Third person POV

It was the morning of August 8th when an alarm went of in Remi's room. It was what you would call a burning day with a temperature of 100 degrees outside, and it felt like 110. As the heat from the sun fell on Remi's blanket, she immediately woke up as she hated the heat falling on her.

She went to the bathroom to take a cold shower as she had to survive this heat stroke of a day outside on the track where all her dreams would finally come true.

Remi's P.O.V

'Ugh... Finally I can feel at a normal temperature... Out of all the days in the whole entire freaking year, why did today have to be the day my dreams came true... I'd rather race in the snow.' I thought

'I hope I can actually work with the people there, and none of them ignite my anger as the last people I worked with did... They threw insults at me since I was poor, and wanted to fullfil my dream. Their just stuck up and rich brats, whose parents wanted to send them away.' I kept my thoughts streaming.

"I came here with my own hard-earned money, and skills." I stated proudly

Back to third person POV

Remi finally got out of the shower with her hair all wet (just the way she liked it). She then picked out a pair of athletic shorts, and a simple track shirt. Which she then put on and headed down to her sloppy kitchen.

Everything was in clutters and a utter mess. There were countless dishes in the kitchen main sink. There were a ton of pots on the stove. Also there are stains all over the place: the stove, the marble countertop, etc. These examples were just to name a few.

It wasn't that Remi wasn't good at cleaning up, or knew how to clean up. She was a lazy person and never bothered to clean up after cooked. She had to do it sometimes, but right now wasn't the best time.

Remi just decided to eat a granola bar packet that her friend gave her the other day, and drink a nice cup of coffee from her favorite cafe. Also it was pretty cheap so Remi could save money.

Remi got her baseball hat out and tied her hair into a quick ponytail, as she was about to head out. She had no idea how this day would have an impact on her for the rest of her life.

Third person POV

Remi was out of her apartment door, and heading down the stairs as the elevator was out of order. As she descended to the bottom floor, she quickly headed to the garage and went to look for her vehicle.

Her eyes were laid on an Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 sports motorcycle with a shiny black exterior and multiple patterns of red on it. It also had a place where she could put her training gear and essential items for the day.

Remi carefully placed her training gear in her motorcycle and started to get on the motorcycle. She then put on her black motor cycle helmet and started the motor cycle.

Remi was riding her motorcycle on a scorching hot day with the wing hitting her face and hair. She had been so happy the whole time, so she decided to increase the speed.

She had this whole concept of thrill, and the kick you get when you go fast. That was one of the reasons she wanted to become a professional racer.

Remi increased the speed of her motorcycle and stood up. It was like there was no one else in the world to judge, and you can just pour out all your emotions. Remi's sweat from the heat started trickling down her head, and made her look like she was meant to be a star.

After riding the motorcycle for a while, Remi came across a small blue shop, with a lot of cat decorations as today was international cat day. Remi smiled lovingly at the cafe as she remembered that they would put different decorations for different holidays.

Remi's P.O.V

I walked in the coffee shop as I usually did every morning to drink some coffee to energize for the day. I go near the cashier, and select a drink that I'd want for today. The nice thing about the coffee here is that it is cheap and good quality, seriously the taste never disappoints you. Today since it was a hot day outside I will order some sort of a cold coffee.

"I will have an Iced Americano." I said to the cashier as I was looking at the menu.

He smiled at me and said, "That'll be 3 dollars, mam."

"Okay" I said back to him, and paid the bill.

The cashier went to tell the order, and came back with a medium sized Iced Americano. I thanked him and took my cup of coffee in hands to go find a place to go sit. I couldn't wait to sit as I was drooling on the delicacy in my hands.

I went to find my seat as some random stranger bumped into me and spilled my coffee on my shirt (also spilled his coffee on his shirt).

"You weren't looking and you spilt my coffee on me, how dare you." Said the man

"No you bumped into me and spilled my coffee on me, how dare you." I retorted back.

We just kept on bickering back and forth like little kids when they'd want the same toy until I went up to him and faced him. I quickly but steadily punched him on the side of the ribs. I've always loved doing this to people who put up against me.

"Owww" he let out a shrill

"Karma's a Bad thing, and it will get you next time." Said the man as he was wincing in pain.

Remi's POV

I went to my motorcycle pissed at this stranger. Stupid guy had ruined my day so far, today was supposed to be the day of my brand new training for my dream job.

I started my motorcycle and headed to the race track where I could race a car sponsored by the company, and be in the moment.

I reached the race track, and got of my motorcycle. I quickly took of my helmet and ran to the track field. I went on to the fresh grass, and felt the warm wind blow against my hair. It was like a wave of relief had washed over me when the wind goes through my hair.

I realize that I forgot my track and racing gear in my motorcycle and I go to get it. After I get it, I go to the ladies changing room and I change my racing suit.

Andrew's POV

'That stupid girl in the coffee shop actually has a lot of strength. Now I will not be able to do the training. This girl has got a lot of nerve. I hope that she doesn't have a good life partner.' I curse inside my head

I quickly exit the coffee shop and get in my car. I drive my car and try to make it to the track as soon as possible.

I quickly end up going to the men's locker room, to change up into my racing training gear. Then, I look at my watch to see if I'm on time, which thankfully I was. I walk outside to the scorching hot track as the wind from earlier wasn't there anymore.

It was a hot summer afternoon, it would be thankful if there was wind but It had to die down. Soon all the training people joined and gathered around an instructor.

There was about 19 people around the instructor. The instructor introduced himself, a 40 year old retired from racing and just choose to teach. He then gave us boring instructions about the race track and whole sport thing.

He then starts partnering us up so we could work on practicing the basics of car racing. He starts calling names , until I hear my name last.

"Remi Dawson and Andrew West are partnered up." Said the instructor in a monotone.

I look at the girl I was partnered up with. She had a blue eyes and she looked like a tomboy.

'She seems familiar.... It might just be my wishful thinking... Wait!! She's the girl from the coffee shop.'

I thought

"You" I said loudly

Remi's POV

I looked up at my partner after he screamed you.

'Why the hell did he screamed.' I thought as I looked up at him.

I then realized that he was the same guy that I saw at the coffee shop.

"You" I said just as loudly.

"Can you guys fight somewhere else, I'm in the middle of the class." The instructor said to the both of us.
