chapter 1
Taehyung and Jungkook had been inseparable since they were little kids. From playing in the park to walking home from school together, everyone around them knew they were more like family than friends.
One evening, after finishing practice, they sat by the riverside, watching the sun dip below the horizon.

Smiling softly “Do you remember how we used to race here after school? You always cheated, Jungkook.”
Jungkook
Laughs “I didn’t cheat. You were just slow.”
Taehyung
“Yah, don’t act so smug. I could still beat you if I tried.”
Jungkook looked at him, his laughter slowly fading. Over the years, the way he felt about Taehyung had changed. The boy he once called his best friend had become someone he couldn’t stop thinking about—someone who made his heart race in ways he couldn’t explain.
As night came, Jungkook lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He didn’t know what Taehyung was thinking about him—it had left Jungkook restless. Eventually, exhaustion pulled him into sleep.

Jungkook saw Taehyung was standing casually by the window but what caught Jungkook completely off guard was the shirt he was wearing.
Jungkook
Blinking in disbelief “T-Tae…what are..you doing here.??.. isn't that… my shirt?”
He rubbed his eyes, half-convinced he was still dreaming. The last thing he remembered was lying down in bed . But now—Taehyung was here, in his shirt, like he owned the place
Jungkook
Hesitant “T-Tae… how are you even here? I… I don’t remember letting you in.”
Taehyung
Softly chuckles “Does it matter? I’m here now.”
Jungkook couldn't understand what was happening.He felt unreal
There, just a few steps away, stood Taehyung, looking ethereal, almost unreal.
Taehyung took slow steps towards jungkook with a teasing smile.Jungkook's breath hitched when he saw that Taehyung was bare bottom.

Jungkook's heart raced, a mix of confusion and something else bubbling up inside him. He blinked hard, trying to make sense of the surreal scene before him.

Stammering, “T-Tae, are you serious? Why are you… like that?”
Taehyung
Smirked, a playful glint in his eyes. “I thought you liked my style,” he teased, his tone light, but Jungkook could sense an underlying tension.
Jungkook
Flustered, “This isn’t funny! You can’t just barge in here like this!”
Taehyung took another step closer, his expression shifting from playful to sincere.
Taehyung
Why not? I wanted to talk. We’ve been dancing around this for too long.”
Jungkook’s stomach twisted. He had been waiting for this moment, the moment where they would finally confront the feelings that had simmered beneath the surface for so long. But now that it was happening, he felt lost.
Jungkook
Cautiously, “Talk? About what?”
Taehyung
Took a deep breath, his gaze steady. “About us. About what we mean to each other.”
Taehyung looked unfazed, a smirk creeping back onto his face.
Taehyung
“Let’s make it quick.”
Jungkook felt a rush of warmth and embarrassment flood through him.
Jungkook
“Quick? You think this is something we can just rush?!”
