I know some of you might feel a little confused right now since I’ve started working on my second chat story. Honestly, I’m also a bit confused myself—just like when I was writing my very first story, I sometimes struggle with ideas. But don’t worry! I promise I’ll continue creating and updating the first story as well. Both stories are really important to me, and I’m excited to share them with you all.

Soobin Ardyn – The Mortal Sailor
Age: 23
Appearance: Tousled dark brown hair, storm-gray eyes, lean but strong build, a faint scar across his cheek.
Personality: Stubborn, protective, reckless, but deeply loyal. Believes in his heart more than fate.
Yeonjun - The Oracle of the Sea
Age: Timeless, though appears 20 in human form.
Appearance: has beautiful hair that flows like water, luminous blue-green eyes, aura of tides around him.
Personality: Gentle, melancholic, burdened by visions, but grows strong through love.
Erynn Kaelthorne – The Wanderer
Age: 22
Appearance: Auburn hair tied messily, amber eyes, scarred but handsome face, leather armor with a worn cloak.
Personality: Sarcastic, loyal, pragmatic. Complains often, but always stands with his friends.
Elunara – The Moon Priestess
Age: Appears mid-20s, though ageless.
Appearance: White hair that glows faintly in moonlight, pale skin, violet eyes, robes stitched with silver threads.
Personality: Wise, calm, yet sorrowful—knows more than she reveals.
Thyros – Lord of the Abyss
Age: Ancient, godlike.
Appearance: Towering figure with skin like storm clouds, eyes burning blue, hair of black water, trident of coral and bone.
Personality: Cruel, commanding, hungers for power and control. Believes love is weakness.
A desolate shore at night. The sky is clouded, the sea restless. Soobin, a young sailor, staggers from the wreckage of his ship. He collapses on the sand, clutching a strange seashell that glows faintly in the moonlight.
Soobin
(breathing hard) 💨
Damn it… the sea tried to kill me again.

(looks at the shell in his palm) 🐚
And yet… it leaves me this? A pretty trinket to mock me?
He lifts the shell to his ear. At first, only the sound of waves. Then, a voice drifts out—gentle, echoing like water.
Oracle shell
…Who disturbs the silence of the deep?
Soobin
(startled, dropping the shell)
What—?! A voice? (‘◉⌓◉’)
(picks it up again, cautious)
Who’s there?
Oracle shell
Mortal breath upon my shell… how curious. You should not hear me.
Soobin
(half-laughing in disbelief) ಥ‿ಥ
Great. I’ve gone mad. Survived drowning only to start hearing seashells talk.
Oracle shell
Not madness. Fate. The sea has chosen you.
Soobin
Fate?....No, the sea only ever tries to drown me.
Oracle shell
Then why do you still live?
Soobin
(pauses, glances at the glowing shell)
…Because of you?
Oracle shell
Perhaps... Or perhaps because your story has only just begun.
Soobin
(grinning faintly)
So, tell me, mysterious voice. ...Who are you?

I am Yeonjun, Oracle of the Sea. I whisper the truths that tides conceal, I see what mortals cannot.
Soobin
An oracle, huh?.. So you’re one of those all-knowing, untouchable, divine types.
Oracle shell

Untouchable, yes. All-knowing… not quite.
Soobin
Well, all I know is you sound less like an oracle and more like… temptation.🤭

Soobin
Should I? You don’t sound frightening. Just… lonely.
Oracle shell
Loneliness is the curse of oracles. We see the world but never touch it.
Soobin
Then maybe the sea made a mistake giving me this shell. Because if I can hear you, Oracle, I’ll never let you stay lonely.
Oracle shell
Bold words. Reckless sailor… what is your name?
Soobin
Soobin ....And you? Yeonjun, was it? …Oracle of the Sea. Beautiful name for a beautiful voice.
Oracle shell
You are too daring. Mortals who flirt with the sea often drown.
Soobin
Then I’ll drown gladly—if it means drowning in your voice.😌
Oracle shell
You should not speak so. The ocean forbids me to love a mortal.
Soobin
Then maybe it’s a good thing I’ve never listened to rules.😏
The waves crash louder, glowing silver as if responding to their words. Soobin holds the shell closer, eyes burning with stubborn fire.
Soobin
Oracle, if fate carried your voice to me, then fate clearly wants us to meet.
Oracle shell
The ocean repeats your name to me… Soobin. Over and over, like a tide I cannot resist.
Soobin
Then don’t resist. Let the sea carry me to you.
Oracle shell
(voice breaking, torn between duty and longing)
You are dangerous. Not because you defy destiny… but because you make me wish to defy it too.
Soobin
Then let’s defy it together.

