System I Think the Malelead Is the One Doing the Seducing.

Dealth by noodles 1

Shen Rui always thought that if he ever died young, it would be in some heroic, dramatic way. Maybe saving a child from a burning building, or getting caught in a scandalous affair worthy of a tragic novel.

But no.

His end was far less noble.

At 3 a.m., sprawled on his bed, he shoveled spicy instant noodles into his mouth while binge-reading his favorite gay bl manhwa called I am a big villain.

On his glowing phone screen, yet another “villain” met a terrible fate. Shen Rui scoffed, chewing noisily.

“Tch, these villains are idiots. If it were me, I’d just seduce the male lead instead of dying.”

The universe must have heard him.

Because one second later, he sucked in a noodle the wrong way. Soup burned down his throat, he choked, clawed at his chest—then darkness swallowed him whole.

---

When Shen Rui opened his eyes again, he was not in a hospital. He floated in an endless white void, cold and boundless.

A giant pink heart logo blinked before his eyes.

[Cupid.exe Initializing… Ding!]

Then came a smug, metallic voice:

> “Congratulations, Host! You are dead!”

Shen Rui blinked. “…Excuse me?”

> “No need to thank me. You’ve been selected for our premium package: Villain of Love™ Edition! From now on, you’ll transmigrate into villains doomed to tragic ends. Your mission? Rewrite their stories—by seducing the male leads!”

Shen Rui’s jaw dropped. “Seducing who?!”

> “The Alpha male leads, of course! Handsome, powerful, irresistible. You’re welcome.”

Shen Rui’s voice cracked. “Wait a damn second—why Alphas?! Why not a cute Omega girl?! I’m straight!”

The system snorted.

“Straight? Please. You’ve read gay manhwas until sunrise for three nights straight, cried over fictional men, and just before choking to death you said, and I quote: ‘If I were the villain, I’d just seduce the male lead.’ This is what we call manifesting, Host.”

Shen Rui’s face burned. “That was commentary! I didn’t mean it literally!”

“Too late. Contract sealed. Starting now, every world you enter will be set in the Omegaverse.”

Shen Rui froze. “…The what now?”

“Alphas, Betas, Omegas. Pheromones, heats, ruts, mating marks. Very spicy. Very fun. And guess what? You’re always the villain.”

Shen Rui felt his soul leave his body a second time. “Me… a villain?! Why?! I don’t want this! I don’t want to be chased around by hormone-crazed people!”

> “Oh, stop whining. You’ll enjoy it. Or die. Those are your options.”

Before Shen Rui could scream, a countdown flashed before him:

[World Transfer Initiating in 3… 2… 1…]

“Wait—at least tell me what villain I’m—”

---

His words cut off as his body slammed into a leather chair. The faint scent of ink and coffee surrounded him.

In the reflection of the office window, a sharp-eyed man stared back. Slicked-back hair, suit crisp as a blade, features cold enough to freeze hell itself.

His phone buzzed with news alerts.

“Breaking News: CEO Shen Rui Fires 3,000 Employees Overnight!”

“Corruption Scandal Explodes—The Ice Devil of the Business World!”

Shen Rui almost dropped the phone. “I’m… the Ice Devil CEO villain?!”

The system purred in his ear.

> “Correct. Original plot: you drive your company into ruin and end your life in three months. Your task? Seduce the innocent Omega office worker protagonist. Good luck, Host.”

Shen Rui slammed the desk. “Why not a female secretary?! Why an Omega man?!”

> “Because Omegaverse. Keep up.”

Just then, a knock came at the door.

“CEO Shen,” a low, magnetic voice called. “I’m your new assistant.”

The door opened.

A tall man stepped in, shoulders broad beneath his suit, scent faintly woodsy with a natural pressure His dark, steady eyes met Shen Rui’s.

assistant

Shen Rui stared.

