fifteen year old Cloud finds himself alone in a wasteland and a black cloaked man appears before him.

"At last, we finally meet...Cloud of the Stormwind"

"Hold on, I know you." Cloud said, "You are that man that used to stalk me in my dreams and everywhere I went when I was seven. Who are you and what do you want from me?"

"Time is running out young one and it is time for you to bring the end of days for all to perish at your feet." The cloaked man said.

"End of days?! Life perishing at my feet?! What the hell are you even talking about?! What does that even mean?!" Cloud asked.

"Time is indeed running out." The cloaked man said, "Since the obstacles that has been stopping you from fulfilling your duties has been removed, you 'The chaos in the order' must do what has been prophesied to happen."

"You are not even making any sense, who the hell are you?!" Cloud asked

The man walks towards Cloud and touched Cloud's forehead with his index finger which caused Cloud's palms and his eyes to glow pale blue.

As Cloud's eyes and palms were glowing, the cloaked man smiled at Cloud.

"All is done..all is ready" The cloaked man said in a deep darkened tone.

Cloud suddenly wakes up from his dream breathing heavily and fearful.

"That..that dream, what was that dream now?" Cloud asked within himself, "And why can't i remember anything from it?"

Cloud looks to his right side and was surprised to see Sting sitting on a chair.

"Rise and shine, sleepy white head" Sting said with a smile.

"Sting..." Cloud said softly.

Cloud looks around at his environment and noted the unconscious bodies on the beds beside him and Sting.

"So I'm at the academy's infirmary, huh?" Cloud asked.

"Yep!" Sting replied, "Van beat you so hard that you were unconscious for a very long time with a lot of serious damages, which makes me wonder how you are even still alive."

Cloud stares at Sting's looks for a while and smiles at him

"I can see you've gone back to your original looks." Cloud said.

"Yeah, got my original looks back after the three days stipulation of me losing the bet to Zotek had passed." Sting said while smiling.

"Yeah, the moment you lost, Zotek used his Kan ability of soul shift to change your appearance for three days straight." Cloud said, "What was that bet you made with him anyway?"

"... You don't want to know." Sting replied, "But enough about me, let's talk about you. How are you even still alive? Van's vicious attack ruptured so many of your organs and broke a lot of your bones, seriously even our medical teacher found it odd."

A flashback occurs when Leorona walked out of the infirmary with a surprised expression towards Sting and the other teachers.

"So, how is he?" Sting asked.

"He is fine... Just fine." Leorona answered while staring at the ground with a confused demeanor.

"What do you mean fine?" Zotek asked while folding his arms, "Van beat him to a pulp and almost killed him. There is no way he could be fine."

"That's what is scaring me, he is supposed to be dead." Leorona said as she raised her head to look at Zotek, "Van ruptured a lot of Cloud's organs; broke and fractured a lot of his bones but yet, he was still healing without any personal assistance from me. Who...what is that white head anyway?"

After the flashback, Cloud stared at Sting with a surprised expression.

"I take it that you don't even understand what I'm talking about, right?" Sting asked.

"Yeah, i don't." Cloud answered, "Did me and Van fight again?"

"Yeah...don't you remember?" Sting asked.

"No..not at all." Cloud said, "The only thing i remember was Zera saying i could not participate because of me being unworthy and then she later offered me a chance to participate in the rumble unless i defeat a fellow student and... That's it. I don't even remember what happened yesterday"

"Yesterday?" Sting asked with a surprised demeanor, "Cloud, the rumble and tournament is in four weeks. You have been unconscious for nearly three weeks now and after these remaining two days, it will begin. Oh and Zera wanted to pull you out of the rumble again."

"She really hates me, doesn't she?" Cloud asked with a blank face.

"Yeah.. After you defeated Van but ended up getting the lights beaten out of you, Zera felt you were unable to compete in the rumble but i vouched that you would still be able to participate." Sting said.

"You went out of your way to help me again, right? Thanks." Cloud said while staring at the ground .

"You're welcome!" Sting said with his eyes closed while grinning, "After all what are friends for if it isn't to help each other out, right?"

"Right!" Cloud said as he raised his head and smiled at Sting.

Just as Cloud got up from his bed to get his shirt, Sting noted a large blue Omega mark on his back glow for a moment which made Sting look at Cloud suspiciously as Cloud walked out of the infirmary.

"Did that mark just glow?" Sting asked within himself, "Come to think of it, something has been off with Cloud for the past few weeks now. The unexplained self healing, not to mention the uneasy presence of fear I've been feeling each time i tried to watch over him in case Van, Zera or anyone else gets any funny ideas. It was almost like i could feeling the entire environment watching me. Something is definitely off."

As Cloud was walking in the main hall, all the students began to stare at him while some were murmuring among themselves concerning Cloud.

