THE CHANGING WORLD
A fallen book startled Tae awake. It took him a few moments to realize that he was still inside his classroom, supposedly listening to the presentation of the teacher.

"huh?" Tae blinked his eyes than turned his attention to the side, picking his fallen book with red face
He peeked to the front and sigh of relief when she saw that his teacher was not paying attention to him.
The third year of university had not been kind to Tae. He was too sleep deprived to concentrate, having spent the past night scrambling to finish her assignments .

Taehyung 's eyes wandered all over the classroom, looking at anything but professor Jungkook and his presentation to make sure that he didn't fall asleep again.
Glancing at the window beside him, he noticed the dark red sky once more. It had been like this for months, all over the world, but no could explain why. Tae wondered how long it was going to last.

Tae blinked his eyes. It seemed that even the rain was now somewhat red in colour.
What a strange phenomenon.
Standing up instantly, Tae swept her books into bag in one smooth motion. From the corner of his eye, he could see that jimin had likewise been revitalized by the school bell.

"what do you mean by sleeping?" jimin snorted as he stuffed his belongings into her backpack.

Professor Jungkook glanced down at his watch and announced in a low voice

" The class is over, you may leave now. Do not forget to finish your readings for the next lecture."
"Yes professor!", was the collective reply from the students too excited to conceal their glee at finally being allowed to leave the lecture theatre. They had planned to a small after class basketball match.
The little ball of fur on professor Jungkook 's desk caught taehyung's attention just as he was making his escape, promoting him to look back through the glass door.
Normally, professor Jungkook wouldn't bring the kitten around. He only bought the small kitten to the vet and hadn't had the time to go home, so he could only bring the cat to the classroom.
The Omega's naturally didn't mind
Many spent the lesson eyeing the kitten rather than the boring presentation. It's obvious that they want to pat it, but professor Jungkook's Stern expression prevented anyone from asking for permission.
They couldn't understand why this cold professor even brought such little kitten around. The image simply didn't match!

" Are you going to watch the basketball game?" jimin's question interrupted Tae 's train of thought.

Shook his head "I haven't finished the homework yet"

"Tsk, what a model student you are. "
Tae merely smiled in response and took out his phone to check for unread messages. But a sudden scream disrupted that plan. Taehyung pursed his lips instinctively. That scream sounded familiar.

" Hey! What happened to you?"

"How do you feel? Can you stand? "
Taehyung turned towards the commotion. only to see Jennie, one of the most popular Omega student and also the acclaimed university Belle, crouching along the corridor, holding her head and surrounded by concerned Alphas . She seemed hurt. TAE felt his eyebrows arch in mild surprise.

Rolled his eyes. " she's doing it again. This is already the fourth time this week."

Because Jennie had such a great figure and face , a lot of Alpha's liked her. some Omega's didn't like her because they felt that she was too fake , including jimin, who didn't want to get close to Jennie at all.
Tae chose to ignore the fiasco. he quickly read and replied the new messages. Just as he was about to put his phone in his bag, he noticed that his pencil case was missing.

He sighed. " I'm going back to left myclass.l pencil case behind."

" Don't take too long." jimin waved his hand.

He took his student card and scanned it on the scanner before pushing pushing the door. Since this was engineering faculty, their teacher seemed to have taken it upon themselves to ensure that the engineering faculty had the most advanced technology.
This automatically locked door was one of them. The students would have to use the card to open the lock. Which would naturally record thier in and out. it was used for their attendance, though it was proven to be quite ineffective given that some students often ' lent' their card to their friend to 'prove' their attendance.
Naturally, when they wanted to go back home, just one student is enough because they can hold the door open and others walked out quickly enough.
tae walked inside and looked at the little kitten who approached him
The little kitten trotted towards him. Unable to resist it's cuteness, he bent down to give it a few light pats on the head.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and arched his eyebrows. "something".
Tae stood up immediately. He had totally forgotten about professor Jungkook! .

"l.... Left my pencil case in the classroom, please excuse me, professor". Tae bowed down and dodged his eyes.
Tae tried to walk towards his desk, but the little kitten continued nuzzling his shoes. Tae dared not move , lest he accidentally step on it. He liked animals, and they usually liked him too. He seemed to have some affinity with animals. But now he wished he didn't.
Professor Jungkook was still clearing his desk. There were several thick tomes, and Tae knew he would never be able to understand all of them.
Seeing that professor Jungkook had no intention of helping him. Tae crouched down.

