The sun would hit my eyes...i'd sit up and look out my window, wondering what this day will bring. Someone would open my door and id turn to see who was there, it was my brother, Kevin. "Get up you lazy pig!" said Kevin while picking up a pillow and throwing it in my face. "Hey! i just woke up ok! Butt head!" Id say with a smile on my face. "It's time for breakfast, So come on." says Kevin. "I'll be done in a second!" Id say. Kevin would exit my room shutting the door behind him. Id hop out of bed to get dressed, opening my closet i find my favorite pink sparkly outfit with my favorite shoes! Id quickly put it on and grab my favorite necklace that has my name on it in gold letters  "Valerie". Id rush down the stairs and hallways of my huge house to the kitchen where i found my family sitting at the table eating there breakfast. "Good morning dear!" my dad would say. id take a seat next to my mother and notice she looks pale. "Mom are u ok?" but as soon as i said that my mother body hit the ground with a thump. My father jumped out of his chair and screamed at me "Go get the nurse!". Id run as fast as i could to the place where the staff stays. "My mother has fallen! Come quick! Come quick!" We all rushed to the dining room and id stand there in shock. My brother would hug me tight and assure me that it was ok but i could not hear him. I thought to myself did she take anything?has this happen before?is she sick?. Id stand there and cry, cry with fear but i was also angry at myself for not noticing earlier. It's been hours later and my father is still not out of the room where they are keeping my mother. I pace around worried about what is happening in there is she dead?is she sick?. My brother would just stand there he'd look not worried at all like it was just a normal day. "Kevin why do u look so chill! Like everything's ok! Cause its not!" Id scream at him. He'd look at me and say "I don't want to waste my tears yet." Just when i was about to scream some more the door would open and my father would step out looking as pale as snow. "So! Is she ok?!" Id say in nervousness. Hed step out of the way of the door way and hed point us to walk in. Me an my brother would walk in and see my mother laying there pale and lifelessness. "Your mother..has cancer..and she is pregnant.." The doctor would say while looking at my mother. Id stand there is shock and shack my head "N..no that can't be true..." I'd say as id step backwards. "Im sorry Princess but it's true.." before the doctor could continue i bolted out the door in tears running. "VALERIE!!" my brother would scream but i did not dare look back i just keep running and running. Id fly open the doors of the garden and fall too my knees and cry. "W..hy w..hy" id mumble. id lay my body against a tree and close my eyes. "This is a dream.." id think, "I'll just sleep and ill wake up to this as a dream" Id close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.

***Id wake up to find myself in my bed\, id sit up and look at the time\, Its 12:00 AM! Id hop out of bed and open my door slowly and walk to my favorite balcony. Id sit on the fuzzy chair that was there on the balcony and close my eyes and relax letting the cold night air hit my face. Id hear footsteps approaching and id say "Go away Kevin". But to my surprise the voice said "I think you got the wrong dude.." Id turn around confused and saw a tall man around my age brown hair and green eyes. Id pick up a stone and hold it ready to launch it at the mysterious man. "Who the hell are you!" Id say with the stone rasine higher. "Whoa! Whoa! Princess Valerie! Put the stone down!" the man would say backing up. "How do u know my name?" id say lowering the stone a little bit. "I mean everyone knows your name.. Your the Princess after all". he'd say with a smirk on his face."Ok listen here i'm about to scream for the guards in about two seconds if you don't tell me who you are!" I'd say sternly. "Im Trey\, Prince of Copenhagen. And you father is best friends with my father and asked if we could stay here to help out while your mother is sick." he'd say. Id lower the stone and place it on the ground i'd say "Oh! I'm sorry i didn't recognize you! You so big now!" id say. "Well you should at least remember who i am we were best friends as kids." he'd say with a smile. Me and Trey have been best friends since we were kids we meet when my father and i went to there kingdom to visit when my mother was taking care of my brother Kevin. It feels good to see him after such a long time. Id run up to him and huge hug\, hed hug me back. "Sorry about that..." id say with a silly grin. "Naw its cool Val!" he'd say with a smile. The truth is when i was younger i had a huge crush on him and wanted to marry him. But when i got older it just..faded. Or so i thought...I'd step away from him and look up at his face his face would glow in the moonlight id blush a little bit. He'd put his hand to my face and stroke my check. Id close my eyes and next i feel his lips on mine\, hard and filled with passion. i'd kiss him back with the same passion. When i opened my eyes i realized what i have done and i turned bright pink. "Ex..cuse me.." id say as i bolted yet again to my room. Id shut the door behind me and stand there is shock i just kissed him...id think to myself...omg i kissed him! Id dance around my room like a crazy person. Id plop on my bead and stare the ceiling. Id pick up my alarm clock and check the time its 2:00 AM! Id lay there look out my window and slowly drift to sleep. ***

I woke up to screaming down the hall,I quickly got out of bed and headed for my door but to my suprise the door was locked. Id try to open the door a few times but it still did not open. I backed away from the door and try to think of another way out, then that's when it hit me. I went into my closet and grabbed the rope that i used to use as a lasso when i was a kid. I opened up my window and look down at the drop to the ground. It was only a few feet down id say to myself as i tied the rope to the window hock and i slowly went down the building holding on to the rope for dear life. When i finally reached the ground i quickly ran in front of the castle and lucky the front door was open. I ran towards the screaming and it lead to my parents room. I open the door and saw the doctor and my father, my father holding my moms hand and the doctor encouraging her to push. Then in a instant she stop screaming and look at me and said, "Valerie...I love you.." Then she turned white and stopped breathing. "Maria? MARIA!" my father would scream and shack her. "I'm sorry my lord...she's gone.." my father would fall to the ground in tears, while i stood there in shock of what just happened. She's dead... id think shes gone...Id then look at my dad and i looked at him with anger. "Why did you lock me in my room!" Id say with anger in my voice. "Dear, it was to protect you i knew that your mother would die so i did not want to make you upset-". "SHES MY MOTHER! AND I'D LIKE TO BE THERE WHEN SHES DEAD!-" Then all of the sudden i feel a gun to my head and everyone feel silent and i turn around to see my brother holding a gun to my head. "Son..put the gun down" my father would say but my brother would still have the gun to my head. "Kevin..what are you doing" id say calmly trying not to sound fearful. "I'm tired of you Valerie, tired of you always complaining" Then he'd pull back the trigger and fire it. Id drop down and the bullet would go right into the doctor's head. The doctor would drop to the ground,blood gushing all over the floor. Then i heard the running of foot steps and saw the guards detaining my brother. I stood there in shock. Confused of why my own brother would try to kill me? Then id feel a hand touch my shoulder, i was Prince Trey. "Valerie..your not safe here." Hed whispers into my ear. "I think maybe you should stay at my castle for the time being." Id nod my head in agreement and rush to my room to pack my things
