Double Trouble - Book 3

Episode 1

***Before you go on, you should know that to read this book, you have to read the first two of this series.

Xoxo

THIS IS NOT EDITED YET***!

***

Writer's POV:

In just a few years, a once gloomy house, full of dark and ugly secrets, had been completely transformed.

Now full of life, love And joy. The Enrique family seemed reborn. Literally. There were more laughs than cries. More reasons to live. Every single person was happy; from Lodovica Enrique down to the youngest maid or houseboy.

Nothing to do with the house that once belonged to Eugene.

No, this one was filled with new air. Everyone had his or her share of happiness like the late father Lorenzo, was watching over them with a good eye.

Anthonio and his wife were deep in love, same with Leandro and Kloe.

Lodovica's dream had come true.

But apart from all that, those that brought the brightest smiles to everyone's lips were the next generation of the Enrique family. The grandchildren of late Lorenzo.

Little Noemi Lèaina Enrique had recently joined the family and she was just growing up just as fast.

The house's princess and her parents reason to live. She was a little dime. As precious as a ruby.

And then, there were her older brothers; Her cousins and guardians like her father would say.

The twins. Lorenzo and Alejandro. Two identical and very handsome little boys.

At first it wasn't easy differentiating them but as they grew older, it got a little easy. Though they still succeeded in getting people mixed up in their heads. Sometimes their own family members.

When they turned five, some differences were easily noticeable.

Lorenzo hardly smiled while Alejandro did every time. Irony was, Lorenzo loved to play more than Alejandro.

And other than that, Lorenzo seemed to have darker hair than his brother.

Even with those little differences, it wasn't enough at times to tell them apart still and so to help, they had different hairstyles.

With a father and uncle like Anthonio and Leandro, they were sure to wear the best of clothes. Always stylish and updated. Yes just like little Noemi, they were spoiled in every kind of way.

*

Donnica's POV:

The twins and Noemi always received at least two pairs of new shoes after every four days from either their uncle or father.

It pleased me to see how love was so evident in our everyday lives. And things had gotten better since Leandro and Kloe had sealed things up at their wedding three years ago.

Little Noemi was now three and a half while the twins were five. And they sure knew how to give us a hard time. Screams and laughter throughout the day.

Lodovica's wished had come true.

They were finally running about the house, screaming, laughing, playing, breaking stuff and getting scolded for that. It amused me. There Kloe and I were.

Mothers, married and in love. Everything was perfect.

The twins always spent time with their father and uncle who made sure to spoil them with the best of toys and clothes.

Always taking the kids out for ice cream and food.

~

One day we sat in the living room all four of us when the kids came running in as usual.

"What did I say about running about the house??" I asked sternly, making them halt immediately.

"What if you break things again or worse, hurt yourself."

I repeated the same song over and over but it was close to useless. The boys were really stubborn and of course, little Noemi followed them in what they did.

"Sorry mama!" They all giggled.

Noemi then ran into her father's arms and he carried her immediately.

"My princess. Muah!" He kissed her round cheek and her little giggles were the best sound.

"Daddy?" She called in her tiny voice.

"Yes my Angel?"

"You pomised to zake me to the mall to get me earring holez..."

Her way of pronouncing her words were so funny and cute. There was that little lisp she and the twins had, like any other kid of their age. And with that little Latino accent, it made them a whole lot cuter.

"Oh it's true. Let's go then."

"Yay!"

The twins immediately jumped on their father and we laughed.

"Papa can we go wif them?? Pleeeaash!" They both begged and it was so hard refusing.

"Hahaha okay. Okay."

"And we'll get ice cream right after," Leandro chuckled.

"Yessss!"

Now was time to hop on uncle Leandro too.

They eventually left and after two hours or so, they returned.

Little Noemi was all over the place, flaunting her new earrings and making us laugh.

But then, I froze on seeing the twins, realising they had earrings on too!!

"What??" I squatted to face them, realising they both had holes on each ear.