"So he has recovered." A male student said, "Looks like this guy is going to participate after all."

"Too bad you couldn't keep him down, Zera." Another male student said.

"He beat Van despite not having any Kan. Way to go, white head." A female student said.

"Yeah, way to go." A male student said.

"What's with these guys and the staring? can they cut it out? Cloud said in his mind while closing his eyes and walking as he instantly became embarrassed and creeped out, "It's getting really creepy and embarrassing. And why are they talking like i did something heroic? Dammit .. Their stare is really creeping me out!"

During this incident, Cloud walks past Karma and a blonde girl. The blonde girl, however, was still staring at Cloud, despite him leaving the hall.

"Killer bee, he has left the hall. You can stop staring now." Karma said.

"Oh, sorry." Killer bee said, "It's just that I'm surprised with how far Cloud has come, i mean everyone is. He is the lowest among all of us. He has no talent at all but he beat an A class student in a match and personally, i found it amusing. He really does have what it takes to succeed."

"No, he's a fool who is going to get himself killed with those delusions of his." Karma said, "He only beat Van because he was granted a handicap in the fight and plus, Van wasn't serious with him. if Van was serious with him then Cloud would have lost immediately the match began."

"You know, you and Cloud are quite similar to each other since the both of you are the sole survivors of your tribes." Killer bee said, "Cloud is the sole survivor of the Stormwind while you are the sole survivor of the Dreygar tribe ... The strongest tribe in Agaroth. And you both lost your tribes at a tender age during the unknown slaughter."

"He and i.. Are nothing alike." Karma said, "I'm strong and he is weak. Get that into your thick skull."

Karma walks away from Bee but stops to look back at her.

"Oh and Bee, if you are starting to have feelings for him just go ahead and tell him, who knows.. Maybe he might fall for a female warrior like you."

"W-w-wait, where is this coming from?!" Killer bee asked as she was caught off guard by Karma's statement and began to blush, "It's not like i have any special feelings for him or something. I was just amazed with how far he has gotten, that's all!"

Outside the academy, Schroeder and Leorona were sitting on the grass of a garden and staring at the academy from afar.

"So, Leorona .. Which student do you think gave us the most problem?" Schroeder asked.

"Onak. Isn't it obvious?" Leorona asked.

"Yeah, Onak: "The monster among mortals". That's what he is called among his peers" Schroeder said while smiling, "His anger is so intense that majority of his peers are afraid of him."

"You know he doesn't like that title and the funny part is that no one ever said that to his face ... Except that Karma, that is." Leorona said, "Remember when he one punched a student so hard to the ground out of anger that it completely disfigured his face?"

"Yeah. What was his name again? Cardi.. Cardo..oh, Kardolak. Rest in peace, young warrior." Schroeder said, " Poor guy never made pass level fifteen training along with many others as well. Yet we still managed to produce the best among them such as Karma."

"Yeah, truth be told i don't really like her." Leorona said, " She has shown to have great talent, progressing in training, combat, healing and many other things which gave her the S ranking candidate but her attitude sucks. She's cold, arrogant and has a nasty temper. She has severely wounded several students to the point of death and Zera and Zotek don't even try to put her in line.

She's one of the students that gave the most problems in this academy. I'm just glad that we were able to stop her and Onak from fighting and i definitely won't miss her!"

"Well despite her rank, she does lack in team work because she usually viewed her own teammates as a liability." Schroeder said, "However, there is one more person i felt gave the most problem in this academy."

"Who?" Leorona asked.

Schroeder points at Cloud and Zera arguing from afar and Zera clamped her hand over Cloud's mouth.

"Oh... Cloud." Leorona said.

The white head came five months late, usually comes late for class, lacked a lot in training and is quite impulsive when he becomes emotional." Schroeder said, "But what shocks me about the boy is that he never gives up... Even when he is at the point of death, he still pushes through."

"Cloud really is a remarkable person." Leorona said, " Yes, we've clashed with him severally because of his behavior but I've grown fond of him . Maybe Tenya is right, if one of us had taken out a bit of our time to train him then maybe he won't be as weak as we say he is. After all, you do take out a bit of your time to train Dam, right?"

"Dam is ... different." Schroeder said as his smiling face quickly changed to neutral demeanor while facing the sky, "But nevertheless, I feel that no matter how hard Cloud pushes,he won't survive the rumble or tournament ..that is if he can make it there."

Leorona holds Schroeder's hands and smiles at him.

"Schroeder, in life anything is possible. So let us see how far he goes in this"

While Cloud was walking alone in Xondu forest, he recalled images of his mother, father and the corpses of every member of his tribe which caused Cloud to hold his forehead in pain for a moment.

