Chapter 1 – The Night of Secrets

[staring at her reflection] “I can’t believe tonight… it feels like everything will change.”

“You’re overthinking, Selivra. One night doesn’t decide your life.” [smirks]

[entering the ballroom, spotting Selivra] “There she is… more beautiful than I imagined.”

[leaning against the balcony railing] “Competition? Hah… I’ll see her first, Caelith. She’s mine tonight.”

[standing near Selivra] “I’ll make sure no one bothers her.”

[joking] “You two make it look easy. Wish I had someone to dance with.”

[offering hand to Ariveth] “Then let’s fix that, shall we?”
[Scene: The crowd murmurs as Selivra and Caelith dance. Their chemistry is undeniable.]

[smirking] “Good morning, cousin. Enjoying the afterglow of the ball?”

“Zyrella… what do you want?”

“Just a friendly warning: everyone has secrets… even you.”

[tense] “I’m not afraid of you.”