"Anthonio you let them have earring holes too??" I asked in disbelief.

"Yeah why not? I have earrings so I thought they would look great with them too." He chuckled and walked past me.

I couldn't believe my eyes.

I looked at them. What else could I do. I ended up shaking my head and kissing them in amusement.

At least the earrings would help in differentiating too.

Writer's POV:

The days flew by, followed by months, then years.

When the twins hit puberty, at 13, they decided to get rid of their curls, straightening their hair and opting for the same hairstyle, similar to their father's and uncle's.

The twins had always been stubborn though they did respect their parents. When their parents or family were around, they were on their best behavior. But when the cat is absent, the mice play.

As they grew older and hit puberty, they got even more attractive and fond of girls. Of course the girls got fond of them too.

They were like infected with a disease that only girls could cure.

And this was a problem that gave every adult in that house a hard time. But what did they expect? They were Enrique boys after all.

At thirteen, everyone was already tired of their girl issues. It was such an amusing fact.

One day, Anthonio was walking down one of the corridors of the huge house when he heard low voices behind one of the doors.

He halted and approached the door, leaning against it to listen; and what he heard almost drove him mad.

"I shouldn't be here,"

Juanita's twelve year old daughter could be heard whispering to Anthonio's hearing on the other side of the door. She usually assisted her mother in the kitchen.

"Don't be worried. I'm with you. You know how I feel about you Lucita. I'm in love with you."

Anthonio couldn't believe his ears. He couldn't tell which of the twins it was.

"*We don't know what love is Lorenzo..."

"I do. Let me teach you everything I know. Close your eyes and let me*..."

Anthonio nearly choked. Was it his thirteen year old son talking like that??

He immediately opened the door as angry as ever, surprising both kids. Lorenzo froze, wide eyed.

"Lorenzo what is wrong with you?!" Anthonio scolded "How- What- why?! You know what, Lucita go to your mother right away! Move it."

The scared little girl immediately ran out of the room and down the staircase. Anthonio stared at his son, speechless and angry.

"What did I tell you Lorenzo?? Alejandro got grounded for something similar And here you are! I- don't even know what to do with you!" Anthonio ran his fingers through his hair.

Just then, Donnica followed by the other twin and Leandro appeared.

"What's wrong this time?" Leandro mused.

"Donnica please ask your son what's going on! I'm tired. He was busy fooling Lucita behind this door!"

Leandro had to withhold himself from laughing.

"What?" Donnica turned to Lorenzo "Is that so?  Okay choose. Grounded for a month or you do everyone's laundry."

"Grounded mama!" Lorenzo immediately made his choice.

"Get all your electric devices. From phone to laptop and give them to me. Plus, no TV."

Donnica frowned and walked away, followed by father and amused uncle.

Lorenzo turned to his now laughing brother.

"What are you laughing at." He frowned and Alejandro laughed even more.

"Lucita? Seriously? Jasmine is way cuter." He mused succeeding in getting a smile on Lorenzo's lips.

"True." He chuckled.

"You kissed her?"

"Was going to before papa came around."

"That makes one for me and zero for you."

"Shut up." He playfully pushed his younger brother's head and both laughed, going down the hall with each one's arm on the other's shoulder.

Episode 2 - High School Seniors

***

Writer's POV:

When Noemi hit puberty, all boys in her class noticed. She developed that svelte silhouette her mother had with that roundness in the right places.

Her cuteness was her strength, especially when it came to flattering her father. She had those wide eyes surrounded by long eyelashes that made her stare as attractive as her smile.

Oh more boys came rushing to her feet after her Qinceañera (15th birthday celebration), but none could really get that close to her.

Her father was feared as well as her cousins that attended the same school. She was that girl every guy crushed on but couldn't get their hands on; because if they did, they sure were dead meat.

That was the rumour that went round and no boy ever tried to get really close to her and discover if this rumor was true or not. No one wanted to be the example set for others to see.