"The rumble and tournament will soon begin." Cloud said within himself, " I can't afford to fail."

Cloud began to train himself through running, sit ups, Superman pushups and finally practicing his punches and kicks on a trees.

"You know trees can't fight back, right?" A masculine voice asked, " They make a terrible training partner, so why don't you take on something that could actually fight."

Sting walks up out of the tree he was behind and walks towards Cloud.

"Yo." Sting said with a smile on his face.

"Sting, what are you doing here?" Cloud asked.

"As you know, we are on a free period but since it's almost over, i decided to meet you and drag your butt back to class." Sting replied, "But since you are training, maybe I should help you out a bit."

"Right!" Cloud said excitedly as he slams his fist into his palm, "Get ready!"

Cloud quickly charges towards Sting to punch him. Hours later, Cloud and Sting were both laying down on the grass and laughing.

"That was awesome!" Cloud said , "Though, I'd admit, if this was a real match, you'd have beaten me in a split second."

"Yeah, I know." Sting.

Cloud noted the worried look on Sting's face and sat up.

"Sting, is something wrong?" Cloud asked.

"Cloud, you need to be extra careful in this rumble and tournament." Sting said

"Don't worry, i will." Cloud said while grinning with his eyes closed.

"I'm serious, Cloud." Sting said, "No one is going to hold back their strength and speed for your own safety and since the pilgrim position has gotten even tighter, they would definitely give their best to win."

"Sting, can i ask you something?" Cloud asked.

"Sure." Sting said.

"When i first came here, i was really looked down on by many but you never looked down on me for once..why?" Cloud asked.

"Ah well, for starters, i don't really judge people based on their social status or reputation, cause many reputations just turns out to be rumors made up by others either to praise or downgrade." Sting said, "I judge based on personality and I've come to take a liking towards your personality. You are not perfect, heck you have a lot of flaws but you don't give up despite those flaws and you are not afraid of admitting your shortcomings... most of the times and not to mention, you've got a mouth on you that will soon get you killed... I don't know, maybe I just like that in a friend, a non perfect friend."

"Thank you, Sting." Cloud said.

"Can i ask you something, Cloud?" Sting asked.

"Hm? Sure." Cloud replied.

"Earlier... I noticed the Omega mark on your back glow for a moment... Wanna tell me what it's all about?" Sting asked.

"It glowed?" Cloud asked in shock.

"Figured you weren't aware." Sting said, "Anyway, how did you get that marking on your body... Is it a Stormwind thing?"

"No, it isn't." Cloud replied, "I had no idea how i even got them in the first place. When i was little, I usually ask my parents why the marking is on my back or why my hair is white but they never answered me for once about it."

"Now that's just sad." Sting said.

Cloud gets up and removes the clothing on his hands and showed Sting the Omega markings on his palms as well.

"My parents always told me to wear something on my hands to cover these up."

"Is there a possibility that the Stormwind themselves posses Kan in anyway?" Sting asked as he stood up to look at the Omega mark on Cloud's palms.

"Yeah, I wish." Cloud said, "If we did then we wouldn't be considered as minor tribes, would we? After all the major tribes are the ones that has Kan, so that practically makes them invincible."

"Having Kan does not make you invincible." Sting said, "Sure, Kan may nullify weapons, magic and telekinetic control. Even going as far as nullifying the weapons of the gods themselves. But still it doesn't make you invincible. You can still get hurt or killed."

"Wait, it nullified even the weapons of the gods?" Cloud asked in a surprised manner.

"Yeah, the sword of Amirath - the ruler of the gods." Sting said, " His sword was capable of tearing space and time, heavens and the earth with one effortless swing but when he focused the full power of his sword on the weakest kan warrior user, Nurlok, the blade broke . However Nurlok lost badly to the ruler of the gods in terms of trading blows and got his neck broken in the process."

"Did they really need to record that part of the fight?" Cloud asked

"Of course they had to record it." Sting said, "It's part of history. When human warriors discovered kan, they thought they were invincible but overtime they learnt they weren't. Like i said before, kan nullifies weapons, magic and telekinetic control; The stronger and more powerful any of these three are, the stronger and more powerful the nullification but that doesn't mean that there aren't other ways to get hurt or killed. Do not forget that, Cloud"

Cloud nods his head as a promise that he won't. Meanwhile, a hand from nowhere, grabs Cloud and Sting by the ear from behind.

"Congratulations for missing class and congratulations to you Sting for joining Cloud in his ways.."

Cloud and Sting quickly raised their heads and began to trembling as they saw it was Schroeder, mischievously smirking at them while emitting a blue aura.

"You are both coming with me." Schroeder said in a deepened tone.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! My ear , Schroeder, Ow!!" Cloud and Sting said as Schroeder drags the both of them by their ear, down to the academy.
