when I look up from my phone ,I felt it - like a sudden weight pressing against my chest.

They weren't casual and weren't curious . they latched on to me, heavy and unblinking as though I had just stepped into a trap without relising it

Later as tae and jimin rush down the steps outside, tae phone buzzes. An unknown number. A message pops up: "DON'T BE AFRAID. I WILL WALK YOU HOME"