~~

The time came when she was finally sixteen and after her birthday, she sure was determined to flirt more than she already did, and get herself a boyfriend. Behind the back of all men in her family of course.

Yes she was an Angel in front of her father, but out of the family house, Lèaina was just as daring and crazy as her mother.

As the twins got older, the trouble got worse. Not on the inside, but outside the house.

Lorenzo was that twin who pretended to be calm in front of people he didn't know; that twin who could be really snob with annoying adults, classmates and strangers; that twin that controlled his temper but not his mouth.

Yes Lorenzo had a very bad mouth. A very very very bad mouth. He won 98% of every verbal argument he got involved in and most of his opponents would leave with a broken ego and sometimes in tears.

Alejandro was that twin that laughed a lot; that twin that was always ready to fight. He was the arms and Lorenzo the mouth. They were the perfect team; he was that twin that shot rotten eggs on a teacher's window while Lorenzo mocked.

Yup they were a headache to the people they mutually disliked.

As twins they had a very special bond. They would look at each other in the eyes and be able to know what the other was thinking. One could be hurt and the other would feel his pain. One could be in danger and the other would immediately feel it in his guts. They shared everything.

The things they had in common; they were very social with the right people; they were good hypocrites too; they loved girls and loved breaking their hearts just as well; they'd both lost their innocence at fourteen; they loved to party and now they were eighteen and highschool seniors.

![](contribute/fiction/1442093/markdown/13939940/1602725550873.jpg)

But with all that, they brought home good results; the best. And those were enough to stop the headache they caused their family.

\*\*\*

Mr Andrè, the history teacher walked about the front of the class as he explained the topic they were treating that morning.

He might have appeared alright in front of his students but he had one thing in mind, disturbing him. He secretly wished and hoped that this time, the Enrique twins wouldn't cause any nonsense in class.

Dislike was an understatement for what he felt towards the boys. He did not appreciate them at all.

The last time, they'd publicly provoked him and he lost his cool but so did they. The only thing the principal did was suspend them for some days.

Knowing to which family they belonged, it was hard punishing them like any other student would be.

But he had to admit it was partly his fault. He'd acted stupid from day one by trying to walk on them.

He was that type of man who'd wanted to prove to the twins that them being from a dangerously influential family didn't scare him. But he proved it the wrong way by publicly trying to humiliate them for no reason at all, by giving them tests harder and different from what he gave to the other students, by giving them long hours of detention for little disturbances.

When the twins discovered his tricks, they made life hard for him. Instead of reporting his acts to the school administration, they decided to take the rules into their own hands.

And it was from that moment that Mr Andrè regretted his stupid acts. It was too late though. Now they were big boys. Eighteen years old.

The twins had their red eyes on him. He was gonna pay till they graduated.

That was something that made him slightly relieved. They were seniors and soon enough they would have to graduate and leave for good.

"Who can answer the question?" He asked the class.

A few students raised their hands, including a smirking Lorenzo.

Mr Andrè looked around, avoiding Lorenzo who was quite close.

"Yes Carmine." He pointed at a girl in the corner.

"Why Carmine???" Lorenzo suddenly asked out loud and the man found himself swallowing. He knew the silence had lasted way too long and he was in no mood for trouble with the twins.

Last time he'd discovered his car with all the four tyres burst, and he knew it just had to be them.

One had even succeeded in sleeping with his daughter and he didn't know which of them had. He'd tried to do something about it but both denied whatsoever and even threatened him.

He should've never gotten in their way.

"What?" He asked, clearing his throat and trying to sound as normal as possible.

"Why Carmine and not me? I am definitely in your view ain't I?" He asked and some students chuckled.

"Um...okay Lorenzo." Mr Andrè cleared his throat again "...answer the question then..."

"I don't know the answer." He replied casually and the students laughed as lowly as possible. Apart from Alejandro who laughed freely, enjoying the drama.

"Carmine Darling you can answer the teacher's question now..." He winked at the blushing girl.

