The room was silent and dark, the air thick with smoke.
A boy was hung in the air, trapped by black tentacles that twisted around his body, tightening with every breath.
Outside, rain crashed against the windows, like a storm trying to break in.
His strength was fading. Darkness was pulling him under when the door creaked open.
A figure stepped inside—tall, still, with eyes glowing like fire in the shadows. One look from him, and the tentacles loosened, sliding away like they were afraid.
The boy expected to fall on the cold floor. But strong arms caught him instead—warm, firm, almost… possessive.
Before he could see the stranger’s face, his world went black.
When he woke, he was alone. But the feeling of those arms… it lingered, like a secret he wasn’t ready to face.