"little kitty, Big brother needs to go, okay?"
The kitten heard him , but did not budge.
tae felt his heart melt at its adorableness. Still, he gently eased kitten off his shoes.
Just as he was about to put it aside, thunder began rumbling outside
Tae felt something hit his head. For a brief moment he wondered if he had been stuck by lightning indoors. His body slumped and his vision blurred.
The last thing he Saw was the kitten on his hand meowing non stop and, behind that, professor Jungkook's body on the floor.

I'M CAT
Everything seemed... Wrong, all distorted and wobbly and way too big.
Whether it was the world that had gone wrong or merely his perception of the world that had gone wrong, Tae could not tell.
He didn't know how long he had been passed out.
When he finally come to, his vision was still a bit blurry. His head throbbed in pain , but not as much as before.
IN front of him, he could see that professor Jungkook was still lying on that ground, he was certain the lightning strike had something to do with it even if he could not quite figure out how.
Tae had expected chaos. Utter, complete, noisy Chaos. But even though he strained his ears he could hear nothing. The world had gone eerily silent.
Did the lightning strike knock evryone (and maybe everything) out?
In a panic, Tae turned to professor Jungkook and

Twisting his neck as far as it could go, TAE took a good look at his back. It was covered with soft, downy fur, almost like a cloud.

Tae raised his not - hand and wiggled it a bit , moving it from right to left. Right to left again as if hoping that everything was nothing but a bad dream.

It was quite a feat that a kitten so small could make a sound so loud.
His small body felt drained of energy. His mind, on the other hand, was spinning with countless thoughts.

As tae struggled to control his New body, he realised, with a chill in his heart , that professor Jungkook was only human in the room. Was he not holding this cat in his hand before he fainted?

Taw wanted to cry but no tears came. All that was left was the high pitched, desperate wailing of a small kitten who couldn't accept the world
A LITTLE CAT AT THAT (part 1)

"Meow...."
TAE finally calmed down. After all that wailing, crying and screaming, he was calm. He had to be. He has also accepted the situation. Not that he wanted to, but because he could see no other way out.
He could only come up with two possibilities. One, his original body had fused, somehow, with this cat. Two, a soul exchange had occurred and the little kitten than piloted his body out of the classroom. He was more inclined to the first guess since a little kitten would not, he hoped, be able to open the door by itself.
Tae did not like the idea of having to track down his own rogue body while its controlled by the soul of a kitten, not One bit.
Besides, he comforted himself, the door locked automatically. However..... There was a chance that someone else could open the door from outside, if the kitten did end up in his body, it probably could not speak, much less call for help. It surely struggled with its new form too. A passerby might have tried to save it.
If so, his body might just be out wandering on its own!
Tae decided to just be optimistic for now and check the door's record later, he definitely couldn't check on his own,so he would ask for help.

Tae forced himself to calm down again. There was little he could do now except to try waking professor Jungkook. He would understand him.

Tae was distressed, but there is no point in wallowing. Uncomfortable as it was, he needed to get used to this body if he was to do anything.
He attempted to take a few steps forward. Its just walking! Left, right, left, right. How hard could it be?
After waking a few steps, Tae droped to the ground once more.tae felt really desperate and uncomfortable.

Learning to walk again was harder than tae had expected. He briefly wondered if a kitten had leas developed legs than an adult cat, moving all four limbs at once was stange but he managed imaging that he was crawling.
His gait was far from the quick, elegant, stride of cats, but it was better than nothing.
tae 's delight did not last long. he felt a strange, yet a oddly recognisable, sensation in his stomach.
Tae hobbled towards professor Jungkook and nudged his hand. Alpha did not move. Tae sighed, or rather, meowed.
Although professor Jungkook did not see like an animal, he was definitely a responsible man. There should be some food for kittens in his bag, if kittens had to be fed very regularly......
Tae did not know much about cats, so he could only hope. As he made his way, slowly and unsteadily, around professor Jungkook's body to his bag, he couldn't help but remember how this would take just a single step in his orginal body.