And just then, to Mr Andrè's greatest relief, the bell went for lunch.

"See you next class. Don't forget to read the chapters I gave." He hurriedly packed his things and left the class.

Immediately he did, the students laughed out loud.

"I hate that man." Lorenzo chuckled, turning to fist bump his brother.

"One more thing we have in common." Alejandro laughed.

They packed their stuff into their bags, preparing to go for lunch.

Two friends of theirs approached them.

"That was crazy. Will you ever give Mr Andrè a break?" Dino laughed.

"Why should we?" Lorenzo replied casually.

"There are two chances of us leaving him alone." Alejandro started. "When we graduate and leave or\-"

"When he gets raped by a homeless schizophrenic man." Lorenzo completed his brother's sentence like they always did with one another, and they burst out laughing.

"And none of those would would happen anytime soon. We have six more months to graduation. Meaning six more months to teach his lanky \*\*\* a lesson. That man hated us from 8th grade and made our lives a living hell. Now that we're big enough, he'll have to put up with the nightmares we give him." Alejandro added.

They got their bags and stood.

"No one could've said it better."

Dino and Carlos laughed even more.

Just then, a group of girls that were passing by their seats smiled and waved.

"Hello Lorenzo and Alejandro." They said sweetly.

Alejandro smiled and nodded at them while Lorenzo pretended not to hear, manipulating his phone till they were gone.

"hahaha why didn't you answer?" Carlos asked Lorenzo

"Cuz I don't know them." He mused "let's go."

They all laughed and left for lunch.

Episode 3 - Seniors & Skunks

***

Writer's POV:

Noemi took a tray and so did her friends before they lined up to get their lunch.

"Hey Noemi. You good?" Xavier, a cute guy from her class asked as he passed by.

She'd not noticed him and was even surprised he'd stopped to talk to her.

He'd always acted all shy and she was quite flattered he'd finally gathered the courage to talk to her. But other boys didn't have that courage.

"Uh yeah. Hello Xavier..." She replied casually and he smiled shyly at her.

"Um okay...uh...see you in class..." He stammered and immediately rushed away.

Her friends giggled.

"That was so cute yet so pathetic." Diana laughed and the others joined her.

"It's clear he has a crush on you. Like most guys here by the way." Lolita added.

"No that's not true." Noemi giggled, tucking a strand of her curls behind her ear "And even if he does have a crush on me, there are no chances."

"There are never chances with you Lèaina. You're complicated with the boys."

"Uh huh. I want the perfect boyfriend. Chocolate and fiiiinnne. I want a macho like my dad. One that knows how to respect me and at the same time gains all my respect." She ended and her friends cooed, making her giggle.

Just then, the Enrique twins entered the huge cafeteria followed by their friends. Of course most heads turned, including Noemi's friends.

"Boy they're so calientè." Diana cooed, biting her lower lip.

"Mmmhmmm..." The others agreed.

"Eeew." Noemi laughed and rolled her eyes, facing her front.

At school the twins had come up with some decisions Noemi had to follow. They pretended not to be related at all though people from their classes knew they were. Noemi was a class lower and the seniors called them skunks. So it was all about reputation and the twins sure knew how to maintain a top reputation.

The seniors didn't hang with the skunks unless it was for flirtatious reasons.

Noemi was a skunk and the twins didn't hang with her at school. But people knew better than to look for her trouble. Though they didn't speak at school, the boys loved their younger cousin a lot and were always ready to protect her and break the jawbones of any guy that bothered or irritated her. If she reported you to them, you were dead meat for sure.

At first this ignoring hurt her but with time she got used to it. Most seniors looked up to the twins as the most popular guys in school and they sure had a reputation to maintain.

And though it really annoyed her at times, she had no choice but to put up with it.

The twins got their trays followed by many other Seniors of their 'level' like the jocks, pom pom girls and other cool kids. Of course they were part of the school basketball team too.

Most of the highschool juniors on the line gave way for them because they were sure to be pushed out of the line.

