Hello Everyone!

I would just like to say that I'm not very experienced in writing and I may make many mistakes throughout this book.

This story is originally mine. Thou shall not copy paste and republish to other apps similar to this in short please do not steal it.

I apologize beforehand for any grammatical errors please be considerate for i am not a top-notch writer which may cause you to be uneasy, this was only written because of how boring quarantine is and i hope that you may like it.

This is also my first time writing this kind of story so any flaws that lead you the urge to ask then feel free I don't mind it and I will gladly reply to it.

Last, I want you to be aware that every character's name or places etc. in the story are all fiction. Some scenes may be false or doesn't make sense.

My book was inspired by the Chinese novel or manga which I has read in my past time. it was very interesting and then I came to the conclusion why don't I start writing writing my own books to entertain people who were also just like me.

The book is all about Traveling, System, Adventure etc. As you read further you may come across gore and mature contents or scenes. It natural for you to feel uneasy or may have goosebumps. Please react and comment to the chapter or episode if you want some edit or to make it more exciting.

I appreciate it if you give me ideas to make my novel better than ever 🤣.

The/ Our MC will not always experience romance so be prepared. The MC might not end up with anyone but someone may end up with another character. Either one of the MC friends, family, relative, enemy, rival etc. name it you want.

There will be other minor characters which won't contribute in the story and won't do much in the plot other than praising and admiring our dear MC.

This was made mainly for entertainment purposes as long you enjoy it I appreciate it. Culture related will be presented on this so if someone or anyone will be able to recognized where it came from/ which country it was related then don't bash me if I made mistakes.

Different cultures or tales from different places will be inserted in here. I may disappoint you if some of my chapters aren't that interesting. Some will be based on movies so some plots will be familiar to you.

If you have more recommendations please I really need it to help me progress the novel I'm writing I really need the audience or readers opinion's. Private message me or comment if something is lacking in the novel.

A banquet will be held at the Lingshuang State, 28 years- old Violet Lin was invited over. She was a well known beautiful, stylish and talented singer.

"Hello?" Holding the wheel one hand.

"Where are you?"

" On my way there." She casually stated.

" Make it fast most of the guest are here and you know that you will have to sing." The other side nervously reminded her.

" I'll make it the..."

A trunk was coming at her way

BANG!

"Ms. Lin are you there?" Panicked by the sudden commotion on the other side.

"....."

"Ms. Lin?"

"....."

Violet's eyes were closing slowly as they became heavy until she lost consciousness..

" Alarming all system a new host arrived!"

They gather and listen to there super intended

" A girl who experienced a car crash, 28 years old, anyone who wants to be her guide?" It was watching the system having discussion.

" You heard that? Grab the opportunity to have your rank leveled up."

" She's still young."

" Can she passed the test?"

" Maybe she came from a spoil family, I've gone through some of them."

" I want to her!" Anong the crowd of systems a voice called out catching their attention.

"Huh!? You!"

"HAHAHA"

" Most of the ones you host didn't succeed, picking her would be very inconvenient."

" Instead of you i should be the one doing it."

"ENOUGH ! It's decided you will be her guide."

" Huh? I am not yet dead? Where am I ?"

Ting~Sytem Connecting~Sytem Activated

"What is this?" She was in a space more likely in a system.

" Welcome to the new host." A white floating figure appeared before her.

"Who are you? What's this place?"

"I am going to be you're guardian through out your journey also I am the one who is guarding this system where your soul has been place by the higher ups. You just went into a car crash which your soul drifted here and you're under the system protection. It will give you a chance to revive and as of now your body is in a coma."

After that a screen appear before her showing her body inside an hospital and as the system said she was in a vegetative state.

" I can go back." Hope was written all over her face.

"Yes host but after you have accomplish all given mission."

" Missions? Tell me about it."

" You'll be sent on different dimensions to accomplish given missions, there are different levels of the missions. Main Missions will be given by the original owner of the body you will possess in the future."

"What if I fail?"

" You'll die for real and your soul will dissapated after that no one will remember you."

Hearing that memories after memories of hers flashed through her mind, unwilling to give up just like that

"Okay I'm in." Overwhelm by her response the system work on for her plot

She began to move out in the system and suddenly interjected to a persons body

" Huh! here we are." As she tries to move and open her eyes to see where she in the body resist it.

" System ?" Confused of the situation

" Host call me Wave." Her head begun to ache by the given information after that she once went through the memories.

