She thought love was a gentle wound that time would heal.

And so, Day after day, he swallowed his pain... He watched her smile for another man, all while his own chest burned with the cruel irony of being her “Safe Place” yet never her love, Every embrace she gave to her crush was a knife to his own heart. Every whispered hope she shared tore him open... But he stayed, Because leaving her felt like betraying his own soul.
Until fate intervened. Circumstances, cold and merciless, tore them apart. Life forced distance between them—distance he never wanted. She walked away, still chasing the ghost of a boy who had never held her heart.
That’s when something inside him changed.
Her absence did not quiet his love—it fed it. Like fire denied air, his feelings did not die; they suffocated into obsession. The memories of her laugh, her tears, her trust—they replayed in his mind endlessly, each one a poison he craved. The separation was supposed to heal, but instead it grew into hunger, a need far deeper than love.