The Whisper of Yeonjun, Oracle of the Sea
Night falls again. Soobin lies on the shore with the glowing shell pressed to his chest. The sea is calm, but strange visions begin to drift into his mind—he dreams of silver eyes and flowing water. Suddenly, Yeonjun's voice returns.
Oracle shell
(soft, echoing)
Mortal… Soobin. You still hold my shell.
Soobin
(half-asleep, smiling faintly)
How could I let go of the only thing keeping me sane on this cursed shore?
Oracle shell
Or perhaps the thing making you madder.
Soobin
(chuckles)
If hearing your voice is madness, then I hope I never heal.
Oracle shell
You dream of me. I can feel it.
Soobin
(eyes widening)😳
You… can feel my dreams?
Oracle shell
The shell is not merely a vessel for sound. It ties our spirits across the waves. Whatever your heart whispers, the sea carries to me.
Soobin
(sits up, startled)
Then you know…?
Oracle shell
That you think of me as more than an oracle. That your desire burns brighter than your fear. Yes… I hear it.
Soobin
And what about you, Oracle? Do you only hear my heart—or does yours answer?
Oracle shell
…You push me toward ruin. The ocean forbids me to feel what I feel now.
Soobin
(firm, stepping to the edge of the waves)
Then defy it. If the sea wants me to stop, it should have let me drown.
Oracle shell
You reckless man…‼️ you twist the ocean itself with your words.
The sea begins to glow. Shapes form in the waves—a silhouette, tall and radiant, eyes like molten silver. Yeonjun manifests for the first time, water trailing like a robe. Soobin stares, breath stolen.
Yeonjun
(avoiding his gaze)
You should not see me. Mortals are not meant to look upon an oracle’s true form.
Soobin
Then why are you here?
Yeonjun
(hesitant, whispering)
Because… I wanted you to see me.
Soobin
You’re even more beautiful than your voice. 💓
Yeonjun
Do not touch me. If you do… the bond will be sealed.
Soobin
Then maybe I should.
Yeonjun
(voice trembling, torn)
Soobin… if you touch me, the sea itself will bind our fates. There will be no turning back.
Soobin
(eyes steady)
Then let it.
Soobin lifts his hand. For a moment, Yeonjun almost lets him. But suddenly, the waves crash violently, pulling Yeonjun back into the sea. The glowing shell dims, leaving Soobin standing alone on the shore, hand still outstretched.
Soobin
You can’t run from me, Oracle. Not anymore.
The sea whispers his name one last time before fading to silence. The forbidden bond has begun, but forces greater than either of them move to stop it.
The Whisper of Yeonjun, Oracle of the Sea
A cave by the sea. Soobin has built a small fire from driftwood. He stares at the glowing shell, frustrated but determined. The waves outside roar like a warning. Then, slowly, Yeonjun’s voice returns.
Soobin
(bitter laugh)
So, the great Oracle runs from me. Afraid of a mortal’s touch?
Yeonjun
Not fear… protection.
Soobin
(gritting teeth)ಠ_ಠ
Protection? You say the ocean brought me to you. That it whispers my name to you. And yet, you keep pushing me away. Why?
Yeonjun
(long silence, then sighs)😔
Because every oracle is bound by the Curse of Tides.
Yeonjun
Yes. We are born of the sea, gifted the power to hear its eternal song. But in return, we are forbidden to love a mortal. Should we give our hearts, the sea will take theirs. The one we love will be drowned, consumed, erased.
Soobin
(shaken, whispering)
So that’s why you pulled away.
Yeonjun
I will not be the reason you vanish beneath the waves.
Soobin
(laughs bitterly)
You think I fear drowning after I’ve already survived it? Oracle, I’m not afraid of your curse.
Yeonjun
You should be. Mortals cannot fight the ocean’s will.
The waves outside grow louder, angry. A storm begins to brew. Yeonjun's voice wavers as though the sea itself punishes him for even speaking of love.
Yeonjun
The ocean… it rages. It knows what I feel. 😰
Soobin
Yeonjun—what’s happening?!
Yeonjun
(struggling to speak)
Soobin, listen. If I linger in your presence, the curse will awaken fully. The sea will send its children to drag you under.😰
Soobin
Let them try. I’ll fight every damn tide, every monster, every god, if it means staying... with you.
Yeonjun
You reckless man…‼️ why do you make me long for what I cannot have?
Soobin
(steps toward the shore, shouting into the waves)
Because maybe you can have it. Maybe the curse isn’t unbreakable.
Yeonjun
If you try… the sea will hate you. It will hunt you.😨
Soobin
Then let the sea hate me. As long as you don’t.
Suddenly, a massive shadow rises in the storming waters—glowing eyes, scales glinting in lightning. A sea-beast, sent by the ocean, emerges.
Soobin
(draws a broken piece of driftwood like a weapon)
Guess I get to prove it.
Yeonjun
(desperate cry)
Soobin—no!
The beast roars, waves crashing. Yeonjun's silver form flickers in the storm as Soobin faces the monster, defying the ocean itself.