The man standing in front of him was tall, shoulders broad, with the calm confidence of someone who could crush him with one hand and still look elegant doing it. The faint woodsy scent drifting from his body instantly made Shen Rui’s instincts bristle—crisp, undeniably an alpha

Shen Rui’s throat went dry.

No. Absolutely not.

“This has to be a mistake,” Shen Rui muttered under his breath. “There’s no way my first mission is to… to seduce a walking hormone bomb.”

“Correction,” the system chimed cheerfully in his head. “Your mission is to seduce that walking hormone bomb.”

Shen Rui’s eyes widened. “You—shut up!”

The Alpha raised an eyebrow. “Excuse me, CEO Shen?”

Shen Rui coughed violently, slamming a fist against his chest. “Ah—nothing. I was just… thinking about quarterly reports.”

Smooth. Totally smooth.

The Alpha walked closer, setting a neat folder on the desk. “I’m Gu Yan. From today, I’ll be assisting you.”

The name felt heavy, familiar he shurged it off He didn’t need confirmation from the system—this was the male lead.

“Oho~ he’s perfect, isn’t he?” the system teased. “Tall, handsome, smells delicious. Imagine him pushing you against the desk—”

“Shut up!!” Shen Rui shrieked internally.

Gu Yan tilted his head. “CEO Shen?”

“...Cough. Quarterly reports,” Shen Rui repeated stiffly, looking anywhere but at the man.

The system hummed. “Host, reminder: as an Omega villain, your fate is sealed unless you complete the mission. That means—”

“I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS!” Shen Rui hissed under his breath.

Gu Yan blinked. “Pardon?”

Shen Rui scrambled for an excuse. “I—I said… your résumé is impressive. Yes. Very… ಠ,_」ಠ

Gu Yan’s lips quirked, just barely. “Thank you?”

As the day dragged on, Shen Rui tried everything to keep his distance. He buried himself in files, barked orders, and avoided inhaling too deeply whenever Gu Yan was near. But no matter how hard he tried, the Alpha’s pheromones teased the air—subtle, not overwhelming, but enough to remind Shen Rui exactly what world he was trapped in.

Every time Gu Yan leaned over his shoulder to point at a document, Shen Rui’s ears burned. Every time their fingers brushed passing a file, his stomach twisted.

“Not happening,” Shen Rui muttered as he shoved a contract at Gu Yan.

“Sir?”

“I said this contract is… not happening. Redo it.”

Gu Yan accepted the papers calmly, eyes glinting with amusement. “As you wish."

By evening, Shen Rui collapsed in his leather chair, groaning aloud.

“System,” he muttered, “why couldn’t I transmigrate into an Alpha instead? At least then I’d have the upper hand.”

"Boring. An Alpha villain gets killed instantly. But an Omega villain? Oh, the drama. Betrayed by society, underestimated, yet irresistible. You’ll thank me later.”

“Thank you?!” Shen Rui slapped his forehead. “I’m sitting here, fighting the urge to bury myself in a corner every time that guy walks in! You expect me to seduce him?!”

“Yes.”

“I’m straight!”

Not anymore.”

Shen Rui wanted to cry.

The sound of the door opening snapped him out of his misery. Gu Yan stepped in, holding a cup of coffee. The bitter scent mixed with his natural scent curling around the office like a trap ,but the this body seemed to be warly of alpha's and it felt like he hated everything about this alpha guy.

“I thought you might need this,” Gu Yan said, placing the cup down. “You’ve been working hard all day.”

Shen Rui stared at the coffee like it was poison.

Gu Yan raised an eyebrow. “You don’t drink coffee?”

“I—I do!” Shen Rui snatched the cup. “I love coffee! Coffee Hahaha…”

Silence.

Shen Rui wished the ground would swallow him.

Gu Yan’s lips curved ever so slightly, and his eyes lingered on Shen Rui longer than necessary. “Interesting. I’ll remember that.”

His voice was low, almost intimate, and for a second Shen Rui’s chest tightened.

No. Nope. Absolutely not.