"Let's get out of the way real fast." Diana rolled her eyes and they began to shift.

Problem was, Noemi's bag fell and as she struggled to pick it up and get her stuff straight, too late.

If they seniors met you in line, it was trouble.

She stood up to face her cousins and the rest. No one spoke to her as they expected her cousins to take care of the situation. Whenever it had to do with Noemi Enrique, the other seniors preferred to leave it to the twins.

"Why are you still on the damned line skunk!?" Alejandro asked, pretending to be annoyed. The whole cafeteria watched the scene.

"Um my...my backpack..."

"Blah blah blah..." Lorenzo rolled his eyes "...this is the fourth time you mess with the seniors Enrique!"

"I'm...sorry. But my bag..."

Alejandro shut her up with a hand in the air.

"Now you go to the end of the line as punishment. Way way back. Last." Alejandro stated firmly.

Noemi had to withhold herself from rolling her eyes, the lump in her throat growing. It annoyed her but she was getting used to it.

"Move it!!!" Lorenzo growled slapping her tray to the floor. Luckily there was nothing on it. She shook, startled.

As fast as possible, she picked her tray and had the time to give the twins a short ugly stare before going to the back of the Line.

*

After lunch, Noemi was in the girls' washroom washing her hand when a senior entered.

"Everybody out! Now!" She ordered and the girls present rushed to the exit, including Noemi.

"You stay Noemi." She said to Noemi's surprise.

And when every other girl was gone, she opened the door and the twins stepped in. She then left them alone.

Noemi rolled her eyes at them.

"What do you want?" She folded her arms.

"Aaaw look how cute you are." They chuckled and opened their arms to hug her.

"Nope don't touch me. I was last to get my lunch because of you!" She grumbled trying to dodge them but they caught her and hugged her.

"We're sorry Lèa." Lorenzo chuckled.

"It's highschool life. And you know how things happen here. Thought you'd gotten used to it."

"Not really." She frowned with a little pout.

"Aaaw we're sorry okay. You forgive us??? Por favor princessa..." They flattered and she tried not to smile.

"Smile for us. We're sorry..."

Noemi found herself smiling after all.

"Fine. Now free the girls room." She giggled.

"Voila! Beautiful!" They chuckled and each kissed her forehead before heading to the exit.

"And stay away from trouble Enrique." Lorenzo added.

"Yes mighty senior." She rolled her eyes and they laughed before eventually leaving.

It was the same scenario every single time.

**

After school that day, Noemi decided to walk back home with her friends and so on leaving the school building, she told her cousins that she would not be following them back home in their car.

The twins had received a car for their sixteenth birthday.

"Well Meema says we should return together. Apparently there's something very important we have to discuss with the parents." Alejandro told her.

Meema was the pet name they'd given their grandmother, Lodovica.

"Ooh. I'd told the girls we'd be going home together."

The twins smirked at each other.

"Who were you supposed to go home with?" Lorenzo asked.

"Diana and Ariana."

"Oh then tell them to come along. We'll drop them off." Lorenzo said.

"Really?? Okay lemme go get them" Noemi rushed to her friends while the twins entered the car, Lorenzo in the driver's seat.

"That Diana friend of hers, have you ever noticed her boobs?" Lorenzo chuckled.

"Of course I have. Big and round. At seventeen she's full. I want to touch them so bad." His brother replied and they laughed.

"Yeah...the dream. We should propose a massage to her. She sure looks like a carefree bambina."

"She is. Apparently Paulo succeeded in hitting it."

"For real?"

"For real."

"Mmmm. Someone's a bad girl. We should tell Dino to invite her for that party he's organising this weekend."

"Sure. Good idea. Ariana too sure is fine."

"Like hell. Gotta get both of them to that party."

"Sure thing."

They stopped talking when Noemi showed up and entered the car with her friends.

"Thanks for proposing to drop us off." Diana said happily.

"Yeah thank you." Ariana added

The boys turned to them.

"The pleasure is ours."
