It was a bright sunny morning. In a room a girl was getting ready. Her hair set properly in a ponytail. Eyes shimmering with power and mischief. it was like she was going to conquer something in life which she knew would change her life to great extent. But she didn't care, all she cared about was her obsession. looking so sweet like a angel fallen straight from heaven but having evil thoughts. She wasn't a sweet damsel in distress. She was devil dressed in angels clothes. Her eyes looking sharp enough holding a deep persuasion in it. God knows who she was going to capture today with her allure.

On the other side. In a board meeting room, a sharp man sitting in suit, looking sharp enough to cut everyone in this room with just his looks, barked orders like he was someone no one in the world could deny. His aura held immense power and the boardroom was 10 degrees lower than its actual temperature. Everyone in the boardroom shivered at the unusual temperature in the room when the menacing voice of the man sitting on the main chair echoed. Some looked at him with awe, while some looked at him with jealousy. Women staring at him with eyes holding definite lust. That was him Shawn Salvatore.

"I said that I want a new branch in that country over 2 weeks ago, and you guys still can't get a land for that? What I'm i paying you for? Slacking around?!do you even know how crucial that business is for us?!" Shawns cold voice dripping with sarcasm echoed through the room making the people lower their head in shame.

Just then a ringtone disturbed the eerie courtroom, the room fell silent. Shawn looked at his screen. There was a hint of surprise but a pinch of softness when he looked at the name showing on the screen. Susanne. His bestfriends sister. In his eyes was a cute little girl who must be protected from the world. but they never called each other so he wondered what was so important that she decided to call him. He looked at the screen for a second and then picked up the call.

"Hello" shawn spoke in his soft voice, everyone around him shocked, eyes balling out.

Then came the voice from the other side, a cute voice.

"hii" spoke Susanne.

"is everything alright?" asked shawn

"yes everythings fine, I need a favour from you" said Susanne sounding a bit uncertain.

"tell me, I'll do it" shawn said it without a thought.

"I can't talk about it over the phone, can we meet? I'll come to your office" said Susanne.

"Hm.. Does your brother know that you are coming? Is he the one dropping you?" asked Shawn.

"no I'll come alone" Susanne spoke in a urgency.

"do you want me to come pick you up?" asked Shawn being the gentlemen he is.

"I'm perfectly capable of coming on my own, I'll be there soon" Susanne said, a finalty in her voice. And soon she hung up.

She looked at her reflection one last time in the mirror and turned on her heels. She wore a wide leg Black jeans with a black hoodie and black heels.

She walked out of the house and got in her brother's car. And drived to Shawns office.

As she reached the office she called shawn who came to pick her as he knows she doesn't know anyone in his office. They both made their way to his office and he made her sit down on the couch and sat on the other couch.

"So what's so urgent?" shawn asked reading one of his eyebrows with a hint of smile.

"let's get married" Susanne said, deadpan

It was early morning~

Susanne at any cost wasn't a early bird. But duty calls, she woke up to the sound of her alarm ringing. She groaned in dissatisfaction and blinked her eyes. having slept late, she regretted her decision of staying up and watching that new drama. Her hair were all disheveled and she looked like a sleepy haze. She stripped herself from the blanket and made her way to the bathroom. She quickly got ready, going through her morning routine. She got dressed in a white jeans and black top tucked in, applying a bit of moisturizer, sunscreen and a pink lip gloss, her hair up in a way ponytail. She wore her shoes and got out of room and made her way downstairs to the kitchen. Her mom and dad were still asleep and her brother p was out at the gym maybe. She quickly fixed some quick breakfast for herself and went out wearingher boots. As she came out she saw her brother and her brother's bestfriend who she fancied come walking after hitting the gym, she greeted Shawn and made a weird face at her brother who hit or on the head in return.

Susanne's POV

"I swear if I become an idiot because of your hitting I'm gonna sue you!!" I said to my brother, falcon.

"whatever" falcon replied with a half smirk and half sass.

"don't tease her fal" said shawn with a smile on his face.

"you better tell your platonic wife" I said in mock way to shawn.

They both were togather so much that it almost felt like they both were dating. Not like I'm complaining but isn't it a bit too much? these guys are always touching on each other. I don't know why but I feel jealous everytime I see my brother running his hands in Shawns hair.

"Worry not Sussane, I'll keep my wife on the leash" said shawn with a smirk looking at my brother

"ewww" i said looking at both of them with a teasing smile.

"are you going to the university?" shawn asked looking at me dressed up.

Me being the idiot I was forgot that I was running late to my university having a banter with my brother. I glared at my brother and said

"it's your fault!! Im late!"

he just shrugged his shoulders..

"okay no worries let's go I'll drop you off" said shawn.

He had his bike with him as they both had gone to the gym togather.

I looked at my brother for approval who just nodded and headed back inside our home. Shawn swing his leg over his bike and got on he opened the leg resting holds and asked me to hop on. I held on to his shoulder and got on the bike. the bike roared to life and we started heading towards my university. I tried to keep a distance, but the height of the seat and the speed made me hold on to his jacket. He didn't seem to mind. He never did, as he thought of me as a sister, but I felt a weird sensation in me. I feel weird whenever he is around. I feel like talking alot and smiling alot.

"If you are scared, hold me." he said in a reassuring tone .

"it's fine, your driving is better than that of my brother. That idiot drives like he has nine lives! You won't believe what he told me the other day!" i said with an annoyed tone.

"what did he say?" He asked with a chuckle.

"he handed me his phone while driving and told me it's fine if I fall but I should protect his phone at any cost!" i said with mock hurt.

for which i received a throaty laugh from him. though I was happy to make him laugh i was annoyed too.

"don't laugh, you know that's so rude! Like I'm a human he isn't supposed to say that to his sister!" i said again for which he cleared his throat and controlled smiling.

"he was just kidding, you know your brother, he loves to tease you." he said.

"How could I ever make a husband not support his wife right?" i said teasing him.

"Oh come on!" he said with another laugh.
