Seraphina doesn’t flinch. She sets her juice down calmly, stands, and walks toward the boys’ table. Ivy and Cyan follow like bodyguards.

The cafeteria holds its breath. Arlo freezes, suddenly realizing he may have gone too far.

She turns and walks back to her table calmly. Ivy smirks, Cyan gives Arlo a death-glare. The cafeteria bursts into whispers.

“That kid almost died!”
Riven glares at Arlo, who scratches his head nervously.
