An exclusive members-only jazz lounge in a city where alphas, betas, and omegas mingle outside the usual hierarchy — but status games still simmer beneath the surface.
The night was alive with soft saxophone notes and the low murmur of conversation.
From the balcony above the bar, Adrian leaned against the railing, his sharp gaze scanning the crowd.
His eyes caught on the new bartender — Finn — awkwardly fumbling with a bottle opener.
Adrian descended the stairs like a slow, deliberate rhythm.
Adrian (DO)
You’re holding it wrong *sliding in behind Finn at the counter*
Finn (B)
*Startled, almost dropping the corkscrew* I— I’ve only opened beer bottles before.

*Adrian’s hands covered his, guiding the motion* Slow. Firm. Controlled.

From his post at the door, Jace raised an eyebrow. Milo, at the piano, caught the glance and just smirked, letting the music flow.
Later that night, a rowdy alpha customer leaned too far over the bar toward Finn.
Adrian appeared instantly, stepping between them. His smile was polite — but his voice was steel.

He’s not on the menu. Sit down.
The alpha muttered something under his breath but backed off under Adrian’s stare.

After closing, Finn was cleaning glasses when Adrian cornered him by the back counter.

Adrian’s fingers brushed the inside of Finn’s wrist, slow and deliberate.