Apparently it was in the modern dimension. The story goes on with a case that hasn't been sorted out, every month a person will be found be found dead and due to laughing (Gelastic Seizure). The male lead which is a detective did all his best to look/search for leads until they found one of the victims who unexpectedly survive and ask her for help. Once they made a plan, they secretly went through the base of the suspect and search for him but when they went there their a bit late causing the male lead to follow him when he caught up they started a fight which cause him to see the face of the man their looking, the suspect who saw the male lead distracted use the chance to grab the gun and shoot him in the thigh, belly, chest and the head that sent him dead. Without the detective the suspect runaway and the murder continued.

"What will be my ro..." Not having the chance to finish her question images after images bomb her head

She was in the body of Anne Hathway, a normal trainee detective constable and close to become a legal one after working hard for two years. She has was determined to become a detective because she wanted to give justice to people who deserve it. Unfortunately, she was accidentally poisoned by eating a poisoned food.

"Wave what part of the plot am I now?"

" If I am not wrong you are at the hospital." Speaking of it, a nurse came in the room to check for her.

" Host please open your eyes now."

As she opened her eyes it was strike by the sunlight so she's having a hard time adjusting.

"Doctor !" The nurse went out of the room

When she came out of the hospital and went back to work the chefs apologized because the food she ate was made by them.

" It's ok but next time please be careful."

She doesn't really mind because she's not the one who suffers.

"Wave, how will I continue with the mission if I don't know how to do investing?"

"Don't worry host all other information that belong to Anne is already passed to you."

A screen appeared before her stating all the missions that the owner of the body wanted her to accomplish.

" Host I forgot to tell you that your in a hard level." Apologetically explaining to Anne

" Good morning Sir." She greeted him

" Good morning to you too. How are you?"

"Thanks for the concern I'm fine."

" Good morning Mr. Tang." A male greeted

"Host it's the male lead." The system inform her

" Didn't expect that he's good looking and just by looking at him you can tell that he's well educated."

"Ahheem." Noticing someone was staring at him so he decided to look who is it.

"Ah, this is Jack Quinn the well known detective that's good in speculating meet our rookie Anne Hathway. Starting today you'll be his apprentice may you learn many things through him."

Anne bow to him which in return he slightly nod.

"Sir." A fellow detective run to them.

"Aya, didn't your elders teach you? You excuse first it's disrespectful to interept others when they're talking." Mr. Tang reminding him.

" Excuse me Sir. We received a report, there's a murder on Yakal Road and it requires police support." Explaining the situation to them.

" Have the police secure the place." He commanded before he turn to them and said " Let's go."

The two nodded their heads then follow him

"Wave, you better help me." Reminding him.

"I'll try my best host." Smiling

The trio arrived at the scene which were apartments and houses were close to each other and on the narrow path they saw a girl  hanging with her feet and hands are tied together on her back but what caught their attention was a roman numeral number sixteen (xvI) crafted on her face.

They immediately cut the rope and put the body down slowly.

"Shoot, this killer didn't exempt this young lady's face." She felt goosebumps while talking to Wave

" Host, this is my first time to witness something like this you know my past host haven--"

"What are standing there for come here." She was interrupted in listening to what Wave was saying.

" I guess we need to help our Male Lead." She sigh then walk towards him.

"What have you found?" He ask the coroner Val Tien Chen as he crouch to the ground to have a better look because she also wanted to know what happened she also crouch and it doesn't matter because the fashion style of the recent Anne was boyish so she didn't care.

"There are symptoms of coronal bleeding, the death is due to suffocation but no fatal trauma. By the joint reaction between the larynx and the neck, I could confirm she died because of laughing and it led to hypoxia." After explaining they stand up.

"She's already the second to be found this year. The first was found outside their house." Mr. Tang explain to them.

"Please help us." He bow towards him and Jack held him from continuing further.

"I will try my best but I can't promise that I will be able to catch the killer."

Jack approach the body and started inspecting it he notice the knot tie that was still untie on the victims hands.

"If I'm not wrong this should be the murderer's sign letting as know that he's the one who killed and it has also been seen in former victims."

"Sir, it's going to be more victims?"

"More victims?"Alerting Mr. Tang and a glint flash through his pair of eyes as he fall in a trance remembering something then he gritted his teeth.

The person responsible for taking pictures take pictures after clearing the area they pack everything and left for they knew that they can't find any clue there.

Back in the department Jack sit on Anne's desk with deep thoughts not wanting to disturb him she only stand by his side.

"Hey Wave never thought that this Male Lead is serious in his job."

" Of course host he's the male lead after all. See see he's handsome!" Squealing inside her.

"Huh! Are you gay?! Pfffttt!" She didn't expect such kind of reaction from him.

"Rookie, go and bring me the past records about the crime of that The Man." He distracted them in their conversation she wanted to say more but she bow and comply.
