Just You: My Psycho Husband

- CH: 1-

On Fashion Night, Akihito met Ave Das, an Indian model. What Akihito didn't know was that Ave was the son of a billionaire, Mr. Arnav, who was a former business partner of Akihito's own father, Mr. Akio. To expand their business empires, the two men had made a deal: an arranged marriage between their sons.

To Akihito, it was simply a business arrangement. He wasn't swayed by emotion, only by logic. Without a moment's hesitation, he agreed. With a calm and calculated mind, his eyes looked utterly dead, devoid of all emotion. He was tall, with a lean, muscular build, a handsome face, and a shock of black hair, though subtle dark circles lingered under his eyes.

In this world, it wasn't uncommon for business deals to be sealed with an arranged marriage, whether between a man and a woman or two men. For Ave, however, the news of his impending marriage was a shock. It had the potential to ruin his career, and he felt a knot of nervousness in his stomach. He was a man who had built his career on his own merit, a hardworking and sweet person who had never used his father's name.

Concerned, he spoke with his agency, which quickly agreed to the deal. However, they insisted he keep the marriage private. They feared that if the news got out, his fans might get upset and it could threaten his other lucrative modeling contracts.

With his light brown hair and warm brown eyes, Ave was a popular model, admired by women for his lean, toned body. But behind the scenes, he was just a regular guy who used his own money to donate to hospitals and orphanages. He was a kind person, and now he was caught in a business deal far beyond his control.

After the families and sons agreed to the marriage, they drafted a contract. Then they were asked if the two wanted to meet. With a calm and warm voice, Ave's mother, Miss Shivani, asked, "Ave, do you want to meet Akihito?"

Ave looked at his mother and gave her a gentle smile. "Sorry, Maa, I have a very important deal to attend to, and I can't miss it. I hope you understand."

Ave's mother was a doctor who was always busy with her hospital work, but she always made time for Ave.

Ave's popularity had helped his agency secure a lot of deals with other companies.

"Ave, can you put your hand on your face? It's going to look more sultry," the photographer instructed.

"Like this?" Ave asked, holding the pose.

"Perfect!" the photographer responded.

Ave's assistant, Puja, handed him a gift. "Happy fifth-year anniversary at the company!" Puja said with a charming smile.

Puja was also Ave's best friend. When Ave first came to the company, Puja helped him a lot and now manages all of his contracts. They had just secured a deal with the famous makeup brand Dark Rose, which was incredibly popular, especially among rich people, because of the high quality of its products.

It had been very difficult to land the contract, but Ave's name was popular enough to get the job done.

"Man, this is great news!" Puja said, placing her hands on Ave's shoulders. "You got the direct Moon contract, and you landed another film project! It's an excellent role—you're playing the second lead character." She smiled with genuine happiness.

Ave couldn't help but smile as he put his hands to his face. "Seriously? It's really my lucky day, Puja!"Puja handed Ave the script for his new role. "So I heard you have a fiancé now," she said with a playful, teasing tone. "Congrats, man." She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "I also heard... he's Japanese?"

Ave looked at her and laughed. "Yeah, he is. I have no idea what he even looks like."

"So, are you inviting me to the wedding or not?" Puja asked with a smirk.

"Of course you're invited!" Ave said, smiling. "I've already sent an invitation to our director as well."Since Ave had been working from morning until late at night, the photoshoot at the beach was finally over at midnight. Looking satisfied with the photographs, the director smiled.

"Good job, everyone. That's a wrap!" he announced. "Now, let's pack up."

They ended the night by taking a final group photo together.Ave and Puja got into the car. Instead of going all the way home, they booked a hotel room and stayed there with the rest of the crew, finally getting a chance to rest after a long day of work.

"Mr. Akihito... I... I know... my mistake... please... please give me another chance... I'll... I'll prove myself..." A man in his early twenties stammered, his voice trembling with fear and nervousness.

"There is no place for mistakes here," Akihito said, his voice calm, with only a light hint of anger.

Akihito held a golf club and methodically began to hit the man until his own face was covered in the other's blood. The man, who had leaked some of Akihito's project plans to an enemy, was breathing his last. Despite the rage that must have been coursing through him, Akihito's face remained utterly calm.

One of his bodyguards quietly handed him a white towel. Akihito wiped the blood from his face. "Clean this up," he ordered, his voice flat. "And burn this ba$tard's body."

He kicked the man in the stomach one last time before calmly walking out of the room.

Akihito sat in the car. What had just happened seemed to mean nothing to him as he calmly removed his black coat, which was soaked in blood. His assistant, Ren, handed him a project file.

"Sir," Ren said calmly, adjusting his glasses. "The Dark Rose company is becoming very popular, particularly among wealthy families and women, because of their product quality."

With a calm voice, Akihito said, "Arrange a meeting with Dark Rose company's CEO." He never looked up from the files he was reading, remaining completely focused.

"Understood, sir," Ren replied, his voice just as calm as Akihito's.

"Sir," Ren said to Akihito, "Mr. Akio has fixed the wedding date for next week, and he wants the ceremony to be a traditional one."

"Hmm, I see," Akihito responded without looking up from his file.

Early in the morning, Ave got a call from his mother, Miss Shivani.

"Ave," she said, her voice warm. "They want this wedding to be a traditional Japanese ceremony. And remember to reschedule your projects for another month, okay dear?"

"Hmm, okay, Maa," Ave replied with a long, heavy sigh. "I understand."

Ave told Puja about the wedding date.

"That's great, actually!" Puja said, trying to cheer him up. "We can do some photoshoots in Japan. The place is really beautiful."

Ave had a very tired schedule this week with the wedding just around the corner. Puja, too, had dark circles under her eyes. But as luck would have it, the film Ave had been cast in as the second lead was still looking for its main male and female leads. This meant Ave's shooting schedule was slowly clearing up.

Ave took two days off to rest and prepare for his trip to Japan with his parents. He was sound asleep in his room with a face mask on, having already packed everything he would need.

"This is a great deal, Mr. Akihito," Alex, the CEO of the Dark Rose company, said.

"Yes, Mr. Alex. It's an honor to be meeting with you," Akihito responded, his face remaining perfectly neutral.

"Mr. Alex," Ren said, handing him the deal papers. Mr. Alex smiled. "Mr. Akihito, you're incredibly fast. Now I see why your company is a top 10 listed in the market."

"Mr. Alex," Akihito replied calmly, "it looks like your company is about to join that list as well."

The meeting with Alex concluded, and Akihito received a call from his mother, Miss Hana. With her typically calm and cold voice, she simply said, "Aki, come home."

Miss Hana was the owner and a chef at a very popular traditional restaurant. She was a traditional woman herself, with a calm and cold personality. While she appeared distant to most, she had a hidden soft side for her husband and son.

When Akihito got home, he saw his mother, Miss Hana, talking to a clothing designer. Akihito quietly sat on the other side of the room, waiting.

As soon as Miss Hana finished her conversation, the designer, a man in his early 40s, turned his attention to Akihito. He looked Akihito up and down, quickly taking a visual assessment of his size. "Mr. Akihito, if you don't mind," the designer said, "could you stand up so I can take your measurements?"

Akihito stood. At about 6 feet 5 inches tall, he towered over the designer. The man quickly took his measurements and, after a respectful nod, took his leave.
