Trapped In Flavor
Episode 1 "The Applicant"
Jam Rachata (Top, phi)
The ruheless head chef, owner of a luxury fusion restaurant. Know as the "Kitchen Devil," but behind his icy eyes hides a man who has never been tamed... until films walk in.
Name: Film Thanawat (bottom)
A struggle son with a wounded past, cooking to survive and care of his childlike father. Sweet yet fiery, he's determined to prove himself-even if it means melting the heart of the coldest chef in Bangkok.
Film. Thanapat
(nervous, outside Jam's restaurant):
Sawadee khrab... this is it. If I get this job, maybe Dad's medicine bills will be covered.
Ohm Pawat
(Patting his shoulder):
Don't be scared. You've got talent.
Phi Jam would be crazy not to hire you.
Film. Thanapat
(smiles faintly):
Thank you, Phi Ohm.
Without you, I'd never dare try.
Ohm Pawat
(grinning):
I'll always be on your side. Now go, before you faint here.
[Film walks inside the luxurious restaurant. The air smells of Thai Curry mixed with baked bread.]
Jam. Rachata
(Cold, arms crossed):
Another applicant? Hmph,
Do you even know how hot my kitchen runs?
Film. Thanapat
(bows slightly):
Sawadee Khrab, Phi Jam. Please... just one chance.
Jam. Rachata
(studies him, voice sharp):
One chance?
I don't babysit. This isn't a playground.
Film. Thanapat
(firm):
I can cook. And I need this job.
Ohm Pawat
(from the side, protective):
He's serious, Jam.
Don't dismiss him.
Jam. Rachata
(shoots ohm a glare):
Ohm, stay out of this. You're not the one running my kitchen.
Film. Thanapat
(quietly):
Phi Jam... please Let me prove myself.
Jam. Rachata
(after a pause):
...Fine. Cook. If you fail, walk out and never return.
[Film rushes to the kitchen, recalling his father teaching him to cook Pad Kra Pao before the accident. His hands tremble, but he steadies himself and adds a Western twist with Parmesan shaving.]
Ohm Pawat
(Whispering, worried):
Film, you can do it...
Jam. Rachata
(watching silently, eyes sharp):
...
[Film finishes, plates the dish, and places it before Jam. Jam takes a bite. The whole kitchen freezes.]
Jam. Rachata
(expression unreadable):
...Who taught you to cook this?
Film. Thanapat
(voice low):
My father.
Before... he changed.
Jam. Rachata
(his eyes flicker, softer for a second, but then hides it):
Hmph.
Don't get cocky.
Ohm Pawat
(smiling, relieved):
See? I told you, he's good.
Jam. Rachata
(shoots him a jealous glance, then looks back at Film):
Tomorrow. Sunrise. Be here. if you're late—you're out.
Film's eyes widen with shock & Joy.
Episode 2 "Between Trust & Fire"
Name: Ohm Pawat (Phi) (Top)
Film's loyal best friend.
Knows Jam since childhood because their fathers are business partners, but chooses film over Jam in loyalty.
Later falls for Nanon at first sight.
[Next morning in jam's restaurant. The kitchen is already hot with energy. Film arrives early, eager.]
Film. Thanapat
(Smiling nervously):
Sawadee Khrab, Phi Jam.
I'm ready.
Jam. Rachata
(cold glance):
Hmph.
Let's see if yesterday was luck or skill.
(Jam gives him tough tasks-chopping, seasoning, managing orders.)
Film. Thanapat
(focused, sweating):
...Yes, Phi.
Ohm Pawat
(enters, bringing breakfast boxes):
Film! You didn't eat again? Here, I brought food for you and your dad.
Film. Thanapat
(soft smile):
Phi ohm, you always take care of us.
Thank you.
Jam. Rachata
(irritated, voice sharp):
This is a restaurant, not a charity house. If he wants to stay, he should rely on his own skills.
Ohm Pawat
(calm, smirking):
Easy, jam. You're too strict. You forget I've known you since childhood. Our fathers worked side by side, remember?
Jam. Rachata
(eyes narrowing):
Business is one thing. My kitchen is another. Don't interfere here.
Film. Thanapat
(trying to ease tension):Phi Jam... I'll prove myself, please don't fight.
Jam. Rachata
(staring at Film, voice low):
Then don't lean on anyone else. If you want to survive here-you depends on me, not him.
(Film is shocked. Ohm notices the way Jam looks at Film, suspicion rising.)
Ohm Pawat
(thinking, smirking to himself):
So that's it, Jam?
You're jealous because Nong Film trusts me more?
Intersecting...
Next:
Jam suddenly announces a high-pressure challenge for Film— cooking against the clock, with the entire staff watching.
{Will Film handle the fire... or burn out?}
Episode 3 "The First Spark"
[Kitchen. The challenge begins. Staff watch as Jam sets a timer.]
Jam. Rachata
(coldly):
Nong film... 20 minutes.
One dish, if you fail, you leave.
Film. Thanapat
(determined):
Yes, Phi Jam.
[Film works quickly, balancing Thai herbs with western spices. Sweat drips down his face. (Everyone whispers) (Ohm clenches his fists in worry.)]
Ohm Pawat
(thinking):
Nong... don't break down.
[Jam watches Film closely, but behind his sharp eyes, something stirs. Film's focus, his hands, his fire—it reminds Jam of himself years ago.]
Film. Thanapat
(panting, plating dish at the last second):
Done.
Jam. Rachata
(tasting slowly, then sets spoon down):
...Passable.
Film. Thanapat
(frowns):
Passable?
Jam. Rachata
(steps closer, voice low):
For a beginner, you've got guts. But don't get cocky.
[Film accidently brushes Jam's hand while taking back the plate. Both freeze for a second. Film's heart races. Jam's eyes flicker with something unspoken before he quickly looks away.]
Ohm Pawat
(noticing, thinking):
Hah... interesting.
Jam. Rachata
(snaps back coldly):
Starting tomorrow, You're in my kitchen. Fail once—you're out forever.
(Later that night, Jam alone in his office. He stares at an old photo of his grandmother and his father.)
Jam. Rachata
(inner voice):
You always said I was nothing. That talent skipped me... that only business mattered. You abandoned me for my uncle's side.
Jam. Rachata
(clenching fists):
One day, I'll show you. I'll bring justice—for my family, and for everyone you destroyed.
(He looks at Film's resume in the desk. A faint smile appears.)
Jam. Rachata
(softly):
Maybe... I finally found someone who can stand beside me in this war.
{Jam closes his eyes, torn between his growing feelings for Film and his burning desire for revenge.}