And Shen Rui was doomed.

Shen Rui had one goal when he walked into the office the next morning: avoid unnecessary Alpha contact.

He was an Omega now, against his will, and the last thing he needed was his instincts betraying him in front of that man.

Unfortunately, fate had other plans.

“Good morning, CEO Shen,” Gu Yan’s low voice greeted as soon as Shen Rui stepped through the door. The Alpha was already there, perfectly composed, suit ironed, tie sharp, like he hadn’t just been hired yesterday.

Shen Rui’s heart gave an embarrassing thump.

No. Absolutely not.

“Y-you’re early,” Shen Rui muttered, adjusting his tie.

Gu Yan’s lips curved faintly. “An assistant should always arrive before his boss.”

Oh, for f— Shen Rui cursed in his head. How was he supposed to seduce this guy if he couldn’t even look him in the eyes without going red? Not that he wanted to seduce him, of course. He was just here to… to…

Survive. That’s it. Nothing else.

The morning went by in tense silence, broken only by the sound of papers shuffling and pens scratching. Shen Rui kept his distance, but Gu Yan always seemed to close the gap—passing files too close, leaning just slightly over his shoulder, scent trailing like invisible chains.

Shen Rui held his breath every time. He could handle this. He was strong. He was—

The smell hit him.

Woodsy, deep.pheromones. overwhelming deliberate, like a knock on a locked door. His instincts immediately stirred, heat curling in his stomach before he slammed the feeling down.

Oh no.

Oh hell no.

Shen Rui shot up from his chair, knocking it back with a crash. “D-do you mind?!”

Gu Yan blinked, expression unreadable. “Mind what?”

“You—you’re leaking!” Shen Rui hissed, pointing at him accusingly.

Gu Yan tilted his head slightly. “Pheromones? That was barely a trace.”

“Barely a—?!” Shen Rui’s voice broke. “You’re basically suffocating me!”

The Alpha’s lips quirked. “Interesting. So sensitive, CEO Shen. Are you sure you’re not… overreacting?”

Shen Rui nearly combusted on the spot. His ears burned, his palms itched, and his body screamed at him to either flee or— No. He refused to finish that thought.

“System!” Shen Rui hissed inwardly. “I can’t do this! My instincts are trying to kill me! Or worse—!”

> “Relax, Host. This is just your body responding normally. Totally natural. Totally hot.”

“HOT?!” Shen Rui’s eyes nearly bulged out. “This is harassment! Where’s HR?!”

“You’re the CEO. You’re HR.”

Shen Rui wanted to die a second death.

“CEO Shen,” Gu Yan said calmly, stepping closer, “you look pale. Sit down before you faint.”

“I’m fine!” Shen Rui snapped, stumbling back. His calves hit the desk and he toppled into the chair, glaring up at the Alpha.

Gu Yan leaned down just slightly, enough to invade his space, voice low. “I was only testing your tolerance. Now I know.”

Shen Rui’s pulse roared in his ears. “T-tolerance?!”

The Alpha’s eyes glinted like obsidian. “You don’t handle Alphas well… do you?”

Shen Rui’s brain short-circuited.

That night, sprawled on his luxurious bed, Shen Rui buried his face in a pillow and screamed.

“System! I hate you!”

> “Correction: you love me. Also, congratulations on your first pheromone clash! The male lead is clearly interested. Step one of seduction complete.”

“Seduction?!” Shen Rui shrieked. “He basically suffocated me with his scent! How is that romantic?!”

> “Welcome to Omegaverse, Host. Pheromone tension is romance.”

Shen Rui groaned, rolling over dramatically. “I can’t do this. I won’t do this. I’m straight. I’m normal. I—”

His phone buzzed. A message from an unknown number lit up the screen.

[Gu Yan: Rest well tonight. You’ll need your strength tomorrow.]

Shen Rui froze.

His body went hot all over, and he cursed loudly, burying himself under the blankets.
